A little bit manly...

Good morning Sunday bloggers...where has the sun gone??  It was roasty toasty yesterday but looks like we are back to the normal dull weather today.

So my mum asked me to make her a card for a friend who is going to be 70, she wanted something with a cowboy theme as he was cowboy daft when he was younger.  I told her the only image I had was a half naked man wearing a cowboy hat....and she said that would be perfect....lol!!

So I have used papers from Carta Bella Giddy Up Boy, the image is from Victoria Case which I coloured with copics.  I added some twine and attached a cowboy hat charm and punch out a star and added the numbers to it...oh and some doodles!!

papers - Carta Bella Giddy Up Boy

A wee springtime bunny...

Happy Sunday folks...bet you thought I had gone missing??  I have had a busy week with work last week and had to prepare a presentation, go through 4 stages of an interview not to get the job!!  At least I still have my old one...

Although it has been snowing this week I felt it was to for a spring time card.  I bought this stamp at the SECC...isn't it cute!!

Now I am not quite sure how the green thing happened but it has...I have used papers from MME - Meadow which I layered onto bazzill card and stitched and distressed each of the layers.  The stamp is from LOTv which I coloured with copics.  I added a ribbon and a few little bud type things which I coloured green to match the card...oh and some pearls.

...and before bed...

Well this will be short and sweet....thought I would share this wee card that I have been busy most of afternoon making...might need to retake the photo in daylight.

The papers are from MME - Bluebell, I layered them onto bazzill card and then distressed the edges, I also added stitching to each of the layers. I added a small piece of hessian and some lace.  The flowers have been cut with various MFT dies, the flourish is a doo hickey one.  The stamp is from Whimsy which I coloured with copics and added some shading with polychromos....to finish I added ice white pearl pen dots. There was supposed to be a charm on there too but i forgot about it!!

Watch out for some news this week too!!

Underwater Adventures...

Good morning folks....hopefully this is me getting back to normal. The school shopping is complete, the extra hours at is complete and Holly is much better now and on the mend and looking forward to going back to school.

I have been so desperate to make a start on the latest Sugar Nellie stamps so last night I finally managed a bit of time to colour and make this card. The papers have been in my stash forever but I though they were a perfect match, they are from Imaginsce - Splash collection. Te stamp is of course from Sugar Nellie - Aqua Marina which I coloured with copics. I added some blue lace and twine and attached a little turtle charm which was lying in my stash too. The sentiment is from CC Design - Beach Logos...there's a few in the set that matches the mermaids perfectly....added some pearls and lots of glitter to finish.

Hi folks....it's been a couple of weeks since I have posted but as some of you know my time has been taken up with Holly, my daughter, who was assaulted a couple of weeks ago. She is on the mend now and I am just keeping an eye on her.

I was really excited when Tina emailed and asked if I would like to be a Guest Designer for CMC Copic Challenge...I love my copics and I do try to enter their challene when I can. The them is backgrounds, so let's see what you can do....

For my card I have used papers from Fancy Pants, the stamp is from Marianne Design which has been coloured with copics, I did some colouring of the clouds with copics too and added some glitter, the message is from CC Design...which I thought was perfect.

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hi my Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post. Hopefully my head is not too bad after my school reunion party last night but I will tell you about that later.

The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is to make an easel card or a twisted easel card. I just stuck to the non twisted variety as twisted looks a bit complicated!!

Our sponsor this week is...

who are offering one lucky winner a $15 certificate to spend in their store.

Now you will see the top photo is the front of the card and the photo below is the open version. I have used First Edition - Up, Up & Away papers which you can buy here from Simon Says Stamp...they are so pretty. The image is Bumble Bee from sugar Nellie which has been coloured with Distress Ink's and again Simon Says Stamp carries a whole collection of DI's which can buy here. I punched the flowers with my MFT die-namics die and Simon stocks a huge amount of die-namics. I finished with a message and a ribbon on the inside....hope you like.

I have entered the challenges below.

Crafty Catz - fancy folds

well what can I say...

I have been doodling away at this image since last week and this is actually my 4th attempt at colouring her hair....it's not too good. I did try to follow Debbi's tutorial but I was kind of rubbish so more practice needed!! By the time I finished the colouring, I couldn't really be bothered so for me a plainish card although I did find the following challenges to enter.

Cupcake Craft challenge - pink polka dots
Simply Create - monochromatic
Craft your passion - anything goes
Stamping Vacation - monochromatic pink
stamping bazaar - monochromatic

Just a sprinkling of Star Dust....

Hi all...I haven't had much time this week to make much as I have been working extra as Lynn is still off sick but she is coming back to work on Monday...woo hoo!! This one of the new sugar Nellie stamps I bought at the SECC yesterday...isn't she fab?? I coloured her with copics and did some shading with pencils. The papers are new and they are MME - Stella Rose and they are fab....my favourite colours, blues, greens and browns and with other colours added in too. I made the rolled flower myself as my rolled flower die seems to have vanished...grrr!! I added the little happy birthday message and finished with a touch of glitter on the star dust...hope you like.
