Happy Halloween...

 

Hi folks,

Its tme for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog.  This fortnight's challenge is "Halloween"...I do love Halloween!

For my card I have used a background stamp from Simon Says Stamp which I gently inked with white and stamped onto black card.  I then used my cloud edge stencil and made some clouds with white ink.  I then left the background to dry off and then inked and embossed the bats and spiders web. 

I stamped and coloured the Stamping Bella stamp with caran d'ache pencils and fussy cut her out and layered onto the card. The sentiment is from the same stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.Then as usual I added some sequins and gems to finish.

Hi folks,

Well here I have made a couple of cards with some new products i ordered from Simon Says Stamp.  I inked up the image with fadeout ink (love it) and then used my zig clean color brush pens to watercolour the leaves.  Not sure if you can see but the stamped image changes to the colour that it has been coloured...I am so impressed.  I added some splashes of colour and some black splodges...haven't done that for a while and was missing that look.  I then added the sentiment and finished with gems, pearls and sequins.

Thought I would post an image of each of the cards on their own too.

Get Well Soon...

Hi all,

I have been on holiday from work this week and did plan on making a few cards but as always my plans were interrupted however I did manage to make this one.

I love leafy stamps and dies, so bought this stamp and die set from Concord & 9th....ooooohhh it's so nice.

I stamped the turnabout stamp using different inks also from Concord & 9th, added some gems and dots to finish it off.

Sweet Stampin DT card...

 

Happy Saturday...

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog.  This fortnight's theme is "lots of layers".  I thought I would use my favourite sketch that I created a few years ago as it has lots of layers.

I used papers from Simple Stories and layered them onto co-ordinating cardstock, the image is from Stamping Bella which I coloured with my Caran D'ache Luminance pencils (love them).  I die cur the leafy swirl and a dew roses and fixed them to the card.  I finished off with some gems and sequins.

I enjoyed making this card as it did take me back to the early days of my cardmaking.

Sweet friend

 Hi folks..

I bought this stamp a couple of weeks ago and was so desperate to use it...anyway finally I made a start last night and finished it tonight.  I stamped the image onto kraft card using memento ink and then coloured using my caran d'ache luminance pencils.  I did manage to add some highlights with the pencils but still practising that.  I added some doodles and sequins to finish.

Sweet Stampin DT card...

 

Hi folks!

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog.  This fortnight's theme is "Masculine".  Pop over and check out what the rest of the team have made.

Masculine cards are not my best and have been looking for some inspiration for a while....and then I came across this little stamp from Sugar Nellie which I love and for me this was where my love for stamping really started.

I coloured the image using my caran d'ache luminance pencils...they are so delish especially on kraft card, they almost melt, such a joy to work with.  I added a little sentiment and some dots to finish.

Happy Anniversary...

 

Hi folks.

I'm sharing this wee card I made using The Ton Round Foliage window dies ( I love it). I die cut the 2 circles in white, I used my copics and coloured one with shades of blue and the other with shades of green then layered them up.  I added a sentiment, some gems and sequins to finish.

Sweet Stampin DT card...

 

Hi folks!

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog.  This fortnight's theme is "Things with Wings".  Pop over and check out what the rest of the team have made.

For my card I have used stamp and die from The ton called transformation.  I first white embossed the image and wateroloured, I then die cut the butterfly from a separate panel and doodled around the edges. I fixed a piece of acetate to the reverse and then added some 3D foam, it was a bit fiddly adding the sequins but I managed and layered over the coloured image.  I finished off with some splashes, gems and pearls.

Happy Birthday to you...

Hi folks,

I forgot I hadn't posted this card that I had made last week. I cut a piece of card and covered it in vellum and popped some sequins inside, then I fixed it to the card.  I die cut the happy birthday and balloons and layered them onto the card.

Happy Birthday...

Hi everybody!

Thought I would share the card I have made today. I treated myself to some goodies from Simon Says Stamp, including this make up stamp set....there's sooooo many stamps in the set, it's just fab.  I stamped some make up images and embossed with rose gold embossing powder, I then masked them and stamped over the happy birthday background stamp and also embossed with rose gold embossing powder.  I then did some watercolouring with my zip pens, I just randomly dabbled some colour all over.  I white embossed the sentiment but die cut the "you".  I also added a little gold leaf to add a bit of sparkle and to finish I added some pearls, dots and sequins and then finished with some doodling.

Happy birthday...

 

Hi folks!

