Pretty little Sweet Blossom....

Hello all and here's another creation from me today...well seeing I'm on holiday from work!!  so for this card I have used papers from MME - Blush which I layered onto bazzill card and then distressed each of those layers. The flowers are MFT rolled roses, added a few pearls to the centres.  The corner die is from Memory Box...I have seen a few cards with these and they do look fab however I think I need to perfect the sprucing up of mine but for this one I have added little flower sequins.  I also have added a piece of white lace which i bought from funky Kits.  The stamp is Sweet Blossom which has been coloured with copics and shaded with polychromos.  I stamped the image and using an oval template cut around the florally part to make it look like Sweet Blossom was sitting on the bottom of the oval...I added tiny pearls to the image to finish off.

A wee birthday wish...

Howdy folks...hope you are all having a lovely weekend...well I have actually managed to get loads of housework done including washing, the rain has stayed away long enough...yay!! i haven't done much today as I have hurt my shoulder...not sure if I have pulled a muscle but I was using my new dyson yesterday and I felt I had had a work out...it's hard going!!

I started colouring this image through the week and it has taken me until today to get it finished...the stamp is Hazel and Nutty from Sugar Nellie which I have coloured with Distress Inks(still practising). I also inked up around the edges of the image..The papers are from Prima Marketing - Madeleine Collection and MME - Breeze. The flowers have been cut using my MFT royal rose die and leaves, the flourish is a do-hickey. I added stitching to the layers aswell and added a few pearls to finish...

Sugar Bowl Challenge #83

Good morning sugar fans....did I tell you I am on holiday from work for a week so might get the chance to do some extra cards. Today we have a new challenge over at The Sugar Bowl and all you need to do is follow the sketch below...



...the optional theme is to use your favourite Sugar Nellie stamp....what a challenge as there are so many fab Sugar Nellie stamps....

For my card...well what a hard decision as I have a few favourites...Pippi, Fashionista, Bella to name but a few, but I totally love this Gorjuss girl called Bumble Bee. Happy Birthday Dad...

Well good afternoon bloggers, thought I would post this just now as I don't have anything else to show you but it will be fine as my dad doesn't look at my blog. It's my dad's birthday next week and this is the card I have made for him. The stamp is Sail Away from Stampin' Up, I coloured the sails with polychromos, there is actually white and a very pale blue in there!! The paper is from Jillybean Soup - Apple cheddar soup and all layered onto kraft. I doodled around the edges too...I quite like that look. I cut those little flags out with my MFT pennants die. The message is from LOTV...oops nearly forgot...I added a charm too.

I have given my blog a makeover yesterday as I had a few followers say they couldn't read the text on my other one, I think when it was on a go slow and the page took a while to load, so this is my first post on my new look blog.

Raise the Bar GDT card..

Hi folks...incase you think I have been up at stupid o'clock this morning then I wasn't!! This is scheduled...I was lucky enough to be asked to be a Guest Designer today over at Raise the Bar so here is my card.

Told you I had to make up for all those missing die-namics on my last card...well I just love this Sassy stamp, she is adorable!! It's my friends birthday at the weekend so I am hoping she will like this...and she legs like this...so jealous!! the stamp is Fabulous Darling from the Simply Sassy range at Sugar Nellie....so cool!! I have coloured her with promarkers and added glitter...you can see it if you zoom!! The papers are from MME - So Sophie collection and I added lots of flowers!!

Happy birthday Holly...

well...what a miserable day..it's baltic, windy and rainy..mega rainy infact!! Holly will not be happy when she comes home from school as she will be soaked...wouldn't take a brolly with her..probably too windy anyway!! Eventually her new straighteners came yesterday so it was the first time for about 2 weeks that she hasn't been moaning about how horrible her hair is and she seemed to forget about her sore foot!! She hurt her foot yesterday morning and she thinks she has broken it...she hasn't cos she can still walk and was able to go out after school with her friends...she is some drama queen I tell you!! Anyway onto my card...I have actually made a few today...trying to get ahead cos it's nearly crimbo time and I will have to hit the shops although I do most of my shopping online...oh yes back to the card...mmm not sure about it. Christmas angel...

Good morning fellow bloggers and those of you who are off to the NEC...so lucky. I might save my pennies for the NEC next time instead of the SECC. You must tell me what it's like. I am hoping that I can get a couple of cards done today but Holly is off scholl unwell so she is still sleeping just now but she is a hard patient and lays it on worse than it really is...I almost have to be by her side tending to her every demand.."can I have a driiiink", "can you change the channel on the telly", "can you fluff up my pillows"...that's how it will go the full day....she has a sore throat!!
So the is the first one today...the snowflake papers are from Fancy Pants and the digi image is from CC Designs and I coloured this cute little angel with promarkers and then just done some shading on top with waterpencils. The snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart punches...Love them!! I finished off with gems and glitter...hope you like!!

Well it's another crimbo card...I have loads to do but this not James!! This is Wee & a Christmas Tree from Whiff of Joy....I have admired this stamp for ages so now I have it!! I coloured the image with copics. The papers are from Scenic Route - Roxbury...think they are pretty too. I distressed the edges of the layers and added some stickles to the edges too. Finished with a message and a metal snowflake charm. I have entered the following challenges.

It's James again...

Well that's me on holiday so the plan is lots of cards and to catch up on housework(boring). I will be visiting the Hobbycraft Show next week so can't wait for that!! Thought I would start with another crimbo card as I have lots to make...so you may see a few this week but I will try to vary the image!! I have used Bo Bunny papers - winter Joy which are just fab. The image is James from LOTV which I coloured this time with Promarkers, I then added some white course glitter to James's hat, I added some stickles to the falling snowflakes and the added some die cut snowflakes which I also coloured to match...finished with some gems. Hope you like it...

It's Christmas....

This is a quick post before I get ready to head out to the Pie, Peas and Bingo at the school..I think there is wine as prizes but knowing my luck I will either win nothing or I will win the lovely scented soap!! Anyway onto my card....these papers arrived so I thought I would give them a try, they are totally different to the normal papers I would buy but I thought they were lovely too...they are from Fancy Pants and James with his cracker is of course LOTV which I coloured with copics, glittered him him and added a snowflake and kind of message to match. I have to says to my friends for visiting Carly's blog and leaving her some love...she's so chuffed so if you haven't popped over then you know you can. Summer Fun

Good morning all..hope you are having a lovely Saturday morning....well her is the first of today's cards. I have loved this image from the moment I saw it...it's so fun...it looks like my friend's little lhaso apso...and he's just so cute!! The papers are Bo Bunny's Sun Kissed collection and the image is from Wags 'n' whiskers which I coloured with copics...I am going to try out Holly's Promarkers in a bit for a change. I thought these papers were very summery and I have tried to make it look like the sun in the sky and the strip of blue is to resemble to sea??..oh and I made the sun by die cutting a daisy and snipping the ends of to make the petals look more like rays... This one is for you...Faye...If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake..

When I saw this image I just I had to have it...although I am not 100% happy with the colouring so I might do another but for now here we are. I wanted to enter the simon says Stamp challenge this week but couldn't think of a song that would match a card but when I started colouring I started humming a wee tune to myself and I thought...perfect. The papers are from Scenic Route...which I need to get more off as I am running out and I am liking these ones...the image is a Whimsey Meljens Designs image which has been coloured with cpoics, I added some glaze to the spots/sweets on the cake but you can't really see it in the photo, I also added some chalk around the flame of the candle to give it a glow...hope you like an I have entered in the following challenges:
