Just a quickie tonight as I have been so busy today with housework and I am now knacked!! I have used papers from First Edition - Up, Up & Away and the image is Oh La La from Simply Sassy at Sugar Nellie and I have coloured her with copics. I distressed the edges on each of the layers and embossed the circle and then gave it a bit of a rub down so you can see the white coming thorugh....Hope you like!!

I have used papers from MME - Stella Rose Hattie collection. The image is called Flower girl from the Gorjuss Girl range at Sugar Nellie and I have coloured her with copics...she is one of my favourite Gorjusss Girls....I think. I used E49,E47,E37, E57, E29, E35 and E53 for her hair. I also added some flowers cut using my MFT - flower trio die and some buttons. I have entered the challenges below.

For my card I used papers that were in my stash...think they are Papermania. The ribbon was from the same set. Happy Mother's Day

Paper Sundaes DT card

Well hello my blogging buddies and welcome to another Sundae here at Paper Sundaes. The challenge this week is "distressing"....that means you can rip, tear, ink....as long as it's some kind of distressing on your project.

Once again our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp who are offering a $15 certificate for one lucky winner.

For my card this week, I have used Basic Grey - Marjolaine DP...loving these just now. I inked up the edges of the papers and layered them onto brown bazill card which I frayed around the edges. The stamp is Tilda which you can buy online here at Simon Says Stamp, I cut her out and layered her onto a digi stump from CC Designs...coloured both with promarkers....making use of my new large collection which I won a few weeks ago!! The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts...I think I am getting a bit hooked on these too!! I also added some distress ink to the flowers and then added some gems and a message.

A Christmas angel...

Hi all...I hope you are safe and cosy in this weather. I think the worst of it has passed but there is more snow forecast for next week. First I have to apologise to Sue cos I said I would take some photos of the park along the way a bit...sorry Sue but the snow is still too deep to wade through and now it has gone a bit icy but it's also starting to come off the trees but if it returns next week then I will try again. Let me see what dramas have I had this week...well my wellies burst so I had no other option that to put my hubby's old boots on...they were so cosy...pity I looked a bit like Crusty the clown but who cares at least my feet were dry but they have given me some blisters around my ankles as they were rubbing cos they were tooooo big!! Next drama and please do not laugh....Tuesday night I spotted a giant icicle hanging so I thought I would get it...it was begging me so out I went with the shovel but as I am a small person I couldn't quite reach so I had a brainwave...I stood on a little snow hill and jumped up to attack it with the shovel....the kind of move you would make if you were shooting a basketball into a net... well what a shot,I hit it and it hit me back...right on the nose and it burst my nose and I have a bruise. I couldn't believe how fast it came down as I thought I would see it crack and then fall but no...I wasn't even standing directly under it...so beware of giant icicles!!
Onto the card...I have used papers from Bo Bunny - Midnight Frost collection, I embossed a panel with the same patterned paper,the image is from Sugar Nellie and coloured with copics, I punched the snowflakes, the message is from a CC Designs sentiments set and I added some stickles glitter.

Merry Christmas...

I have been quiet the past couple of days as I haven't been feeling well...still don't feel 100% but being a mother you just have to get on with it!! I have made this card using Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers, the snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart punches, the tags are from Stampin' Up tiny tags which I stamped and punched, the message was stamped but I masked off the full message as it was too big to fit and the image is from All That scraps and coloured with copics. To finish off I added glitter to the snowflakes and the trims on Darby's boots, jacket and hat.

Sweet little fairy...

Well since the fireworks are going off like mad and our pooch is scared and wants to hide in my craft room...I thought I would join her..so made this while we were in there!! The papers are Fine and Dandy from My Mind's Eye, and the image is from LOTV. Debs sent me this stamped image ages ago..thanks Debs but I have just got round to using it now. I coloured this little fairy with copics and added some glitter....not sure if you can see that. I made the flowers with the MFT rolled flower die, and the added the bow, button and message..hope you like it and I have entered this card in the following challenges.

Paper Sundaes DT card

I love this little bear so much!!

