Not a Christmas card.....

Hey beautiful people on this very miserable day!!  At least I am off work for 2 days but back on Monday, so before I get on with the less important stuff like housework, I thought I would have a little play and here is what I've created.

The stamp is from LOTV which I have coloured with copics (new ones on order), the papers are from MME - lost and Found 3 - Oliver collection...yummy!!  The flowers have been cut using my die-namics rolled royal rose die but I did something a bit different...I layered 2 different coloured die cuts and rolled them together...it gives a two tone look and it does actually look quite good IRL!!  i added lots of glitter and pearls.

All wrapped up...

Good morning blogging fans....brrrr it is cold isn't it??  I was on a roll last night and coloured a few images and made this one into this card....

This was one of my recent buys from LOTV - snow bears...I just couldn't resist it!!  I coloured the image with copics and shaded with polychromos.  the sentiment is also from LOTV, the papers are from MME - Winter Wonderland...I need more of these as they are running out fast!  The snowflakes have been punched with my MS Scandanavian snowflake punch and the smaller one is the arctic snowflake, I glittered them up and added a pearl pen to the centre.  I added a piece of ribbon to finish off.

Have you seen there's a DT Call over at Sweet Stampin'....here!!

Happy Birthday Dad...

Well good afternoon bloggers, thought I would post this just now as I don't have anything else to show you but it will be fine as my dad doesn't look at my blog. It's my dad's birthday next week and this is the card I have made for him. The stamp is Sail Away from Stampin' Up, I coloured the sails with polychromos, there is actually white and a very pale blue in there!! The paper is from Jillybean Soup - Apple cheddar soup and all layered onto kraft. I doodled around the edges too...I quite like that look. I cut those little flags out with my MFT pennants die. The message is from LOTV...oops nearly forgot...I added a charm too.

I have given my blog a makeover yesterday as I had a few followers say they couldn't read the text on my other one, I think when it was on a go slow and the page took a while to load, so this is my first post on my new look blog.

It's Bella...

Happy Friday....it's almost the weekend but I am working!! I haven't really done much blogging or crafting this week. We got bad news on Tuesday that my auntie who lives in Italy died. Some of the family are flying over but my dad can't go due to his health problems, he can't fly so it's kind of hit him a bit hard I think because he can't go and because he is 15 years older that my auntie...a bit of a nightmare waiting on information coming from Italy. Anyway ....I felt like a bit of crafting this afternoon and I thought since it is baltic outside, what better than a card with that frosty feel so here we have Snowboardabella, I think that's her name!! I have used Fancy pants - wintertime papers and I have coloured Bella with copics.

Ah, sugar......

Well bloggers...what can I say...looks like my job wasn't done!! I really made this card for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge but somehow it seems to have worked it's way on to the Sugar Bowl too...wonder how that happenend!! Now I couldn't crop this one down as much as I normally would do otherwise half the flower would be missing...

Now then the papers are from Echo Park - Country Drive, the image is Butterfly Girl from Simply Sassy at Sugar Nellie which I coloured with Di's. I also added some ink around the image. I also embossed the butterfly panel and added some ink to that too. I added some stitching aswell since I had extra time and a couple of punched putterflies which I inked aswell....now the flower I hear you ask...yes I did...I cut each of those petals out by hand, the circle in the centre...I used the lid of my tub of face cream as a template...knew it had more use than trying to take the wrinkles out my face!! I went to town on the ink and inked up the petals too....I think it looks really summery!!

Thought I would add a closer up shot of this little cutie!! Hope you like and I have entered the challenges below.

Dig out the old...

Good morning everybody and my scheduled post...I hope whilst you are reading this that my office has warmed up and the drilling has stopped...it was freezing and noisy yesterday.

The challenge this week over at Dream Valley is "Dig out the old stash to use with your new stash". I have used fairly new papers from MME - Stella Rose collection. The image is of course from LOTV which I coloured with copics and I have had that for a wee while now, the ribbon is from The ribbon Girl and is brand spankin' new and the flower has been cut with a sizzlits daisy die...my very first sizzlits many moons ago. I added some zig zag stitching...not sure if it's a bit much but I am a roll with my sewing machine so lots of stitching.

The sponsor this week at Dream Valley is Digis with Attitude who are offering one lucky winner a $10 gift certificate to use in their store.

Pop over and see what the rest of the DT have created.

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hi all and here we are all back to normal...other than the weather. I am back to normal and my scheduled post cos I am working today. The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is "circles".

Our sponsor this week is Lili of the Valley...so exciting. They are releasing the next batch of stamps on Tuesday but you can get a sneaky peek at them here. So one lucky winner will be jumping for joy.

For my card I have used "It's my Party" and message stamp both from LOTV....she is such a stroppy little minx but sooooo cute!! I have also coloured her with copics. I have used Crate Paper - Paper Doll Collection papers as they fitted well with our challenge this week....circles. I cut the flowers with one of my favourite dies...yes that's right the 3d flower die...I love this!! The image has been cut out and layered onto a die cut circle. I still don't have a scallop die yet so I manually cut the scallops using the Stampin Up slit punch...I am getting to be dab hand at that but one day I will buy a scallop die!! A Christmas angel...

Hi all...I hope you are safe and cosy in this weather. I think the worst of it has passed but there is more snow forecast for next week. First I have to apologise to Sue cos I said I would take some photos of the park along the way a bit...sorry Sue but the snow is still too deep to wade through and now it has gone a bit icy but it's also starting to come off the trees but if it returns next week then I will try again. Let me see what dramas have I had this week...well my wellies burst so I had no other option that to put my hubby's old boots on...they were so cosy...pity I looked a bit like Crusty the clown but who cares at least my feet were dry but they have given me some blisters around my ankles as they were rubbing cos they were tooooo big!! Next drama and please do not laugh....Tuesday night I spotted a giant icicle hanging so I thought I would get it...it was begging me so out I went with the shovel but as I am a small person I couldn't quite reach so I had a brainwave...I stood on a little snow hill and jumped up to attack it with the shovel....the kind of move you would make if you were shooting a basketball into a net... well what a shot,I hit it and it hit me back...right on the nose and it burst my nose and I have a bruise. I couldn't believe how fast it came down as I thought I would see it crack and then fall but no...I wasn't even standing directly under it...so beware of giant icicles!!
Onto the card...I have used papers from Bo Bunny - Midnight Frost collection, I embossed a panel with the same patterned paper, the image is from Sugar Nellie and coloured with copics, I punched the snowflakes, the message is from a CC Designs sentiments set and I added some stickles glitter.

I wanted to try mt sewing machine agian but still have my L plates on for that....Now this card just kind of fell together, the papers are from 2 different collections as I was rumaging through my papers trying to decide which ones to use, these 2 happened to land next to each other and i thought hey presto they are perfect..well I think so! The spotty one is from October Afternoon - Bake the Cookies and the blue one is from Scenic route - Roxbury collection, both are Christmas collections. This is Honey the skier from CC Designs which I have coloured with copics, layered her onto a die cut circle which I scalloped with the Stampin Up slit punch and the blue circle at the back of Honey has been embossed with snowflakes. I added white glitter to Honey's hat, jacket and boots and then finished with gems. I needed to fix her skiis as they broke when I was cutting her out...so a repair job!!
