Birthday Greetings

Good morning everybody, I'm here sharing my DT card for My Mum's Craft Shop which I actually made for my dad's 80th....don't think he was that impressed as it didn't have a boat, a fish or some kind of sport on it...

For today's card I have used one of the new Altenew stamps called Birthday Greetings,...this is a fab set and so many sentiments are included.

I inked up the balloon with different distress inks and stamped onto watercolor card, I spritzed some water over the top and gently pulled some of the colour from the balloons to colour the background.

I then used my distressed patterns stamp to stamp some little black splodges, I die cut the numbers from a spare piece of watercolour card that I had also coloured and then stamped one of the sentiments included in the set to finish.

Hope you likey!

Bed of Roses

Hey everybody...a non DT card from me this morning

When I saw this stamp I thought it would be perfect for white embossing, which it is, thought it would just a bit bigger but still I like it!

I inked it up with distress inks, cut it out and distressed the edges.  I added some splodges and sequins and then layer the roses onto the card.  I added one of the messages from the Label Love set.

A Splash of Colour

Good morning everybody, today I'm sharing my DT card for My Mum's Craft Shop.

For today's card I have used one of the new Altenew stamps called A Splash of Color, I have to say this is a fab set and it's amazing what you can do with the stamps...you know I like a splodge...watch this space!

I inked up of of the stamps with 4 different colours of distress inks, spritzed them with a light spray of water and then stamped onto watercolour card, then colours then bled together.  I repeated another twice.  I then used my distressed patterns stamp to stamp some little black splodges, stamped one of the sentiments included in the set and then added a few sequins to finish.

Hope you likey!

Spectrum Noir February Challenge

Hi everybody...there's a new challenge over on the Spectrum Noir Facebook page??

This month's theme is "anything goes" with the optional "love and friendship" theme.  All you have to do is use some of the Spectrum Noir products.

For my card I have used these cute little owls from MFT - I'm Owl Yours stamp set and coloured them with Spectrum Noir Markers.  I used GB8, GB10, BP2 and TN1. I die cut the hearts and arrow from one of the die-namics blueprints sets...which fitted the them perfectly.

You can also pop over to the Spectrum Noir blog to find out loads of tips and techniques on using all your Spectrum Noir products.
