Fashionista....

Well this is a quick card I made last night...well when I say quick I have been doodling away at the image for a couple of days but the papers are new so I felt I really had to make use of them.

The papers are Pink Gelato - Kaisercraft, they are actually much prettier IRL. The image is of course Fashionista from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with DI's...still loving the inks but need to buy more which are now on order as we speak!! The flowers have been cut using my MFT flower trio die and the message is from Stampin Up - Crazy for Cupcakes set.

I did start colouring this image for a Lemon & Lime challenge however that changed when I saw the new papers...

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hi Sundae bloggers and my scheduled Sundae post. The challenge over at Paper Sundaes this week is to choose at least 2 toppings from the Sundae Bar....gems, purple, wings or paper piercing...that is piercing and not piecing!! You could always be a bit cheeky and have a bit of all 4 like me!!

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hi my Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post. Hopefully my head is not too bad after my school reunion party last night but I will tell you about that later.

The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is to make an easel card or a twisted easel card. I just stuck to the non twisted variety as twisted looks a bit complicated!!

I punched the flowers with my MFT die-namics die and Simon stocks a huge amount of die-namics. I finished with a message and a ribbon on the inside....hope you like.

Things with wings at Sweet Stampin'

Good morning sweet stampers and my scheduled post. I am working today but I am partying tonight. I am going to a school reunion and meeting up with people I have seen for about 30 years. I am meeting 3 girls that I was friendly with at school and we did stay in touch for a bit and then went our separate ways, so I haven't seen them for about 25 years...I am so looking forward to it. I will let you know how it goes.

For my card I have used "Clover" from Pollycraft and coloured her with copics. The papers are First Edition - Up & Away...they are so pretty IRL. I added a couple of clouds which I cut with my MFT die-namics die, and a little sun and then finished off with lots of glitter...I felt she needed it!!

It's almost the school holidays....

I folks, the weather is a bit better today so I have been getting my washing hung out. I have been asked to make a few teacher cards, so here's the first one. They will all be variations of this as they are for all different teachers. The image is from Sugar Nellie and I have coloured her with DI's....this one was a bit more difficult as I wanted to keep her with a bit of white...hope I've got it looking white!! The papers I have had in my stash from when I did a school scrapbook so I can't really remember which make they are. I added a button with some twine and I printed the message...not sure about that either!! I have entered the challenges below.

Love this little fairy....

Good evening folks....just thought I post this little cutie tonight. I coloured it at the card class last week but only made it into a card tonight. The image is from LOTV and I coloured it with copics. The papers are from MME - Happy Go Lucky...lovin' them too. Do I need to tell you about the flowers???? Well I will...they have been cut using my MFT flower trio die, I added some pearls and glitter for some sparkle.

This is for Elaine...

Oh Elaine I am so enjoying colouring with these DI's...if there's anybody out there that's thinking about it, then I would definitely recommend it...so easy but the secret is good brushes and good card. I have used "This Little Light" from Sugar Nellie...she is fab to colour regardless what you use...but I have Distress Inks. The papers are from Fancy Pants - Happy Together collection. I cut the daisy 3 times and layered them to make a fuller daisy. Now greens like this isn't normally a colour I would go for but I have to say I am so chuffed with this one and I just had to post it now....hope you likey!!

Ship ahoy...or is it land ahoy??

Well I still haven't done my hoovering today...got sidetracked with some internet shopping!! Not sure if I like this one or not...I think the oval is too big, perhaps if it was smaller then it would be better but hey ho!! No flowers....

Oh I'm on a roll colouring with these DI's....I have been dabbling away at this today and I think I am quite chuffed with this one although the t shirt looks blotchy but it's supposed to be shading. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie, coloured with DI's and the papers are from MME - Fly a Kite collection...now I really must do some hoovering but more later!!

Fashionista....

Well I haven't really done much today except for colouring this little lady...the lovely Elaine sent me some card(thank you so much Elaine) for using with Distress Inks and oh I am enjoying practising. I thought I would enter the Facebook challenge this week so here's is my card for that and a few other challenges. I used Kaisecraft - Utopia papers, the image is Fashionista from Sugar Nellie, coloured with DI's, I distressed the edges of each of the layers and the flowers have been cut with my fabby little MFT flower die-namic die....oh and I inked the edges of the circles with the blue DI that I used to colour the image....hope you like!!

I'm back...

Hi folks...I'm back. I would just like to say a huge thanks for everyones lovely comments whilst Holly was in hospital, she was discharged late on Saturday afternoon and is on the mend.

So after last weeks events I missed my DT posts for the weekend so first of all the challenge this week over at Sweet Stampin' is "playing in the summer sun". I have used MME - Fly a Kite papers collection. The stamp is one of my favourite boy stamps from LOTV and I coloured him with copics. I added a couple of clouds which were cut using a MFT die-namics cloud die and I made the sun with a sizzix daisy and chopped off the ends of the petals, I added a little sizzix star.

A wee quickie....and candy winner

Hi folks...I have been AWOL this week and it looks like possibly over the weekend too. Holly has been hospital since the beginning of the week as she cut her thumb on a piece of barbed wire and the dodctors thought that it was either infected or she had damaged the tendons. They hoped by keeping her the drip this would reduce the swelling and she would have movement back in her thumb however this hasn't been happening fast enough. Today another plastic surgeon assessed her and decided that she has severed a nerve and needs surgery so she is being fasted from midnight tonight in the hope that she can have the op in the morning although it depends if there's emergencies through the night that need priority treatment, so all being well she will be home late on tomorrow.

I am also late in letting you know about the fab new look Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog...it looks amazing and Abi you are fab, wonderful job you have made of the new look...I can only take a tiny piece of credit for my little contribution!!
