Good morning sweet stampers and the first of my scheduled posts today.

Today's challenge over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' is snowflakes....you can never have enough snowflakes.

Our sponsor this month is Funky Kits who are giving 2 Gorjuss Girl stamps from Personal Impressions.

For my card I have used Daisyboardabella and coloured her with copics.  The papers are Fancy Pants - Hot Chocolate which are so scrummy and I have nearly ran out!!  I layered the papers onto kraft card and distressed the edges.  I also punched out some snowflakes in kraft to match, I added some pearls to the centres of them and also glitzed them up with stickles.  I added a huge button and twine and a charm with a couple of little tags to finish off...but wait...have you spotted that snowflake doily??  The lovely Faye sent me some of those MFT snowflake doily die cuts as the die is out of stock and I have been trying to get it for a while...thank you my fluffiness!!

Happy birthday...

I folks...well I couldn't wait any longer...I had to use one of the simply sassy stamps I already had for this card. The postie has not brought my new stamps!!!! I also couldn't decide whether to enter the GDT call for the Simply Sassy...so as you can see I have decided....although it's only for 2 months I thought I would give it a bash. For this card I have used BG - Marjolaine papers which I totally love just now. The image is Party Frills - Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy which I have coloured with promarkers. I had a few of these coloured from a few weeks ago as I had entered the Simply Sassy DT Call and was trying to perfect my colouring. I also added some stitching (still a bit wonky!!)and embossing, punch the ovals and finished off with those cute little flowers which are new from Wild Orchid Crafts..oh yes I also added some sequins and beads for the centres of the flowers on the embossed oval....hand sewn!! I have entered the following challenges.

Cutie christmas..

Hi everybody, hope you are all warm and cosy!! Well the snow came back yesterday and it's been so freezy and icy and the snow has to come back again tomorrow!! Oh no!! Well I have only managed this card today as I have had to do housework and stuff as I had to work my day off yesterday to make up for the day I had off when the snow was at it's worst but I did get my Tesco shopping delivered before I went to work...yay...food again!! Onto the card....I bought this stamp at the SECC in October and believe it or not this is the first time I have used it and it's so cute...the pink on her dress looks a bit too pink but IRL it is more red. The stamp is of course from LOTV and coloured with copics and the Papers are Echo Park - Wintertime. I punched some stars for this card as I felt they went better with the image rather than snowflakes. Keep watching over the weekend too, to see if I make the final round of the Simply Sassy competition, I am keeping my fingers crossed...don't think I will win as there are some stunning creations but it's all fun taking part.

Merry Christmas...

I have been quiet the past couple of days as I haven't been feeling well...still don't feel 100% but being a mother you just have to get on with it!! I have made this card using Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers, the snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart punches, the tags are from Stampin' Up tiny tags which I stamped and punched, the message was stamped but I masked off the full message as it was too big to fit and the image is from All That scraps and coloured with copics. To finish off I added glitter to the snowflakes and the trims on Darby's boots, jacket and hat.

Well after my post yesterday saying that it was raining...it actually turned out to be really hot and looks like it's going to be nice and sunny today. For my card today I have used my new Bo Bunny winter Joy papers...these are absolutely gorgeous in real life but haven't been able to get the matching ribbons yet...the image is from Sassy Cheryl's and I coloured the snowman with copics and added some glitter. I distressed the edges of the layers to give it a shabby look...well my interpretation of a shabby look. I am having withdrawal symptoms so I needed to make this card for the challenges below. I saw the tutorial on youtube of how you make it...not sure what it's called. I had the papers and ribbon in my stash and the lovely Mandy sent me some Magnolia images.....this is the front.

This is the inside...well the first part....when the card is folded slits are made, then you feed through the white card and stamp your message on the white area....then...

Another inside is revealed and you can stamp further messages...I was well impressed when I saw this on youtube and I had to try it asap....it's like magic!!
