In addition, Gayle and Elaine will also be awarding Eye Candy to some lucky entrants so pop back to the Sugar Nellie blog next Thursday to see if you have been spotted!!

Back to work tomorrow....

Happy Sunday everybody...well I did intend to get more cards made this week whilst I have been on holiday but you know how it is when the schools are off....Holly had me traipsing all over and spending money. although she got bored and fed up once she had eveything she wanted!! Went shopping to Glasgow one day too....I thought it was bad enough shopping with Holly but my mother and Holly on the same day...love them both dearly but omg!! Holly likes to go to Primark, Repbulic, New Look and then you go to the other extreme...the Edinburgh Woollen Mill, which confused Holly as we were in Glasgow. What did I buy....roasting bags from Lakeland, that was me so I think a little bit of internet shopping may be in order later today.

So for my card I have followed the sketch over at A Gem of a challenge although I have tilted it round, I have used papers from Fancy Pants - Summers End, I have layered each of the papers onto bazill card and distressed the edges, the stamp is from Lili of the Valley which I have coloured with copics. I have cut out some felt flowers with my MFT flower trio die which has to be my most favourite die but then you may know that!! I added a ribbon and a bigger bow than I would normally use but I think it looks ok.

I hope to be back shortly with another creation.

Happy Birthday Dad...

Well good afternoon bloggers, thought I would post this just now as I don't have anything else to show you but it will be fine as my dad doesn't look at my blog. It's my dad's birthday next week and this is the card I have made for him. The stamp is Sail Away from Stampin' Up, I coloured the sails with polychromos, there is actually white and a very pale blue in there!! The paper is from Jillybean Soup - Apple cheddar soup and all layered onto kraft. I doodled around the edges too...I quite like that look. I cut those little flags out with my MFT pennants die. The message is from LOTV...oops nearly forgot...I added a charm too.

I have given my blog a makeover yesterday as I had a few followers say they couldn't read the text on my other one, I think when it was on a go slow and the page took a while to load, so this is my first post on my new look blog.

Wish upon a star in autumn...

Morning bloggers....almost the weekend again and I will be back at work :( but never mind somebody's got to do it!! I made this card last night mainly for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge which did actually throw me a bit. The papers are just delish they are Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar and the image is "Wish upon a Star" from Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Funky Kits. I coloured this little sweetie with copics....now I quite like the feathering technique and then blending the colours together and this little skirt is the perfect size to add a few colours too. Although this is a Christmas fairy, I think she could be used anytime of the year but this is mix of autumn and Christmas....hope you likey!!

Paper Sundaes DT card...

Good afternoon Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post.

This is somewhat of a sad post as this is my last card for Paper Sundaes, my time has come to an end :( This was my first DT post and I couldn't believe my luck when I was asked to join the team 1 year ago...yes girlies how the time has flown. This was also the hardest decision ever as it was my first DT post and it will always have a special place in my heart. Paper Sundaes is a fab team to be on and Shana and Christine do a fab job in running the blog, all the girls are great to work with and do an awesome job too....will miss you all so much but I will keep stalking you..

Today's challenge over at Paper sundaes is make a Maggie themed card.

...one lucky winner chosen at random will receive.....

For my card I have use an image that the lovely Debbie stamped for me ages ago, I coloured her with copics. The papers are from MME - Hattie collection, I added some pearls and a ribbon to finish.

Good morning fellow bloggers. Here we are then the last day of my holiday and it's done nothing but rain!! This is the first of my posts today although housework permitting whether I can more posted or not..first of I will share my news since I have had the official email from the lovely Gayle. this is the very last time I can enter The Sugar Bowl Challenge....oh no I hear you say but that's because....you may or may not have seen the post yesterday on The Sugar Bowl, well if you didn't I have been asked to join The Sugar Bowl Design Team...how fab is that?? I am still jumping and clapping and all excited as I love Sugar Nellie stamps so much and this is just perfect...the sugar on the cake!! Thank you so much Gayle, I feel so lucky and honoured to be part of the team!!

So for my card, which is my favourite colour combo...brown, green and blue I have used MME - So Sophie papers, the stamp is Fashionista from Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Funky Kits, I coloured her with copics this time, I punched the scallop border and as I still haven't found my MFT rolled flower die, I have cut those by hand, added a couple of buttons and a message....oh that wonky stitching too!!

Ah, sugar......

Well bloggers...what can I say...looks like my job wasn't done!! I really made this card for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge but somehow it seems to have worked it's way on to the Sugar Bowl too...wonder how that happenend!! Now I couldn't crop this one down as much as I normally would do otherwise half the flower would be missing...

Now then the papers are from Echo Park - Country Drive, the image is Butterfly Girl from Simply Sassy at Sugar Nellie which I coloured with Di's. I also added some ink around the image. I also embossed the butterfly panel and added some ink to that too. I added some stitching aswell since I had extra time and a couple of punched putterflies which I inked aswell....now the flower I hear you ask...yes I did...I cut each of those petals out by hand, the circle in the centre...I used the lid of my tub of face cream as a template...knew it had more use than trying to take the wrinkles out my face!! I went to town on the ink and inked up the petals too....I think it looks really summery!!

Thought I would add a closer up shot of this little cutie!! Hope you like and I have entered the challenges below.
