Merry Christmas....

Good afternoon Saturday bloggers...I bet you weren't expecting a card from me today, I'm on holiday from work today but have a bit of a dodgy tummy!! I hope I never caught any bugs from the kids whose faces I was painting last night.....even though the weather was horrendous, it didn't stop the kids and round 2 at the school on Tuesday which will be mega busy and the face painting is always the busiest!!

I thought I would ink up High Hopes - Snowy, I bought him last year and only used him once so time for him to come out again and he has been coloured with copics The papers are from Echo Park - Winter Park and layered onto kraft card. I added a couple of layered snowflakes which were punched with my MS punches, glittered and added a button and twine to the centre, there was just enough room for those teeny pearls...oh and the ribbon!!

Let it Snow....

Good morning bloggers...well it's certainly not snowing here as yet although there is snow further north in Scotland but it is absolutely chucking it down. Last night I took Holly and her friend to the winter wonderland which opened and again it was pouring!! They loved it, there was ice skating, lots of snow and ice type rides and oh hot chocolate and of course the beautiful Christmas lights....twas lovely!! We will be going nearer Christmas again, probably when it is actually snowing but we will have a look around the German Market next time.

So before I get on with some chores i thought I would share my card with I did colour this Santa in last week but didn't really have time to make him into a card so here we are!!

I have used scraps of paper I had in my stash from October Afternoon - Very Merry, the Santa is from Sugar Nellie and I coloured him with copics, I added some sparkle to his furry bits and the added a message and a glitzed up snowflake...hope you like!!

Thank You....

Well hi Bloggers and something a bit different from characters!! As some of you know I hosted a SU party a couple of weeks ago and we did brilliantly and I managed to get quite a lot of hostess pounds...woo hoo!! This stamp is from one of the sets and I have to say I am so chuffed with it especially as it's not my normal kind of stamp but i am loving this little set, it's called Faith in Nature. I coloured the image with DI's and then edged the edged the card with DI too, then I ran it through the Bigshot in a dotty embossing folder, then scuffed some of the raised dots just to lift off some of the ink. I then layered it onto the papers from Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar, added a couple of buttons and the message, which is from the same set....hope you like!!

Remember to pop back tomorrow for the birthday celebrations at Sweet Stampin' and the Simply Sassy blog looks like you are going to be busy tomorrow!!

It's Bella...

Happy's almost the weekend but I am working!! I haven't really done much blogging or crafting this week. We got bad news on Tuesday that my auntie who lives in Italy died. Some of the family are flying over but my dad can't go due to his health problems, he can't fly so it's kind of hit him a bit hard I think because he can't go and because he is 15 years older that my auntie...a bit of a nightmare waiting on information coming from Italy. Anyway ....I felt like a bit of crafting this afternoon and I thought since it is baltic outside, what better than a card with that frosty feel so here we have Snowboardabella, I think that's her name!! I have used Fancy pants - wintertime papers and I have coloured Bella with copics.

Sugar Bowl Challenge #71

Good morning Sugar fans and another challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. This fortnight's challenge is Erika's sketch below....isn't it awesome?? Of course as always there is the optional theme of "patchwork"....the sketch is perfect to make the theme fit so why not give it a go... normal the prize for one lucky winner chosen at random is 4 Sugar Nellie stamps from Funky Kits and as always if there's over 100 entries.....6 Sugar Nellie stamps...woo hoo!

For my card I have used papers from Fancy Pants - Summers End which I layered onto kraft card and then did my patchwork stitching. The stamp is Foxy - Gorjuss Girl which I coloured with copics. I then cut out the image and layered it onto a kraft circle which I have also stitched, I had to do some distressing to the edges as it didn't look quite even...distressing hides a multitude of sins. I then added some white pencil shading around the image. I cut out the felt flowers and leaves with a MFT die-namics and finished with a little message.
