Best Day Ever...

Good morning folks and a wee scheduled post this morning. when I say best day ever...I don't mean that I am having the best day ever, that's the name of this little stamp from Sugar Nellie...isn't she sweet?? I have coloured this little cutie with polychromos....still more practice needed. I have used papers from Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar Soup and they are almost all gone but I will need to buy more as I lurve these papers. Yes again I have doodled and layered onto kraft. I added a ribbon and a bow and some gems.

Whilst I am working hard at work I hope my hubby has returned my new coat I bought yesterday. Put it on last night and the security tag is still on it. The shop assistant was too busy blethering and I didn't notice she hadn't taken it off...anyway my bargain £75 reduced to £20....all the more pennies for crafty goodies.

Happy Mother's Day

Good morning folks....this is early I know but I have lots to do today so a couple of posts first. I sat up til stupid o'clock last night(as Faye would say) finishing this card....I hope my mum will like it...she doesn't do character ones. This is my first card using my new sewing machine...it might me a bit to get used to it as some of the knobs and levers are not in the same place as my old one and it seems to not go right into the corners...so if anybody can give me any tips on how to make it stitch right into the corner rather than it pulling round the corner that would be great. I think I will have a bash at zig zag next....oh I am easy pleased!!
The papers are from MME - So Sophie Charming collection which really are beautiful...may use them a lot over the next couple of week as they are my favourite colours too...brown, green and blue...I just love that colour combo!!
The image is a digi but to be honest I cannot remember where I got it..coloured it with copics and added some glitter. The message is from Hero Arts. I have entered the following challenges.

Paper Sundaes DT card and candy winners

Hello all my Sundae bloggers and my once again scheduled post....yes working and I will be tired too cos I had a late night on Friday and then up early yesterday and today and last night my mum was having a buffet night as my cousins are over from Italy so it was a kind of farewell thingy as they are heading home today but the next batch are hopefully coming over in March. The Christmas party on Friday was great and even better when you don't spend any money so I had to make good use of all the free drink...lol!! Managed work yesterday but was mega tired so I had an early night last night when I came home from my mums...back to normal today.

The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is "Valentines"....mwah,mwah, mwah!! Our sponsor this week is Pink Cat Studio...so many fab stamps and digi images to choose from.

For my card I used Bo Bunny - Crush papers....so perfect for luvvy duvvy things!! The image and sentiment are from Pink Cat Studio and I have coloured them with promarkers. I added lots of gems and glitter to spruce it up a bit!!

Happy birthday...

I folks...well I couldn't wait any longer...I had to use one of the simply sassy stamps I already had for this card. The postie has not brought my new stamps!!!! I also couldn't decide whether to enter the GDT call for the Simply Sassy...so as you can see I have decided....although it's only for 2 months I thought I would give it a bash. For this card I have used BG - Marjolaine papers which I totally love just now. The image is Party Frills - Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy which I have coloured with promarkers. I had a few of these coloured from a few weeks ago as I had entered the Simply Sassy DT Call and was trying to perfect my colouring. I also added some stitching (still a bit wonky!!)and embossing, punch the ovals and finished off with those cute little flowers which are new from Wild Orchid Crafts..oh yes I also added some sequins and beads for the centres of the flowers on the embossed oval....hand sewn!! I have entered the following challenges.

Merry Christmas...

I have been quiet the past couple of days as I haven't been feeling well...still don't feel 100% but being a mother you just have to get on with it!! I have made this card using Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers, the snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart punches, the tags are from Stampin' Up tiny tags which I stamped and punched, the message was stamped but I masked off the full message as it was too big to fit and the image is from All That scraps and coloured with copics. To finish off I added glitter to the snowflakes and the trims on Darby's boots, jacket and hat.

for a special friend...

well...what a miserable day..it's baltic, windy and rainy..mega rainy infact!! Holly will not be happy when she comes home from school as she will be soaked...wouldn't take a brolly with her..probably too windy anyway!! Eventually her new straighteners came yesterday so it was the first time for about 2 weeks that she hasn't been moaning about how horrible her hair is and she seemed to forget about her sore foot!! She hurt her foot yesterday morning and she thinks she has broken it...she hasn't cos she can still walk and was able to go out after school with her friends...she is some drama queen I tell you!! Anyway onto my card...I have actually made a few today...trying to get ahead cos it's nearly crimbo time and I will have to hit the shops although I do most of my shopping online...oh yes back to the card...mmm not sure about it. Sweet little fairy...

Well since the fireworks are going off like mad and our pooch is scared and wants to hide in my craft room...I thought I would join her..so made this while we were in there!! The papers are Fine and Dandy from My Mind's Eye, and the image is from LOTV. Debs sent me this stamped image ages ago..thanks Debs but I have just got round to using it now. I coloured this little fairy with copics and added some glitter....not sure if you can see that. I made the flowers with the MFT rolled flower die, and the added the bow, button and message..hope you like it and I have entered this card in the following challenges.

Puppy Dog Tails...

next one today....whilst I am waiting on the next load of washing finishing(any excuse eh!!) I just love this image....it probably says it all for all little boys. This is the kind of thing my brother would have been up to when he was little!! The image is from Sugar Nellie - Puppy Dog Tails, which has been coloured with copics and then I have added a touch of shading with waterpencils and the papers are from Kaisercraft - Jungle Bug Collection.

It's Autumn...

Well I am not happy as this virus is not for shifting from my PC so still using Michael's laptop...nightmare!! I have spent most of the afternoon making this card...think I like paper piecing...it's very therapeutic and these sugar Nellie stamps are really good for that...well I think so. Birthday girl...

Anothe card fom me today...well seeing I am holiday from work...lol. I made this card for a couple of challenges...again I tried shading and blending but the bottom part of the dress looks a bit iffy!! Paper Sundaes DT card

Well hi all...I'm so excited today as this is my first card on the Paper Sundaes DT. I am so chuffed to be part of the DT as it is one of the challenges that I like to take part in most weeks as it's always so much fun!! The challenge this week is to include stitching and is also sponsored by Belles & Whistles. Pop on over to the Paper Sundaes challenge blog to take part this weeks challenge. The papers I have used in my card are from Scenic Route which is not a brand I have used before but when I saw these ones .....well need I say more?? The image is Beary Big Hugs...so cute which is from Belles & Whistles and I have coloured with copics to match the paper, the flowers I cut with the sizzix 3d flower die...my favourite gadget at the moment although I have another on order so might be some competition there. Uptown Angel

Just gorjuss!!

What a great weekend...yesterday it was Procession day here in Bathgate...lots of decorated floats, bands, flower girls, rainbow girls etc. Holly's friend was the Flower Queen...she was beautiful!! It was so hot I got burnt and I don't normally burn, Holly was ok as she was covered up cos she's so fair!! Today was skyfest...family fun day and the heaven's opened and the rain couldn't have came down any heavier but it didn't spoil the fun....lots of events were under cover...but the highlight for Holly was to see Stacey Solomon singing...what a treat!! I have my second wind now and a wide awake so I thought I would make this card...might have to retake the photo in daylight. The backing papers are crate Papers and the Gorjuss girl has been paper pieced which I have to say I am enjoying doing..this is the third time and it is very therapeutic, I masked off her fae and sprayed the hair with copics...thought I would try shading her hair differently and then coloured her face, I added sequin flowers to the stamped image aswell to give additional sparkle, punched the message an the flowers and also added black an white ribbon and glitter.

I'm not sure if I've went a bit overboard with the stickles but I thought it matched...Mandy sent me this adorable Tilda along with a bundle of others...thanks Mandy...you should what she does with hers...beautiful!!
