Good morning sugar fans and here we have the launch of the next batch of Sugar sweetness...they are just Crimbo fantastic!!

As normal we are having a hop to celebrate the launch of the new stamps however the Sugar Bowl DT are joining in and sharing some of the current Christmas images which are still available whilst the Sugar Nellie team are sharing the new images which are available at

Funky Kits....

Please remember to leave a comment on every blog if you want to be in with a chance of winning some yummy candy!!

So you should have arrived here from the lovely Wendy's blog, if you haven't then you need to pop back to the Sugar Nellie blog to the start of the hop.

For my card I have used Festive Friends which I have coloured with copics, I added glitter to the furry bits on Santa's hat, the papers are Fancy pants Hot Chocolate...which I just love.  I layered the papwers onto kraft card and I distressed each of the layers.  I punched a couple of snowflakes and glittered them up.  I threaded a piece of thick twine around one of the layers and fixed with huge button and then finished with some pearls.

Round 2 of spring...unless it snows again...

Good morning bloggers...well isn't this weather a bit weird?? It was spring a couple of weeks ago and then it went back to winter last week when the snow and wind came back with avengeance so hopefully we are now back on track for some lovely spring weather although as I am scheduling this post..it is raining!!

Today's challenge over at Cupcake Craft challenges is "spring is in the air"...nice and easy. I have used papers from Echo park - springtime and Lilybeedesigns - Buttercup. I have layered the papers onto Bazzill card. The stamp is from Lili of the Valley which I coloured with copics and I then added some shading with polychromos. The sentiment is also from LOTV...rather plain and simple today.

Hi folks...I'm back. I would just like to say a huge thanks for everyones lovely comments whilst Holly was in hospital, she was discharged late on Saturday afternoon and is on the mend.

I have used MME - Fly a Kite papers collection. The stamp is one of my favourite boy stamps from LOTV and I coloured him with copics. I added a couple of clouds which were cut using a MFT die-namics cloud die and I made the sun with a sizzix daisy and chopped off the ends of the petals, I added a little sizzix star.

The sponsor this week is Lili of the Valley who are offering one lucky winner...

We also have our monthly sponsor who is Prairie Fairie....

Housework yesterday...boring and then I had a funeral this morning but then went for lunch with Lou and then more housework this afternoon...thought I would wash everything in sight since it was nice and I was able to hang the washing outside today and even better..it's all dry!!

So a quickie before I head to Tesco...the papers are from the nitwits collections and the image is from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics and then did a bit shading with my pencils. The flowers have been cut with a MFT flower die-namic die with some pearls added to the centres. Ichalked the clouds onto the oval and some little birds and layered it onto the scallop oval...which I cut by hand with my little Stampin Up slit punch. I have entered the following challenges.

The image is Penelope from CC Designs...Stamp & Create lots of CC Designs stamps. I coloured Penelope with copics. The snowflake has been punched with the Martha Stewart Scandanvian Snowflake punch..love it!! I stuck a jumbo gem in the middle for some extra glitz and I added some glitter to finish off....I am quite chuffed with this one.

Christmas angel...

Good morning fellow bloggers and those of you who are off to the NEC...so lucky. I might save my pennies for the NEC next time instead of the SECC. You must tell me what it's like. I am hoping that I can get a couple of cards done today but Holly is off scholl unwell so she is still sleeping just now but she is a hard patient and lays it on worse than it really is...I almost have to be by her side tending to her every demand.."can I have a driiiink", "can you change the channel on the telly", "can you fluff up my pillows"...that's how it will go the full day....she has a sore throat!!
So the is the first one today...the snowflake papers are from Fancy Pants and the digi image is from CC Designs and I coloured this cute little angel with promarkers and then just done some shading on top with waterpencils. The snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart punches...Love them!! I finished off with gems and glitter...hope you like!!

Think Pink

As it is Breast Cancer Awareness month I thought I would make this card. We probably all know somebody who has been affected by cancer in one or another. I made a card similar to this last year for my mum to give to her friend and she loved it and treasured it...I hope you love it too. I used the embossing plate and sizzlit die from the sizzix pink ribbon kit which is perfect for making little fundraising items!! I also wanted the embossed words to be seen rather than having an image cover them up...so I added some pink chalk to enhance the embossing...finished with some ribbon and 3 little gems. I have entered this card in the Stamp & Create Challenge...not sure if I need a stamped image but this one was more about the card than the challenge as I am sending this card to Lacey's friend.

My Beautiful Sweet Pea and Paper Sundaes DT Card

Welcome to another Sunday and my scheduled post...and the challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is Crystal's sketch. This week we are sponsored by Paper Jewels, they have masses of fabby products in their store.

For my card I have followed Crystal's sketch and I know you are thinking...here we go again another one of those cards but I love this image and personally I think it works well with these papers and I just love the butterfly which I have layered to give a 3d look. First I distressed the edge of the card with ink....the papers are Crate papers - Brook collection and the image is a sweet pea and coloured with copics. I added 2 swirly/rolled flowers which were die cut using my new dy-namics die and a message then added some glitter to the flowers and around the edge of the card. The image is of course from Meljens Designs which has been coloured with copics...I also added a bit of highlighting with watercolour pencils. I layered it onto a scallop circle which I made using the Stampin' Up slit punch as I don't have a scallop die...takes a bit of practise but I am getting the knack of it now. I also added a piece of lace underneath the image. The flowers I had in my stash and were the perfect colour to match the paper...I hope...and I added 3 buttons to the centres of the cluster of flowers, finished with a little message.
