Happy Birthday...

Morning folks,

My first post since returning from our holiday which was great although I caught covid when I was away so the last couple of days was a bit rubbishy however the weather was fab and we did cram in lots of beach walks....can't wait to go back in December and next May, here's a couple of photos...

My nephew had his telescope and we managed to see a few stars and even saw the craters in the moon but he managed to take a photo of saturn through his telescope...it was quite amazing!

It's time for the mid month post over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  The theme this month is anything stamped goes with the option of garden delights.

This month the prize up for grabs is £25 Stamp Addicts voucher.

I thought I would try something different....so I stamped the poppies onto grey polka dot paper using red and black.  I stamped the verse also on the same paper then layered it onto black card and then layered on the card panel.  I added a birthday sentiment and some dots and sequins to finish.

Thanks...

Morning folks,

Hopefully my post schedules ok as I'm on my holidays, it's been a long awaited one after a rubbishy year that we have had, hopefully we have some good weather to chill in.

It's time for a new challenge over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  The theme this month is anything stamped goes with the option of garden delights.

This month the prize up for grabs is £25 Stamp Addicts voucher.

For my card I thought I would try something a bit different for me...I first stamped the flower with memento ink and coloured with copics.  I then masked the flower and inked up the background with green and blue distress inks.  Next I used a stencil and coloured with a darker blue, then I used a dot stencil and inked up with white.  I stamped up some random lines/grid behind the flower head.  I added some splashes of white paint.  Once dry I unmasked the flower and added some sequins and dots...oh and I stamped the sentiment and layered that on top....I'm quite happy with how this has turned outy.

Good morning Sweet Stampers....my post is scheduled as I am on my holidays...hopefully it goes according to plan!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog.

The theme is "doodling"....my favourite!

I stamped the flowers onto watercolour card and coloured them using my zig pens, I added some background watercolouring too.  I added some white splashes, some little doodled hearts and some sequins....finished with the doodled border around the edges of the card.

A bunch of daisies...

Morning folks,

It's time for another challenge over on the Less is More Challenge blog.

The them this fortnight is anything goes...but still has to have the CAS feel to it.

For my card I embossed the daisies, added a little colour to the centres and cut out a square section.  I then layered that onto a white square and layered onto to card.  I added the sentiment to finish.

Morning

Time for a new challenge over on the Less is More Challenge blog.

This fortnight the theme is "orange" but remember it should still be CAS too.

For my card I stencilled this flower off the side of the card for a bit of a different look, then stamped the sentiment and die cut it to layer on top and added a couple of enamel dots to finish.

Pop over to the Less is More Challenge blog to check out the others.

It's a sunflower day...

Morning folks,

I'm her with my mid month post for Stamping sensations.

The theme this month is the mood board below but remember the main focus should be stamped.

We also have the fab prize below to giveaway to one lucky winner.

2 prizes, Santoto Gorjuss girls stamps/die/stickers and Woodware stamp Craft Stash

For my card I stamped the large sunflower with memento ink, it took a few attempts as I just couldn't it to stamp evenly, this still has a little missed part from the centre but I coloured it to make it look like the light is hitting that spot.  I coloured this image with copics...I haven't used my copics for a bit so it was good to colour with them again.  I actually used four different shades of yellow, four different shades of brown a three different shades of blue.  I added some little splashes which I kind of regretted afterwards but I think it still turned out ok. I also added some sequins.
