Heavenly Angel

Good morning, and my Sugar Nellie post!

Now here we have another one of the new toppers from Sugar Nellie....gorgeous isn't it??  They come with several on the sheet...they are sooooo adorable and will available soon.

You can also get this cutie in rubber and she's called Heavenly Angel.

The papers were in my stash, I die cut the topper and layered it onto the snowflake doily.  I cut out some snowflakes and covered them in glitter.  I added pearls to the centres of the snowflakes.

More hands make light work...

Good morning folks, hope you are well!!

Now here we have one of the new toppers from Sugar Nellie....gorgeous isn't it??  They come with several on the sheet...they are sooooo adorable and will available soon.

You can also get this cutie in digi format from Funky Kits and she called More hands make light work.

The papers are Basic Grey Evergreen, which are really pretty IRL!  I layered the papers onto bazzill card and doodled around the edges.. The flowers are a mix of pre made ones and my little poinsettia die. I also added red ribbon tied in a bow.  I then added some teeny pearls to finish off.

Remember to check out our challenge over on the Sugar Bowl.

Snowy Postcard...

Well I'm a day late with my Sweet Stampin post!

What a week I have had, to start off with was a bit under the weather, then Thursday into Friday my heating and hot water packed in...jeezo it's baltic!  The gasman was here yesterday but needed to order a circuit board...he's coming back tomorrow to fit it....keep your fingers crossed for me to have hot water and heating tomorrow!!

So this weeks challenge theme is "to die for" do I love my dies so perfect theme for me!

We're sponsored by the fabulous Yours or Mine Papercrafts:

Who are offering a super duper $10 voucher to the store!

So for my card I used distress inks to colour the image and the backing.  First I stamped the stamp twice onto white card stock and cut out the centre oval, I then inked both of these up and then layered them together.  The backing was also inked up and also used cardio stamps to randomly stamp around the edges as I felt it needed something other than just the ink.  The snowflakes are from my die-namics Let it Snowflake set (love them) and the tiny poinsettia die is from poppy stamps.  I also added a bit of ink to the die cuts too.  I added an organza bow and and I made and organza rose for the centre...I added pearls to the centres of the snowflakes and to the corners of the layers....finished with loads of glitter....hope you likey!

New floral digi...

Good morning sugar fans and my Sugar Nellie posting!

Hope you are well!

Now I am sharing this wee card which I made using one of the new digi floral images...isn't she sweet??  You can buy her soon from Funky Kits.

I coloured this little sweetie with spectrum noirs and did a bit of shading with polychromos.  The papers are from LOTV...thought they looked well with the floral digis...yes that's right, there's more!!  I layered the papers and distressed each of the layers and doodled of course.  I added a piece of light blue lace to one of the layers, the flowers and leaves have been cut with die-namics dies.

Pop back tomorrow for some more inspiration.

A Very Merry Christmas...

Howdy I just love this time of year and making my Christmas cards....I have used this LOTV image I had from last year as I was looking for something quickish and there is minimal colouring on this one.  I have used inktense pencils to colour the image and layered it onto black clard and then mounted it onto kraft card.  I added a ribbon and bow and added a wee snowflake charm and flower...oh yes and doodles and pearls were added!!

Shaped cards

Good morning sweet stampers, my goodness it's November!!

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!

Today's challenge over at Sweet Stampin this week is shaped cards....totally out of my comfort zone but needed to make a baby card for a friend and came up with this.

We are sponsored this week by Crafts U Love...

...who are giving a £10 voucher to one lucky winner.

So for my card, I downloaded the shape and traced and cut it out in kraft card and then cut out the papers just slightly smaller and stuck them to the card.  One of the panels is embossed just to give a bit of texture.  I also added a piece of lace across the middle to tidy up the joins in the paper. I also added a wee bow and button to finish off.
