Welcome all my Sundae bloggers and once again my scheduled post!! As I am typing this I am not sure if I will be at work on sundae...that all depends on the weather so best to schedule it. The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is to make something you will be sending as a gift. I have made this little gift bag which I am going to send to my SIL this Christmas...of course with a gift inside. The papers I have used are from Echo Park - Wintertime....loving them just now. The image is from CC Designs which has been coloured with copics. I added glitter to give it a more shimmery look and of course a snowflake. I have entered this in the following challenges.

3 cards in 1 post....

Well what is this snow like...I spent nearly all day yesterday clearing snow...today I felt like I had been in the ring with Mike Tyson...I am all sore and achy!! Anyway I had kind of started these yesterday but finished them today. The first card I thought would be fun to do....I have no idea where I got the sentiment stamp, the papers are Colourful Christmas from MME, I added some snowflakes and glitter.....easy peasy. I have entered this card in the following challenges.

charisma - sketch
The Creative Cottage - non traditional colours
Top Tip Tuesday - anything goes
Totally Stampalicious - anything goes

The second card I have made using Midnight Frost papers from Bo Bunny...they are really beautiful IRL. The image is from CC Designs which I coloured with copics and to give Emma's apron a see through look, I stamped it again onto vellum and layered it under the ribbon. I punched some snowflakes with the Martha Stewart snowflake punches and added some glitter. This card has been entered in the following challenges.

Cupcake - light it up
Papertake Weekly - sketch
ABC christmas Challenge - Y - Yuletide
Cute Card Thursday - The blues
Paper cutz - 2 papers
Paperplay - monochrome

Oh...this took me a few attempts at colouring this image as I wasn't happy with it. Originally I wanted to do blue and pink but it didn't look right, then I tried blue and red and that didn't look right either so I finally settled for this....I am much happier with this one. The image is Siku and Shiya from Mo Manning which I coloured with copics, I added white glitter on the furry parts of their jackets. The papers are Basic Grey Figgy which I thought looked good with the image. I am waiting on the Eskimo Kisses papers coming along with some other stuff but due to the weather not sure when they will come so decided just to go with these ones. I punched some snowflakes and added glitter. I have entered the following challenges.

Simon Says Stamp - sketch
Stampavie - snow/snowflakes
By the cute and Girly - children
DP2 - glitz & glimmer
Totally Papercrafts - xmas punches
Stamp Something - holiday colours
Stamps R Us - holidays
OSCC - christmas cuties

Merry Christmas...

Well I survived the sleepover...just!!.. They all went to sleep around 3amand then were wakened up at 9am...what is all that about?? So the bathroom routine started...which took forever, then breakfast and then we hit the winter Wonderland in town...it was baltic!! They had a ball at the ice skating...it was so funny watching all those parents with the really small children and them trying their hardest not to fall. Holly didn't want me to go on the ice cos she didn't want me showing off in front of her pals..me being the sporty person that I used to be...I can skate really good...well forwards and backwards but I can't do any jumps. My mum used to be a speed skater and she first took me skating when I was 4 years old and I learned to skate with all the fast skaters....I can still skate really fast!! I remember being at a school camp in 2nd year and we went skating and I had never told anybody I could skate...fast...that was funny, all my schools mates were just standing there with their mouths open saying OMG!! Anyway back to the card...I have used papers from October Afternoon, the image is from CC Designs and I coloured her with copics, stamped the message and then added glitter to finish off. I have entered the following challenges.

The Sweet Shop - sketch
Sweet Stampin' - buttons and bows
2 sisters - non traditional
Crazy 4 Challenges - script
Crafty Catz - christmas

Merry Christmas...

I have been quiet the past couple of days as I haven't been feeling well...still don't feel 100% but being a mother you just have to get on with it!! I have made this card using Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers, the snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart punches, the tags are from Stampin' Up tiny tags which I stamped and punched, the message was stamped but I masked off the full message as it was too big to fit and the image is from All That scraps and coloured with copics. To finish off I added glitter to the snowflakes and the trims on Darby's boots, jacket and hat.

I distressed the edges of the card on each of the layers as I made a bit of a boob when stitching..totally covered up now...I am getting to be a dab hand at the patch up jobs!!I also embossed the circle with a snowflake embossing folder. The image is Penelope from CC Designs...Stamp & Create lots of CC Designs stamps. I coloured Penelope with copics. The snowflake has been punched with the Martha Stewart Scandanvian Snowflake punch..love it!! I stuck a jumbo gem in the middle for some extra glitz and I added some glitter to finish off....I am quite chuffed with this one.

Christmas angel...