Well I have been on a roll over the past few days with these LOTV stamps...aren't they just great....I hope they have a stand at the SECC at the end of the month!! Now..the stitching...I thought I would have a go again and real stitching but it's a hit or miss...I started off not bad but then I thought I was driving a car and I speeded up and started to go a bit all over the place...that's why I don't drive...lol!! I even stitched the circle...look how squint it is...but I think it adds to the vintage look I was aiming for...hmm. The papers are from Fancy Pants and James is of course from LOTV which has been coloured with copics and I finished with some glitter and 3 snowflake buttons...as I don't have a snowflake punch or die small enough...next on my buy list!!

It's Christmas....

This is a quick post before I get ready to head out to the Pie, Peas and Bingo at the school..I think there is wine as prizes but knowing my luck I will either win nothing or I will win the lovely scented soap!! Anyway onto my card....these papers arrived so I thought I would give them a try, they are totally different to the normal papers I would buy but I thought they were lovely too...they are from Fancy Pants and James with his cracker is of course LOTV which I coloured with copics, glittered him him and added a snowflake and kind of message to match. I have to says to my friends for visiting Carly's blog and leaving her some love...she's so chuffed so if you haven't popped over then you know you can. Christmas in August....

Hi everyone..well feeling better..especially after my new Lili of the Valley stamp arrived...think I may need to get a few more! The papers I had in my stash from last year or maybe even the year before...so I thought I would use them up to make some room for all the new Christmas papers have my eye on. Anyway..these papers are Heidi Grace - Frost Boulevard and they are very pretty but this is all the scraps I have left so you can't really see how lovely they are. I coloured James and his crackerwith new Promarkers(still need more as the colours I bought are all a bit dark) and then touched up with waterpencils...it is very therapeutic...isn't it Lindsey?? I layered the image onto an embossed panel circles and also added a ribbon and the merry christmas charm which I totally forgot I had and of course a few snowflakes....can't have Christmas without snowflakes!! My Beautiful Sweet Pea and Paper Sundaes DT Card

Welcome to another Sunday and my scheduled post...and the challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is Crystal's sketch. This week we are sponsored by Paper Jewels, they have masses of fabby products in their store.

For my card I have followed Crystal's sketch and I know you are thinking...here we go again another one of those cards but I love this image and personally I think it works well with these papers and I just love the butterfly which I have layered to give a 3d look. First I distressed the edge of the card with ink....the papers are Crate papers - Brook collection and the image is a sweet pea and coloured with copics. I added 2 swirly/rolled flowers which were die cut using my new dy-namics die and a message then added some glitter to the flowers and around the edge of the card. Twas the night before Christmas....

A quickie before bed..well I have another to post too so 2 quickies.. I am going to try to make some crimbo cards most weeks so I don't have a rush at Christmas time. The papers I have used on this card are fom MME which I really like. I'm not sue what make this stamp is...lost the packet but it's a set I bought at the Paper Mill...stretchy snowmen and stretchy hats...you can make them fat and jolly or tall an skinny...so this one is kind of in between. Just for the Boys!!

Eventually I finished this card...this is the 3rd attempt..first one was too big for the card, the second one was a bit naff...Helen at work asked me to make her a card to give to her boyfriend...mwah mwah ...ooh they're so sweet!! I have made this quite plain all grey, blacks and white which was the requirements Helen gave so it fits a few challenges. I coloured the image with copics and added some white coarse glitter to give the beer a frothy look and layered it onto grey card and patterned paper which I had in my stash...finished with some stars which I cut with the sizzix...oops nearly forgot...

The sun is trying to come out so before it does I thought I woudl make a quick card...not sure about it though. The theme for Die dut Dreams was Vintage or no colouring..not sure about Vintage but it hasn't been coloured, so if it doesn't meet the challenge then it's ok I thought I would post it anyway. I also tried to add the pleated ribbon which took me ages as this is something I've never tried before but I've seeen it on lots of cards an is really effective....this was very challenging!! Happy Birthday

I forgot I had these Stampin' Up Papers...they go perfect with this image and I love cherries. I coloured Emma with copics and touched up the toadstools and the cherries on her top with some glitter and then stamped the birthday message....oh and I addd some ribbon.
