Sugar Nellie Blog Hop...down the Fairy Glen

Good morning Blog Hop fans...the day has finally arrived where you can see all the fab creations with the new release of sugar from Sugar Nellie.

The Blog Hop will run from 09:00am today until 11:30pm tomorrow night showcasing lots of delish cards.

If you have arrived here from Sugar Mama Gayle's blog then you are in the right place but if not then you need to go back to the beginning and start at The Sugar Nellie Blog. All you need to do is leave some love on each of the DT's own blogs and you never know...you might even win some free sugar!!

As always the new release of rubber is available at Funky Kits...so you better keep Mark busy and get on over there.

For my card I have used Pippi Longsocks.....isn't she just the best?? Of course you can buy her here from Funky Kits today!! I have coloured this little cutie with copics and glittered her wings up for a bit of sparkle. The papers are from MME - Mischevious collection, the message is from SU - Crazy for cupcakes stamp set and flowers have been cut with my MFT flower trio die.

Next stop on the hop is the fabulous Lilian's blog....check out what she has made....and remember to leave some love too.

I have also entered the challenges below...

Wish upon a star in autumn...

Morning bloggers....almost the weekend again and I will be back at work :( but never mind somebody's got to do it!! I made this card last night mainly for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge which did actually throw me a bit. The papers are just delish they are Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar and the image is "Wish upon a Star" from Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Funky Kits. I coloured this little sweetie with copics....now I quite like the feathering technique and then blending the colours together and this little skirt is the perfect size to add a few colours too. Although this is a Christmas fairy, I think she could be used anytime of the year but this is mix of autumn and Christmas....hope you likey!!

Crafty Purple Frog - fall into fall
Little Miss Muffet - things with wings
Craft Us Crazy - goodbye to summer
Flutterby Wednesday - anything goes
Craft Creations - autumn hues
Little Red Wagon - twine
Papertake Weekly - things with wings

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hi all my Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post but I'm not working but thought I would just schedule incase I got caught up in other stuff!! Today's challenge over at Paper Sundaes is "texture".

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp who is offering one lucky winner a $15 gift certificate to spend in their store.

I have used papers from MME - Stella Rose collection which I have layered and stitched. I added a scalloped edge with my giant sizzlits die. I made the flower by punching 4 circles of bazill cardstock and then I separated the layers to give me 8 cicles, I spritzed them with water and then scrunched them into little balls. Once dry I opened up the circles and attached them all together with a brad in the centre and then I teased the layers back into the scrunchy shape...first attempt at that. I also added some button twine, ribbon and some gems. I embossed the scalloped edge aswell to give more texture. I coloured Lady Tilda( which you can buy here at Simon's store) with copics and layered her onto the card.

Crafts & Me - ribbon
Papertake Weekly - truly dimensional
Just Magnolia - happy birthday
Your Next Stamp - texture
The Crafty Purple Frog - touchy feely
Catch the Bug - 4 or more layers
The Stamp Man - embossing
My Partner in Crafting Crime - layer it up
Stamptacular - Magnolia stamp
Sqigglefly - fabric/stitching

Spring is in the air.....

everywhere I look around....now how many of you know that one???

Well I have not had much time to do anything on my days off this week. Housework yesterday...boring and then I had a funeral this morning but then went for lunch with Lou and then more housework this afternoon...thought I would wash everything in sight since it was nice and I was able to hang the washing outside today and even better..it's all dry!!

So a quickie before I head to Tesco...the papers are from the nitwits collections and the image is from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics and then did a bit shading with my pencils. The flowers have been cut with a MFT flower die-namic die with some pearls added to the centres. Ichalked the clouds onto the oval and some little birds and layered it onto the scallop oval...which I cut by hand with my little Stampin Up slit punch. I have entered the following challenges.

The Sugar Bowl - sketch/spring
Saturday Challenge - flowers and female
OSAAT - glitter/gems
Crafty Calendar - spring
Stamp & Create - spring
Whoopsi Daisy - flowers
The Creative Cottage - spring
Stampavie - spring

The papers are from MME Stella Rose collection. The flowers are cut using a die-namics die from My Favourite Things which I have to say I am loving as it's just so simple. I had to add some glitter to this image. I have entered the following challenges.

Paper Sundaes DT card

Well hello my blogging buddies and welcome to another Sundae here at Paper Sundaes. The challenge this week is "distressing"....that means you can rip, tear, ink....as long as it's some kind of distressing on your project.

Photobucket

Once again our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp who are offering a $15 certificate for one lucky winner.

For my card this week, I have used Basic Grey - Marjolaine DP...loving these just now. I inked up the edges of the papers and layered them onto brown bazill card which I frayed around the edges. The stamp is Tilda which you can buy online here at Simon Says Stamp, I cut her out and layered her onto a digi stump from CC Designs...coloured both with promarkers....making use of my new large collection which I won a few weeks ago!! The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts...I think I am getting a bit hooked on these too!! I also added some distress ink to the flowers and then added some gems and a message.

Just Magnolia - sketch
The Crafty Purple Frog - distressing
Paper Cutz - anything goes
The Stamp Man - distressing
Die cut Dreams - digi and rubber
I ♥ promarkers - simple and sweet
Simon Says Stamp - 3 from bingo card(gems, flowers, punches)
Basic Grey - flower power

The winners of my candy will be announced on Wednesday along with the winners on the main Paper sundaes Challenge blog....watch this space.
