Beautiful Moments...

I thought I would share my latest creation using the beautiful moments stamp and die set from Gina K.

I watercoloured the background and added a few splashes.  I stamped the branches and die cut them and stamped and die cut the vase.  I layered the vase on top of the leaves.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and added a few enamel dots to finish.

Thanks a bunch...

Howdy folks,

The weather seems to have got a bit milder today, thankfully, I just hope the snow stays away!  Before we go out and about and head for our doggy friendly lunch I thought I would share my latest make.

With my last purchase of Stampin Up goodies I received this stamp set as a freebie...I just love it, it's different but fab...well I think so anyway.

I stamped the carrot layers, added the stalks, some doodles and sequins...so easy and quick!

Hope you like it.

You are dino-mite...

Morning folks,

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge blog.  The theme this fortnight is to make a card for a child.

For my card I used one of the dinosaurs from Whimsy which I coloured with copics, I lightly coloured the base card with blue and added a couple of clouds.

Best Day Ever...

Morning folks,

It's a bit freezing this morning, but I am here with my mid month post for Stamping Sensations.

The theme is to add some sparkle to your makes....you can never have too much sparkle.

We have the 2 prizes below this month, Highlight Crafts Crown and Glory stamp set and Lightly Fluttered die set.

For my card, I stamped this little yacht, and then cut it out and layered on to what is supposed to be the sea. I stamped some birds into the sky and some sequins to finish.

There's something beautiful...

Hi folks,

I have had a couple of days off work, mainly for doggy daycare.  Also got caught up on some chores that have been needing done...and now some time to catch up on some crafting.

My new stamps arrived yesterday and I was desperate to start playing with this one...being Scottish I do love a thistle, my son had thistles at his wedding and they were beautiful, so when I saw this set I knew it was a must!

I stamped the image with black archival ink and did a bit of random colouring, I let it run a bit and then once dry went back in for some more precise shading.  I added some splashes and finished with some sequins and pearls.

Hope you like it.

Let's Celebrate...

Two cards in one day...lol!

I was on a bit of a roll so thought I would make another card with my new Stampin Up set, not sure about this one.

I stamped the sentiment lightly in grey ink, then I stamped the filled in leaf stamp and then the outline leaf...I actually thought the outline fitted over the filled in leaf but it doesn't but I guess it's meant to look like that.  I then die cut one of the leaves and the half circle...not sure if it's meant to be a vase or just a shape lol!  I layered onto a piece of floral paper I had in my stash that matched the vase (that's what I'm calling it).  Of course a few dots and sequins to finish.

Sending Hugs...

Howdy folks,

I treated myself to some Stampin Up stamp sets and this is one of the stamps from the set "Splendid Thoughts".

I love eucalyptus leaves or that style of leafy stamp.  I stamped with archival ink and then coloured with watercolours, I blended a few shades of blue and green to give the look of a real eucalyptus leaf.  I added some tiny splashes, sequins to finish.

Sending a smile...

Happy New Year to one and all and it's time for the first challenge of 2023 over on the Stamping Sensations blog.

The theme this month is "add some sparkle"...remember the main focus should be stamped.

We have the 2 prizes below this month, Highlight Crafts Crown and Glory stamp set and Lightly Fluttered die set.

I had treated myself to this stamp set a few weeks ago and was desperate to try it out. I white embossed the leaves and then stamped and embossed the sycamore seeds in silver sparkle embossing powder.  I then added some distress ink in blue and grey leaving some areas lighter.  I then added some splodges in silver and black (I like the black splodges).  I then added some sparkly sequins to finish.  I am pleased with how it turned out.
