Hello Little Friend

Another quickie before lunch...I coloured this little cutie the other night and now I have added it to a card. The stamp is called " Hello Little Friend" which is from Sugar Nellie. I coloured this one with DI's which did take me ages because of all those fine lines. The papers are from MME - Hattie collection. Oh and did you see...that's right I found my MFT rolled flower die...I hate to admit but I found it at the bottom of my pile of ironing, how on earth it got there I will never know!! i have entered the challenges bwlow.

Thank You...

A quickie this afternoon in between the housework!! I just love this little stamp so I thought I would make good use of her. Now isn't a colour combo I would normally go for but I thought the green and pink looked quite good together. The stamp is from LOTV which I have coloured with DI's...ooh luv them!! Paper Sundaes DT card

Hi my Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post. Hopefully my head is not too bad after my school reunion party last night but I will tell you about that later.

The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is to make an easel card or a twisted easel card. I just stuck to the non twisted variety as twisted looks a bit complicated!!

Dig out the old...

Good morning everybody and my scheduled post...I hope whilst you are reading this that my office has warmed up and the drilling has stopped...it was freezing and noisy yesterday.

The challenge this week over at Dream Valley is "Dig out the old stash to use with your new stash". I have used fairly new papers from MME - Stella Rose collection. The image is of course from LOTV which I coloured with copics and I have had that for a wee while now, the ribbon is from The ribbon Girl and is brand spankin' new and the flower has been cut with a sizzlits daisy die...my very first sizzlits many moons ago. I added some zig zag stitching...not sure if it's a bit much but I am a roll with my sewing machine so lots of stitching.

Happy Mother's Day

Good morning folks....this is early I know but I have lots to do today so a couple of posts first. I sat up til stupid o'clock last night(as Faye would say) finishing this card....I hope my mum will like it...she doesn't do character ones. This is my first card using my new sewing machine...it might me a bit to get used to it as some of the knobs and levers are not in the same place as my old one and it seems to not go right into the corners...so if anybody can give me any tips on how to make it stitch right into the corner rather than it pulling round the corner that would be great. I think I will have a bash at zig zag next....oh I am easy pleased!!
The papers are from MME - So Sophie Charming collection which really are beautiful...may use them a lot over the next couple of week as they are my favourite colours too...brown, green and blue...I just love that colour combo!!
The image is a digi but to be honest I cannot remember where I got it..coloured it with copics and added some glitter. The message is from Hero Arts. I have entered the following challenges.

Oh so girly at Sweet Stampin'

For my card I have used scraps of girly paper....well I think it's girly and I am not sure which company they are. I added some pearls, gems and ribbon...oh and I made that little embellishment...I tried to make it resemble the flower on the Sugar Nellie gal's hair!! I coloured the image with copics and finished off with some spots of glitter.

A quick sassy...

I had stamped and coloured this Sassy the other day but now I have made her into a card. The papers are Echo Park - A Walk in the Park. I coloured Bella Bunting with copics and cut her out and layered her on to the card...added some gems, flowers, glitter and a message. I hope this fits the Stamp something challenge but if it's not funky then just delete it.

Happy birthday...

I folks...well I couldn't wait any longer...I had to use one of the simply sassy stamps I already had for this card. The postie has not brought my new stamps!!!! I also couldn't decide whether to enter the GDT call for the Simply Sassy...so as you can see I have decided....although it's only for 2 months I thought I would give it a bash. For this card I have used BG - Marjolaine papers which I totally love just now. The image is Party Frills - Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy which I have coloured with promarkers. I had a few of these coloured from a few weeks ago as I had entered the Simply Sassy DT Call and was trying to perfect my colouring. I also added some stitching (still a bit wonky!!)and embossing, punch the ovals and finished off with those cute little flowers which are new from Wild Orchid Crafts..oh yes I also added some sequins and beads for the centres of the flowers on the embossed oval....hand sewn!! Paper Sundaes DT card

Well Happy New Year to you all and welcome to the first challenge of 2011 over at Paper Sundaes. The theme this week is "something new"....use a new product that you have.

For my card I have used a Sweet Pea which I received from Val just before christmas but didn't get the chance to use it until now and I coloured the image with copics which can also be purchased here from Michelle's. I made the little poinsetta myself and I stitched those little beads into the centre...well it's supposed to look like a poinsetta!! I finished off with glitter and a message.

Paper Sundaes DT card

Well hello again all you Sundae bloggers. I hope the snow isn't too bad wherever you are. We had it really bad but it seems to be disappearing now thank goodness!! The challenge this week over at Paper sundaes is "anything but a square"...that's right.

Well I was a bit iffy about this as normally the cards I make are square or rectangle however this is what I came up with. I cut the circle using a sizzix die and then layered the papers and card onto that, the papers are from Bo Bunny Midnight Frost collection. Merry Christmas...

A quickie post before X FACTOR!! I wonder who will go tonight....I made this card last night just need to finish off a few bits tonight. The paperts have been in my stash since last winter or possibly the winter before. I downloaded Honey from All that Scraps and coloured her with copics, I added some glitter to her hat, boots and jacket, punched out the snowflakes and added the charm and some glitter.

Puppy Dog Tails...

next one today....whilst I am waiting on the next load of washing finishing(any excuse eh!!) I just love this image....it probably says it all for all little boys. It's Christmas....

This is a quick post before I get ready to head out to the Pie, Peas and Bingo at the school..I think there is wine as prizes but knowing my luck I will either win nothing or I will win the lovely scented soap!! Anyway onto my card....these papers arrived so I thought I would give them a try, they are totally different to the normal papers I would buy but I thought they were lovely too...they are from Fancy Pants and James with his cracker is of course LOTV which I coloured with copics, glittered him him and added a snowflake and kind of message to match.
