Happy Birthday...

 Good morning folks,

           So, it's time for a new challenge over on the Sweet Stampin challenge Blog.

The theme this fortnight is Birthday girls.  I had bought this new stamp a few weeks ago but haven't had the chance to use it....I thought it would be perfect for a girl.

I stamped the image with memento ink and coloured with copics, I have really neglected my copics so it was good getting them back out again.  I added some little splashes, a couple of enamel dots and some glitter to finish off.

Sweet friend

 Hi folks..

I bought this stamp a couple of weeks ago and was so desperate to use it...anyway finally I made a start last night and finished it tonight.  I stamped the image onto kraft card using memento ink and then coloured using my caran d'ache luminance pencils.  I did manage to add some highlights with the pencils but still practising that.  I added some doodles and sequins to finish.

Winter sports...

Oops...forgot to post this!!

For my card I have embossed the white backing card, the image is a pre coloured image from LOTV...I added some highlights to it though!!  I punched a couple of snowflakes and glitzed them up with stickles and a little card candi dot....oh and yes doodled!!

Sweet little birthday..

Howdy blogging fans...well it's another fairly sunny but not warm day here in Scotland...but fine for the washing!!
I started colouring this little cutie last night and now it's made into a card. I love these LOTV fairies, they are adorable.
So the stamp and sentiment are both from LOTV which I coloured with copics, the papers are Fancy Pants - Summer Soul which I layered onto bazzill card, I then added some stitching and distressed the edges. I added a piece of lace just for a change instead of ribbon. The flourish is a Do Hickey die and the rolled roses are cut from a MFT die-namics die, I added 2 little pearls and finished with lots of glitter to the wings, feelers and ribbon...not that you can see it very well in the photo.

Little birdie love....

Hi folks and my second post today!! I couldn't wait to ink up this little cutie but I had a bit of a bother getting her as she slipped out of her packaging and went AWOL in the post along with some buddies...all safe and sound now!!

I have made this card for Michael to give to his girlfriend on Valentines Day...I hope they both like it.

So for this card I used my brand new papers from Fancy Pants - Love Collection...delish!! The stamp is from Personal Impression and is called Bluebird's proposal although I have made it pink....mmm perhaps I should have made it blue for a boy, oh well never mind!! I coloured the stamp with copics. I added some pom pom ribbon, felt flowers and hearts which were die cut, oh and also a couple of buttons threaded with black twine....bought all these from Sew Sweet. I cut the message from the same papers and finished off with some pearls. Forgot about the stitching and I tried something a bit different to kind of match in so I made it look like a heart beat.....well it's supposed to!

This one is for you...Faye...If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake..

When I saw this image I just I had to have it...although I am not 100% happy with the colouring so I might do another but for now here we are. I wanted to enter the simon says Stamp challenge this week but couldn't think of a song that would match a card but when I started colouring I started humming a wee tune to myself and I thought...perfect. The papers are from Scenic Route...which I need to get more off as I am running out and I am liking these ones...the image is a Whimsey Meljens Designs image which has been coloured with cpoics, I added some glaze to the spots/sweets on the cake but you can't really see it in the photo, I also added some chalk around the flame of the candle to give it a glow...hope you like an I have entered in the following challenges:
