Birthday Wishes...

God morning folks,

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog.  This fortnights challenge is "favourite colour combo".
You can make anything you want using your favourite colour combo as long as there has been some stamping.

For my card I used one of the stamps from one of my favourite stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp which I stamped with black archival ink and coloured with a selection of blue and green watercolour ink.  I did some blending on some of the leaves to give them a bluey green look. Once dry I added some splashes, then a few sequins.  I stamped the sentiment and layered on top.
Hope you like it.

Thank you...

Hi folks,

I thought I would share this card I made at the weekend, I was just really experimenting and surprised myself with this one.  I saw something similar on Pinterest and thought I would have a go.

So first I sprayed my card lightly with a mist of water, then I painted watercolour ink onto the butterfly stamp and stamped onto the card.  I then tilted the card and sprayed it again so the watercolour ink would run and mix together....I did get a bit heavy handed so had to soak up some of the ink.  Once the image was dry I added some splashes of colour and also some white paint splashes and finished with some dots ands sequins.  I then layered the sentiment on top.

Life is better with friends...

Morning folks, it's time for a new challenge on the Stamping Sensations challenge blog.

This month's theme is "feminine", you make anything as ling as there's stamping on your creation.

Our sponsor this month is ....

Stamp Addicts is a family run business based in Bedfordshire and have been in business since 1992. We have watched the popularity of rubber stamping and all papercrafts steadily increase over time and now manufacture our own branded rubber stamps which frequently feature on Hochanda TV as well as exhibiting at craft shows across the UK.

We also have these extra goodies up for grabs too..

For my card I stamped the leave image using blue and grey ink, I stamped some of them a couple of times so the image was a bit feinter in some parts. I then stamped and embossed with silver and die cut the image and layered that on top.  the sentiment has been white embossed.  I finished with a couple of sequins.

Pop over to the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog to see the fab cards my teamies have made.
