Happy birthday to you...

 Hi folks,

Well it's the boss's birthday coming up and this is what I have made her, I hope she likes it.

I just love this flower stamp from Gina K...so I decided to use it and stamped and white embossed it onto watercolour card, then I masked it off and stamped and white embossed the birthday text.  I then randomly added some watercolours, I wanted some subtle colouring but some areas I wanted it to be more vibrant.  I added some spalshes of colour too, not that you can see those splashes unless you zoom in. I samped the sentiment, die cut the numbers and the word "you" in rose gold foil card and layered those onto the card.  I added some dots, gems and sequins to finish.

Happy Christmas...

Morning folks, I'm here with my mid month post.

The challenge over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge blog this month is to use your favourite colours, please remember to use at least one element of stamping.

This is the prize up for grabs this month.

Four A5 stamp sets from Highlight Crafts, two winners each receiving two sets.

For my card I stamped and white embossed the snowflake background, I then masked off the centre section and added some watercolours, I then added more colour to some of the snowflakes that sit outside of the centre panel.  I added some gems, splashes and the die cut sentiment to finish.

Have a zesty birthday!

Hi folks,

Thought I would share this card I made...it has taken me a few days to work out how to work the embossing, stamping and dies together but I am quite happy with how it turned out....might try some pink grapefruit next lol!

The set is from Stampin Up, first I embossed the fruit, then I stamped the fruit on top of the embossed panel...this was tricky lining it up and then again tricky lining up the dies to cut the fruit out.  I stamped little flowers in the background and layered the fruit on top, I added the sentiment and some sequins and enamel dots to finish...no splodges this time!

Jingle all the way...

Hi folks

It's time for a mid month reminder of our Christmas in November theme over on the Stamping Sensations blog this month.  Our sponsor is Be Creative who are giveaway a £25 store voucher. In addition there's also a lovely die set up for grabs too.

I wanted to use this little Santa and then I had a brainwave that I would make Santa look like he's bursting through the wall...well that was the plan in my head!

I used a brick wall stencil from MFT and the Santa from the Jingle all the way set from MFT too.  I coloured the Santa with copics, added some white glitter to his beard and fur...finished with the usual sequins etc.

Pop over to the Stamping Sensations blog to check out what my teamies have made.

Just chicken in...

I'm on a roll today...

I saw this cute little stamp set over on the Dies to Die for store but needed some inspiration on what to make.  I had a wee look and saw something similar to this although it was way better than my effort but I still like with how this turned out.  Going to send this to a friend, I'm sure she will like it.

Hope you like.

Hey...

Hi everybody...hope you are all safe and well.

I am sharing this little card I made, it's quite plain and simple however it did take me a couple of days to colour so I really wanted that to be the focus of the card.

I treated myself, since I have not been able to do some of the things I like to do because of lockdown so I bought myself some Caran D'ache Luminance pencils.  I did do a bit of research on all the colouring pencils and I wanted something different to what I already have. So I went for these and although they are a bit more expensive I bought a smaller set to start with.  I had a play around colouring on white card and on kraft card to see what gave the best results and to be honest it looked great on both once I had mastered the best way of colouring.  At first I was being quite gentle with them but soon realised that I needed a bit of pressure when colouring.  I did have to sharpen them a couple of times to keep the lead on the pencil sharp but it only needed a tiny bit sharpening. So deciding on what to colour...I desperately wanted to colour one of these Whimsy dragons and with Easter coming up I thought this one with the egg was perfect although have made a birthday card ha ha!

I am loving them and I will spend more time colouring with them and this is what I have created to share with you today.

Hope you like.

Some pretty flowers...

Hi everybody, hope you are all well!
*sigh!

So today I decided to do a bit of watercolouring...I think I love these stamps and I think I love watercolouring!! This is so easy to do and you don't have to be great at colouring...Ijust love the effect, it's fab!

First, here's a wee close up...

So first I cut a piece of watercolour card and then white embossed the flowers, I actually had to mask them so I could overlap...that actually took me longer to cut and mask than it did to colour!

Edited: forgot to say the stgamps are from Tim holtz Flower Garden set.

Then I started colouring with my watercolour pens, starting with the lightest to darkest and just gradually adding colour until I got the shade I wanted.

I added a sentiment and some sequins to finish.

Next post today is this little creation I made following Dena's tutorial on Facebook on the Lili of the Valley Virtual Christmas party page.  I did get lost a bit however when I saw Dena's finished card i knew where I was going and finished the card today.

I have used papers from Carta Bella - winter Fun, edged with lace, the stamp is from LOTV which I coloured with copics and glittered a bit, I punched some snowflakes and glittered them up and I cut out the tree and glittered that up too.  I added pearls to the centres of the snowflakes to finish off.

This is what the inside looks like although it's not a brill photo but can get the gist of it and you can get full instructions from Dena here.

ooh...snowflakes galore!!

Good morning Sunday bloggers....yes I know it's early for me however I have lots to do today so better crack on.

I pottered away with this last nigh and I hear you say...oh no not that stamp again but I love it and there will be more...lol...not sure if it's just too much but I have seen lots of beautiful cards using the TH snow flurries die so  thought I would try it.

I have used papers from Echo Park - Winter Park, the snowflakes are TH snowflurries and MS snowflake punch.  The trees are cut from my new Distinctively Dee's snow covered trees...this comes in layers so you can make them which ever size you want really....I covered the snowflakes and trees with silver stickles and I added some pearls made with ice white pearl pen to the centres of the snowflakes. The image is Festive Friends from Sugar Nellie which I have coloured with copics....added some glamour dust to the furry bits of Santa and finally the message is from LOTV.
