Friends Forever...

Howdy folks and another sunny but cold day here in Scotland. I thought I would get a wee bit crafting done today before I go back to work tomorrow...oh and I need to do the usual chores!!
I actually bought this stamp a few weeks ago but only inked it up last night. The stamp is from Stampavie - Fishing Fun which I coloured with copics, I also cut the image out to give it a 3D effect. The papers are a mix from various MME collections. The cloud is a MFT die-namic and the sun is a daisy die but I snipped the ends off. I added some twine and buttons to finish.

Round 2 of spring...unless it snows again...

Good morning bloggers...well isn't this weather a bit weird?? It was spring a couple of weeks ago and then it went back to winter last week when the snow and wind came back with avengeance so hopefully we are now back on track for some lovely spring weather although as I am scheduling this post..it is raining!!

Today's challenge over at Cupcake Craft challenges is "spring is in the air"...nice and easy. I have used papers from Echo park - springtime and Lilybeedesigns - Buttercup. I have layered the papers onto Bazzill card. The stamp is from Lili of the Valley which I coloured with copics and I then added some shading with polychromos. The sentiment is also from LOTV...rather plain and simple today.

Pop over and check out the other girl's cards.

Sweet Stampin DT card..

Good morning sweet stampers and my Saturday morning scheduled post. The challenge this week at Sweet Stampin is "Something Unusual" now that means you have to use something on your creation that you wouldn't necessarily use for cardmaking/crafts.

Now I was a bit baffled and was raking the house trying to find something but then I got some inspiration from Jenny and hey presto.....a little bandage in place of ribbon and the flowers have been cut from absorbant lint....they were tricky little blighters!!

We are sponsored this week by Tiffany Doodles...

Tiffany Doodles

I have used Echo Paper - Country Drive papers...very yummy. The stamp is Flower Girl from Sugar Nellie and I have coloured her with Distress Inks. I cut the flowers with my MFT flower trio die and stuck a pearl in the centre and a message to finish.

I added a couple of clouds which were cut using a MFT die-namics cloud die and I made the sun with a sizzix daisy and chopped off the ends of the petals, I added a little sizzix star.

My first hanglar....

Hi folks...a quick post before I go and watch BGT...I have recorded it...I have to fast forward some of the rubbish!! Everybody has gone out tonight and left me all alone...Michael has been away with his friends since last night and won't be home until tomorrow, Holly has a sleepover at her friends and my hubby has gone to the pub with his friends...so peace and quiet to make this card although I started colouring this on Wednesday at the card class. I coloured this Hanglar(which I received from Elaine) with DI's...still practicing, the papers are from MME - So Sophie which I love, these are my favourite colours!! I stitched all the layers and then added some pearls and flowers.

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hi all my Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post but I'm not working but thought I would just schedule incase I got caught up in other stuff!! Today's challenge over at Paper Sundaes is "texture".

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp who is offering one lucky winner a $15 gift certificate to spend in their store.

I have used papers from MME - Stella Rose collection which I have layered and stitched. I added a scalloped edge with my giant sizzlits die. I made the flower by punching 4 circles of bazill cardstock and then I separated the layers to give me 8 cicles, I spritzed them with water and then scrunched them into little balls. Once dry I opened up the circles and attached them all together with a brad in the centre and then I teased the layers back into the scrunchy shape...first attempt at that. I also added some button twine, ribbon and some gems. I embossed the scalloped edge aswell to give more texture. I coloured Lady Tilda( which you can buy here at Simon's store) with copics and layered her onto the card.

Crafts & Me - ribbon
Papertake Weekly - truly dimensional
Just Magnolia - happy birthday
Your Next Stamp - texture
The Crafty Purple Frog - touchy feely
Catch the Bug - 4 or more layers
The Stamp Man - embossing
My Partner in Crafting Crime - layer it up
