A few Challenges

I've been having withdrawal symptons as I have been working all week!! After clearing the snow I made this card for a few challenges today. The image is from Pollycraft and coloured with copics but I'm not too happy with the colouring cos it bled quite a bit. The papers are from Stampin Up.

Pollycraft DT Challenge

I was in two minds whether to enter the Pollycraft DT challenge or not...I'm fairly new to this blogging and I wouldn't want to let anybody down if my cards aren't good enough. After a few days thinking about it and having a look some of the other entries..it gave me lots of inspiration...especially Faye's card...it's super cool!! I coloured Codi with copics and used colours based on what my Holly would wear...although she's moved to skinny leg jeans now!! The backing papers are from MME of course..my favourite and added a message and some little gems, finished off with some stitching. I also managed to fit this to a few other challenges below. This is one of my favourite tecniques...I just love stamping or using a digital image to colour and cut out and then do some layering to give a 3d effect.

Winter Wonderland

I thought I would make a quick card for the challenge over at Winter Wonderland. I bought this Patchwork Pals set from QVC so there's not much though needed as you have evrything in the pack...it's fine if you're short of time but I prefer to make my cards with more work in them....hope you like this one.

As Easter is approaching... I thought I better make another Easter card and that's me up to date with these. I had these spring papers in my stash ....not sure where I got them, the image is from Pink Petticoat and coloured with my copics...and of course some glitter...my favourite!! I made this card for a few challenges today... The backing papers are MME - Quite contrary, I downloaded he image from The Stamping Boutique and coloured with copics and stamped the message...finished off with loads of glitter but you can't really see it in the photo...hope you like it.

I bought this stamp last week so I thought as it was my day off work I would give it a go. I stamped Bella and coloured her with my copics and then layered the image onto the backing papers from Crate Paper....finishd with a message. This fits into a few challenges today.

Happy Birthday

I forgot I had these Stampin' Up Papers...they go perfect with this image and I love cherries. I coloured Emma with copics and touched up the toadstools and the cherries on her top with some glitter and then stamped the birthday message....oh and I addd some ribbon. I wanted to make something with wings but this was all I had...not sure where all my butterflies are..anyway the tinkerbell has been die cut and then layered ono matching paper...I attempted to put a face on her but it didn't quite turn out how I wanted it to..that's what happens when you rush!! I might stick to stamping!!

My new papers arrived so I thought I would make a card using them. The backing papers are from Crate Paper - Paper Doll Collection, I stamped the Gorjuss Girl, coloured her with my copics and layered her onto the card and finished with a little message.

Anniversary

My friend asked me to make an anniversary card for her mum's friend...so here it is and it just happens to fit in with the challenges over at Fab n Funky and Polka Doodles this week. The card is very plain...I cut the hearts with the sizzix and layered them, I added a piece of lace and some gems...and of course the message.

ABC Christmas Challenge

I think this is a great idea...making a start on all those Christmas Cards now....I made this for the ABC Christmas Challenge ...F for Frosty. The backing paper is from Heidi Grace. I stamped the message then layered a full 6 x 6 square on top with the circle cut, then stamped the snowman and cut him out too...finished off with som glittered snowflakes for that extra frosty look!!

Digital Tuesday

This is such a cute little digital image from Pollycraft..so I thought I would use it to make this card. I coloured the image using my copics and sprayed parts of it and layered it onto beautiful Crate Paper which arrived this morning, I also pierced the edges of the image and finished off with a matching flower and message.

Mother's Day

I just love these papers from MME..they look good with all the Gorjuss Girls..I think. I stamped the Bubble Bee Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie, gently shaded her dress with pink, glittered her wings and layered her onto the backing paper. I added a couple of flowers to match the floral paper and a message...hope you like it!!

Winter Wonderland

I made this card for the Winter Wonderland Challenge. The theme is Christmas so Santa!! The Santa has been cut with the Sizzix and given a 3D look, I added some snow to his hat and beard and layered onto Heidi Grace Papers and finished off with a little message from Hero Arts.

Susie and Vikki's Chistmas Club challenge - Hot Chocolate

This was a challenge to use only hot chocolate colours for the challenge over at Susie and Vikki's Chistmas club. I used different colours of brown card, layered the stamped image of Pure of Heart from Sugar Nellie ono the card, added brown ribbon and a message and to finish off added some glitter.

Happy Birthday

This is just so cute...I made this for my niece's birthday who will be 6 next week and I thought I could fit it to a couple of challenges at the same time. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie and the backing papers are from Imaginisce - Luy Bird...I also added a couple of buttons and a wee message to finish it off.

I made this card for acouple of challenges....Sketch Saturday and DP2 Challenge. I used a Mo's digital Pencil image which is really cool and coloured her my copics. The backing papers are from my stash..think they could be Bo bunny. I found his quite difficult to stick to 3 colours (brown, blue and cream) so I have added a green aswell although it's just a wee bit..but thought I would post it anyway.

I have never made a card with a theme of monocromatic...so I thought I would try this one for the challenge over at Stampin for the weekend, I also followed the sketch a Friday Sketchers. The stamp I used is Foxy from the Gorjuss Girls at Sugar Nellie and a few random bits and bobs.

This card is for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. I have used the Sitting rubber stamp from Sugar Nellie and the backing papers are from MME...my favourite!! I'm not sure about the shabby chic look as I haven't done that before so I distressed the edges and chalked them...hope hat meets the requirements!!

These papers from MME are so cool so I had to make another card so I made this card for the challenge over at Pollycraft. I coloured the image with my copics, distressed the edges of the papers and then added some glitter to finish it off!!..oh and I cut an additional toadstool out for a 3D effect....

Papertake Weekly challenge

I just love this....I made this for the Papertake Weekly Challenge. The image is Bubble Bee from Sugar Nellie which I gently coloured using my copics and airgun...still practising... and the backing papers are MME..aren't they gorgeous?? The theme is buttons, bows, brads and bling...which I have managed all four although the bling is her glittered wings which you can't really see.