Good morning fellow bloggers and those of you who are off to the NEC...so lucky. I might save my pennies for the NEC next time instead of the SECC. You must tell me what it's like. I am hoping that I can get a couple of cards done today but Holly is off scholl unwell so she is still sleeping just now but she is a hard patient and lays it on worse than it really is...I almost have to be by her side tending to her every demand.."can I have a driiiink", "can you change the channel on the telly", "can you fluff up my pillows"...that's how it will go the full day....she has a sore throat!!
So the is the first one today...the snowflake papers are from Fancy Pants and the digi image is from CC Designs and I coloured this cute little angel with promarkers and then just done some shading on top with waterpencils. The snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart punches...Love them!! I finished off with gems and glitter...hope you like!!

Oh Honey...

Well a wee quickie this afternoon as I am getting organised so that I have nothing to do when(housework) when I come home from the SECC tomorrow...except for to play with my goodies...1 sleep...woo hoo!! I wanted to try mt sewing machine agian but still have my L plates on for that....Now this card just kind of fell together, the papers are from 2 different collections as I was rumaging through my papers trying to decide which ones to use, these 2 happened to land next to each other and i thought hey presto they are perfect..well I think so! The spotty one is from October Afternoon - Bake the Cookies and the blue one is from Scenic route - Roxbury collection, both are Christmas collections. This is Honey the skier from CC Designs which I have coloured with copics, layered her onto a die cut circle which I scalloped with the Stampin Up slit punch and the blue circle at the back of Honey has been embossed with snowflakes. I added white glitter to Honey's hat, jacket and boots and then finished with gems. I needed to fix her skiis as they broke when I was cutting her out...so a repair job!! I also distressed the edge of the brown card.

It's Autumn...

Hello my fellow Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post..yes ..again!! The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is " A change of Season". The sponsor this week is Paper Jewels who will get lucky...well why not take part. For my card I have used this CC Designs stamp as I thought this one fitted well with our challenge...it's very much autumn here in Scotland!! Over at Allsorts the challenge is a song title - so I thought perfect - It's turning to autumn and all the leaves are falling to the ground and this song popped right into my head when I had made this card...The Last leaf..now all you young bloggettes probably won't know that song..I hardly remember it cos I'm not that old either but it reminds of the kind of mod days in the 80's!! oh and it was sung by the Cascades...I coloured the image with copics and layered it onto a die cut circle, I inked the edges of the circ le for a bit of a distressed look...kind of rubbish at that and the papers are from Bella Boulevard which again fitted well.

Mixed Mediums with Paper Sundaes

Welcome Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post...yes working again!! This week over at Paper Sundaes the challenege is to use mixed mediums so you need to use more than one type of colouring medium for example I have used water pencils on top of copics, but you could use chalks, inks, prismacolours, watercolours etc. This week one lucky winner will receive a $25 certificate to use at My Creative Classroom.
For my card I have used papers from Echo Park...which I really like. The stamp is a new stamp I spotted over at Quixotic Paperie I just needed to buy her....isn't she cute and you'll never guess what her name is....well I'll tell you...it's Fiona!! How cool is that...a stamp named after me!! As I said I have coloured Fiona with copics and water pencils. The flower has been cut using my die-namics rolled flower die using a piece of white felt...which worked really well but a pity I stuck it not quite in the right place. I decided it should be over a bit once it had dried but the craft knife wouldn't budge it....at least the glue is strong then!! I also added the strip of lace and the little pearls. Hope you like and I have also entered this card in the following challenges: oh BTW incase anybody is thinking is the stamp named after me...it's not ...just a coincidence!!

this one has new flowers!!

Well my new die arrived so of course I needed to test it out....what do you think...I'm not sure yet. For this card I used Crate Papers - Paper Doll Collection and the image has been coloured with copics. I added ribbon and a ribbon charm but I had to colour the ribbon to match the card...now the flowers were made with my new die-namycs die from My Favourite Things...it's just a spiral and then it's rolled to make this type of flower. I added pearls to the centres of the flowers. I also embossed the backing panel with swirls as I don't have a swirl die...yet. I have entered this card in the following challenges:

Happy Birthday to you....

Another rainy day here...what can I say!! These are new Echo Park papers which I bought last week so I thought today was as good a time as any to use them....now this one was a bit of a disaster but I think I have rescued it....I bought one of the pearl pens from Quixotic and added this to the corners...then I forgot I had done that and stuck my thumb right on top...so I had a brainwave!! i thought I will wait until it is dry an then pick it off...only thing it took some of the paper off too so I had to make the dots slightly bigger than had wanted but I think it looks ok. I have coloured Brigitta and the fence with copics...Brigitta is from All That Scraps and the fence is from Pollycraft. I distressed the edges of the paper and around the circle and added a message which was in my stash...no flowers!! I have entered this card in the challenges below...remember I have candy..
