It's almost Easter...

Morning Sweet Stampers and my scheduled post. Well I don't normally make Easter cards so these have not come easy to me so why on earth did I pick Easter as the them this week at Sweet Stampin...obviously it seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm not sure if I like this or not...not my usual I'm afraid!! Pop over and see what the other sweeties have made to inspire you with Easter scrumminess!!

For my card I have used Nitwits papers and the image is from Di's Digi Download. I coloured the image with promarkers and then cut it out, I then used an embossing tool on the back of the agg to mould it into a dome and layered it onto the card...it reall pops out as is much better IRL. I made the sun by cutting out a sizzix flower, cutting the ends of the petals.

A quick sassy...

I had stamped and coloured this Sassy the other day but now I have made her into a card. The papers are Echo Park - A Walk in the Park. I coloured Bella Bunting with copics and cut her out and layered her on to the card...added some gems, flowers, glitter and a message. I hope this fits the Stamp something challenge but if it's not funky then just delete it.

Happy Birthday to You....

Oh what a change in the weather today...nice and Sunny....I have spent a few hours on this card trying to get the shading right. The papers are from Crate Paper - Brook Collection. I coloured this Sweet Pea image with copics using 12 different shades of green and 6 different browns...not sure if you can see the shading in the photo but believe me...it took me ages!! I distressed the edges of the circle and also inked the edges of the image with brown and green ink aswell then added some glitter, pearls and gems. I have entered the following the challenges:

Paper Sundaes DT card

Well hi all...I'm so excited today as this is my first card on the Paper Sundaes DT. I am so chuffed to be part of the DT as it is one of the challenges that I like to take part in most weeks as it's always so much fun!! The challenge this week is to include stitching and is also sponsored by Belles & Whistles. Pop on over to the Paper Sundaes challenge blog to take part this weeks challenge. The papers I have used in my card are from Scenic Route which is not a brand I have used before but when I saw these ones .....well need I say more?? The image is Beary Big Hugs...so cute which is from Belles & Whistles and I have coloured with copics to match the paper, the flowers I cut with the sizzix 3d flower die...my favourite gadget at the moment although I have another on order so might be some competition there. I finished off with a stamped message and added some fake stitching as my real stitching is not too hot!! I hope you like my first DT card, I have also enteed this one in the following challenges:

Well what is this weather like?? I have never seen the rain so heavy for a long time..it was coming in my back door!! anyway it's a bit brighter today but not sunbathing weather unfortunately..so here's my card today.

I have made this for a few challenges today...The papers are various pinks fom MME and the image is Chi from Tiddly Inks which I have coloured with copics. She is so easy to colour and I even managed to do shiny hair which I have been practising...not sure if i should have only done 2 bits of shinyness!!

A few more challenges

I am about to start some housework...so a quickie!! The Penny Black stamp was in my stash and looking a bit neglected so I thought I would put her to use today....when I bought this it was one of my favourite stamps. More Crate Papers - Mia collection this time, I cut the flowers from the same papers wih my sizzix, touched up the edges of the petals with ink, added buttons and a message...no glitter!!