Well what can I say, as soon as I saw this stamp I knew I needed it....who doesn't love Elvis!  I just loved colouring in this image, I am going to make more :)

I have this quite plain and simple, I coloured Elvis with copics...added some sparkle to the suit cos Elvis loved sparkles, and I used a stencil and sponged some ink on but not over the whole card, just behind Elvis, |I did this so that the white suit would pop.  I finished with some dots and sequins.

Surprise...

Hi everybody..

I coloured this image in last week and never got around to making into a card until today.  I tried to colour with the no lines technique....it has a few lines but I think on the whole it looks ok.  I didn't really have a sentiment that was right but this as I wanted a cake one but had to just go with this..

First Christmas card...

 

Howdy folks!

Well I did actually buy this stamp before Christmas and was gutted that I just didn't have the time to colour it in......well actually this was my 5th attempt as I just couldn't get the sky colour right with my copics and I wanted to persevere and colour with them, I knew I would have managed with watercolours but anyway I ended up making it a night time sky...maybe I should have added a moon too!  This has really motivated me to get back into colouring so here's my first card for Christmas 2021!

I coloured with copics, and there is colour on the snowman but you can hardly see, I added some little silver stars to the sky.

Smile...

Morning everybody, it's a lovely sunny day so I thought I would share this card I made...think it's a bit summery...what do you think?

For this card I  used Summer Citrus from WPlus9 and coloured with my copics.  I cut the images out (don't have the dies) and layered them onto the card using sticky fixers.  I added some gold leaf to the splodges...not sure you can see them as that didn't work out, wasn't quite what I had in mind! I then added some sequins, pearls and gems and doodles to finish...oh the sentiment is from a Concord & 9th set.

Fabulous...

Hey all...I was super excited to get this card made after my new goodies arrived.  I spotted a card on Pinterest which was pretty similar and to where I got my inspiration for this one.

I used the stripe stencil for the background ...I masked it to a piece of watercolour card and lightly coloured it with blue and grey watercolours and once dry I added some splats.  I die cut the image, then stamped it up with versamark ink and white embossed.  I then coloured with the same watercolours and when dry layered it with sticky fixers. I stamped the sentiment and also white embossed the word "fabulous"...finished with some sequins.

Thanks...

Hi folks, here I am with a wee card I made last night.  I ordered some new crafty bits so needed to put them to use straight away!

I stamped up the image and white embossed on to watercolour card and then watercoloured using just 3 colours.  I added some splashes of colour, stamped the sentiment and then added some sequins to finish....oh I also forgot i doodled around the edges too!

Something different...

Howdy folks, well I saw a tutorial over on Youtube on how to use Tim Holtz Lift Ink with alcohol inks and it looked just so amazing so I knew I had to give it a go....and you can make two cards at the same time...so simple just make your inked background using alcohol inks and then I stamped the image onto the background using the lift it ink and voila...

Here's the other...

I do like the inked background, it's so vibrant.  Will defo be making more of these!

Be Positive

Hi folks,

Hope you are having a happy Saturday!

Here's today's make...well I actually made it last week but just getting around to posting it.

The stamp is from Altenew and is called Smile More, I stamped the flowers and them embossed with gold embossing powder, I then cut them out using my scan n cut.

I then coloured the flowers and leaves using Spectrum Noir Aqua markers, I wanted the colours to loo like peacock feathers and it does but not sure you can see that in the photo. I added some splodges and sequins to finish.

A Splash of Colour

Good morning everybody, today I'm sharing my DT card for My Mum's Craft Shop.

For today's card I have used one of the new Altenew stamps called A Splash of Color, I have to say this is a fab set and it's amazing what you can do with the stamps...you know I like a splodge...watch this space!

I inked up of of the stamps with 4 different colours of distress inks, spritzed them with a light spray of water and then stamped onto watercolour card, then colours then bled together.  I repeated another twice.  I then used my distressed patterns stamp to stamp some little black splodges, stamped one of the sentiments included in the set and then added a few sequins to finish.

My first DT card of 2017

Hi folks...my first DT card of 2017!!

Today is my last day before going back to work tomorrow s I made a point of spending most of the day crafting!

I bought this stamp just before Christmas as I thought it was quite versatile and I could do lots with it...I haven't used all of the stamps in the set only the main one, still practising with the others.

The stamp is from Concorde and 9th and is called Hello Lovely.  I stamped onto watercolour card and white embossed.  I coloured the image using my Spectrum Noir Aquablend pencils, I started with the lighter shades and then gradually added until I got the shade I wanted...I wanted it to look quite soft.

I stamped some splodges and the sentiment which are from the same set and then added a few sequins to finish.
