California dreamin'...

Good evening bloggers and my late post...I have not long returned refreshed from my run...need to shift that last 1/2lb so I have taken to running...phew!!

My card this evening resembles our lovely weather...not..but wouldn't it be lovely just to have one sunny day. I bought this digi from Saturated Canary, she is called Cali Girl and I coloured her with copics....now I had to pay a little more attention to the skin colouring as I wanted her to have a sunkissed glow however I don't think she had her cream on her face as her cheeks are a bit well fired..I also added glossy accents to her sunnys to give them a bit of a shine. The papers are Fancy Pants - summer soul which are perfect for that summery look card. The flower is cut from my MFT Hibiscus die-namics die...

My GDT card for Joanna Sheen...

Good morning Sunday bloggers and it's my official first weekend of no weekend working..woo hoo!! Today's card is my GDT card for Joanna Sheen....I couldn't believe it when Paula emailed me to ask if I would like to join them for this challenge, so of course I said yes.

So I have used this fabby House Mouse Stamp called Rainy Daisy Days.......which I coloured with water colour pencils, I stamped the flowers out twice and gave them a 3D look...to look like wee brollies and then added glitter to them so that it look like the water shining and splashing on them. The papers are MME - Happy Go Lucky, I finished with a sizzix cut daisy and the sentiment is from personal Impressions.

Pop over to the Joanna Sheen blog to check out the others cards.

Scrapalicious - April Showers

This one took me ages....

A flying visit from me today....I have to say although I like this stamp, it took me ages to colour and I wasn't really sure what to do with her hair. Originally I set out to make a card to fit the challenge on the sugar Nellie Facebook page with spring like papers and colours however it went completely up in the air...so the stamp is Entangled from Sugar Nellie which I stamped onto kraft and coloured with polychromos. The papers are MME - Lost and found which are really lovely and layered onto kraft and bazzill card which I distressed. I added some raffia, ribbon and button twine to which I attached a flower and button, the flowers have been cut with my favourite die...MFT flower trio die and I used felt and kraft to do that and then added pearls to the centres. The message is from Personal Impressions. It's a bit different but hope you likey...

peek- a - boo....

Thought I would post this quick card while I am waiting on Michael phoning to say what's happening...i could be up a while. He is heading home early from T in the park as the gigantic wig wam him and his friends took has been wrecked and their sleeping bags are soaked...they are not happy bunnys!! Now as most of you know T in the Park is not really near anywhere and no train station and the nearest one being in Perth and the first train is at 5am to Edinburgh...oh the worries, no wonder I have grey hair!!

So when I say a quick card, I started colouring last night but put it all together tonight!!

The stamp is new from Sugar Nellie and is called Peek a Boo...isn't she purty?? I have coloured her with DI's. The papers used is from Kaisercraft - Utopia and First Edition - Up, Up & Away which I have stitched around. I punched 3 circle out and cut a spiral and rolled them into flowers...I did have a die but it seems to have gone AWOL. I added little pearls to the centres and layered them onto a section of a flourish die cut. I added the message and a little glitter to the pressie and balloons...hope you likey!!

The Sugar Bowl - sketch and flowers
Ruby's Rainbow - birthday
Scrapalicious - turquoise(some turquoise in the papers and colouring)
Simon Says Stamp - a stitch in time
