next up...a little cupcake...

Card #2 today...I really need to go and do some housework but first this...the LOTV fairy stamps are up there with my other favourites and this little cutie is no exception. I have coloured her with copics, glittered her wings too. The papers are scraps of MME but can't remember what the name of them is. I layered them onto card then stitched and distressed the edges...I just love that look!! I added a piece of pink lace, a ribbon and a couple of tiny tags. The rolled roses have been made with my new MFT rolled rose die, I already have the sizzix one...but these are teeny!!

Best Day Ever...

Good morning folks and a wee scheduled post this morning. when I say best day ever...I don't mean that I am having the best day ever, that's the name of this little stamp from Sugar Nellie...isn't she sweet?? I have coloured this little cutie with polychromos....still more practice needed. I have used papers from Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar Soup and they are almost all gone but I will need to buy more as I lurve these papers. Yes again I have doodled and layered onto kraft. I added a ribbon and a bow and some gems.

Whilst I am working hard at work I hope my hubby has returned my new coat I bought yesterday. Put it on last night and the security tag is still on it. The shop assistant was too busy blethering and I didn't notice she hadn't taken it off...anyway my bargain £75 reduced to £20....all the more pennies for crafty goodies.

Paper Sundaes DT card

Welcome to another Sunday and the challenge over at Paper Sundaes this week is metal...you can create anything you like as long as it has something metal on it. Our sponsor this week is Stamp and Create who have some fabulous products in their store. For my card I have used MME papers and a Wags 'n' Whiskers image. I have coloured this image with promarkers but I am limited for colours for now as they belong to Holly and she only has a small amount...but I think it matches the papers. I have added some chunky white glitter to the hats to give them a bit of a fluffy look...for the metal I have added 3 snowflake brads, a ribbon charm and message all from Making Memories....I then added some star buttons to finish off. Happy Happy Birthday!!

Well it seems like the summer has gone away as it's been raining constantly since the kids went on holiday from school....anyway I'm still so chuffed cos I won some candy and I have my spotlight thing over at Digital Delights on Wednesday - yay! so onto this card - I have used the papers fom Stampin'Up Sweet Pea collection which are fab, I then stamped Anya and coloured her with copics, I used a glaze sakura pen on her sunnys, I added buttons, ribbon, I added glitter to the embossed circle and a birthday message with a diamonte and of course my fabby flowers - even though I say so myself...I just love them...I made them with the sizzix 3d flower die...don't you love them??

Well what is this weather like?? I have never seen the rain so heavy for a long time..it was coming in my back door!! anyway it's a bit brighter today but not sunbathing weather unfortunately..so here's my card today.

I have made this for a few challenges today...The papers are various pinks fom MME and the image is Chi from Tiddly Inks which I have coloured with copics. She is so easy to colour and I even managed to do shiny hair which I have been practising...not sure if i should have only done 2 bits of shinyness!!

Mmmm....cupcakes!!

Well it's another nice day here...but I think it's to be rainy tommorrow...hope the weathermen have got it wrong cos my boy has gone to T in the Park. Onto the card...I couldn't really decide what to make but eventually settled for this one. The stamps are from the Crazy for cupcakes stamp set from stampin Up...which I love. I have added a couple of ribbons and glittered the icing on the cakes...although you can't really see that.

Happy birthday

Hi folks..just a quickie....got a delivery today...a few goodies to play with including these papers from Bo Bunny. I stamped Anya and coloured her with copics and layered her onto the card. I thought these papers were a bit different from the norm I buy...so a wee change. I quickly had to nick Michael's camera again to take the photo but it's back in it's place with the photo deleted...he'll never know!! Will nee to interrogate Holly about mine when she comes home from school....and they are now on holiday for 7 weeks....oh nnnnooooo!! Just as well I'm working and her granny will have joys of an almost teenager first thing in the morning...not a pleasant experience!!

Happy Birthday to You

Well I am on holiday all week so I WILL be having a holiday and WILL be making lots of cards...the housework will be minimal!! I got this new stamp last week and this is the first chance I have had to use it...it's just so sweet. The papers are MME whih I have had for a wee while in my stash but I thought they were perfect for this card. The birthday message is from Stampin Up - Crazy for cupcakes set....the black circle is a bit off but never mind....at a quick glance you'll never notice.

Summertime

When I saw this stamp I had to have it...it just reminded me of my brother when he was a little boy..playing on his tarzan swing!! It's quite plain but I tried to make it look like a real rope swing....and I think I might give this card to my brother's little boy cos it looks a bit like him too!! A few Challenges

I couldn't make up my mind what to do today...I think I'm still tired from my long shift at work and the fact I was looking at complicated sick pay spreadsheets for 4 days...exciting stuff!! Anyway in the long run I decided to make this card while I'm waiting on my new stamps to come..and my Stampin Up stuff..woo hoo. The backing papers are Crate Papers which I am loving at the minute..need to buy more...the stamp is from PSX which was one of the very first stamps I bought to make my dad a card with cos he likes gardening...and it's a lovely image to colour and I coloured this one with Holly's Promarkers...she's at school so she won't know (hee hee), I added a Prima flower and a little message to finish off....believe it or not there is no glitter on this card!!. Sweet Pixie

What another lovely day...hopefully the lava cloud won't come down and bother those asthma sufferers...Michael's only out of hospital a couple of weeks ago after a bad asthma attack so the last thing he needs is another. On to todays card.... I have used Crate Paper and the lovely Leisel....I downloaded the fence as a freebie from Pollycraft. I have distressed the paper at the edges, I also embossed it and then sanded it down...very messy. I also distressed the scallop circle after cutting it...I don't have a die this shape so I just use the SU slit punch and go round the cirlce making the scallop shape. I have coloured the sweet little pixie with my copics added some glitter and a couple of flowers with button centres. I left this card without a message so it could be used for all sorts of occasions.

This is just so cute...I made this for my niece's birthday who will be 6 next week and I thought I could fit it to a couple of challenges at the same time.
