Well it's almost the end of another year but first there's cards to be made!! This wasn't what I started out making but I just love these little Gorjuss Girls. I have coloured the image with copics, cut her out and layered her onto an embossed oval. the papers are Crate Papers - Pink Plum collection...forgot I had them. I made the roses with my sizzix 3D flower die and added a birthday message....oh and I also added some stickles to the flowers and the edge of the dress...might re take the photo in daylight.

Cutie christmas..
Hi everybody, hope you are all warm and cosy!! Well the snow came back yesterday and it's been so freezy and icy and the snow has to come back again tomorrow!! Oh no!! Well I have only managed this card today as I have had to do housework and stuff as I had to work my day off yesterday to make up for the day I had off when the snow was at it's worst but I did get my Tesco shopping delivered before I went to work...yay...food again!! Onto the card....I bought this stamp at the SECC in October and believe it or not this is the first time I have used it and it's so cute...the pink on her dress looks a bit too pink but IRL it is more red. The stamp is of course from LOTV and coloured with copics and the Papers are Echo Park - Wintertime. I punched some stars for this card as I felt they went better with the image rather than snowflakes. Keep watching over the weekend too, to see if I make the final round of the Simply Sassy competition, I am keeping my fingers crossed...don't think I will win as there are some stunning creations but it's all fun taking part.

Seconds away...round 2 - Simply Sassy Competition!!
Well this isn't the best photo but I couldn't wait til Thursday when I will have daylight and my day off but I will take another then but for now here it is. I can hardly believe that I have actually made round 2 of the simply Sassy competition as there were so many beautiful entries. For our entries in round 2 over at Sugar Nellie's Simply Sassy competition is to create a card to whatever you like with the chance to win a Grand Excalibur and a DT spot.
So as you know I quite like to cut out my image and I quite like layers and I also love embossing so I added all of those features. I also wanted to do some stitching which I have done but to be honest it's a bit skew whiff as my machine was not playing with me and I think it may have spoiled it but maybe not...could be an added feature...squint stitching!! I have used Basic Grey - Marjolaine papers, a couple of little flowers I received in my candy win from Lesley which I thought matched quite well and of course some glitter. I hope you like it and even if this is as far as I get in the competition, it's all just fun taking part.

Paper Sundaes DT card
Well hello again all you Sundae bloggers. I hope the snow isn't too bad wherever you are. We had it really bad but it seems to be disappearing now thank goodness!! The challenge this week over at Paper sundaes is "anything but a square"...that's right.
We are being sponsored the by the wonderful Meljens Designs....who have lots and lots of beautiful images online. Well I was a bit iffy about this as normally the cards I make are square or rectangle however this is what I came up with. I cut the circle using a sizzix die and then layered the papers and card onto that, the papers are from Bo Bunny Midnight Frost collection. The image is Caroling snowmen from Meljens which have been coloured with copics, I added some snowflakes and glitter.
Pixie Dust Studio - let it snow
Digital Tuesday - baby it's cold outside
Paper Cutz - snowflakes/snowmen
Alphabet Challenge - g for glitter
Stamp Something - digi

A Christmas angel...
Hi all...I hope you are safe and cosy in this weather. I think the worst of it has passed but there is more snow forecast for next week. First I have to apologise to Sue cos I said I would take some photos of the park along the way a bit...sorry Sue but the snow is still too deep to wade through and now it has gone a bit icy but it's also starting to come off the trees but if it returns next week then I will try again. Let me see what dramas have I had this week...well my wellies burst so I had no other option that to put my hubby's old boots on...they were so cosy...pity I looked a bit like Crusty the clown but who cares at least my feet were dry but they have given me some blisters around my ankles as they were rubbing cos they were tooooo big!! Next drama and please do not laugh....Tuesday night I spotted a giant icicle hanging so I thought I would get it...it was begging me so out I went with the shovel but as I am a small person I couldn't quite reach so I had a brainwave...I stood on a little snow hill and jumped up to attack it with the shovel....the kind of move you would make if you were shooting a basketball into a net... well what a shot,I hit it and it hit me back...right on the nose and it burst my nose and I have a bruise. I couldn't believe how fast it came down as I thought I would see it crack and then fall but no...I wasn't even standing directly under it...so beware of giant icicles!!
Onto the card...I have used papers from Bo Bunny - Midnight Frost collection, I embossed a panel with the same patterned paper, the image is from Sugar Nellie and coloured with copics, I punched the snowflakes, the message is from a CC Designs sentiments set and I added some stickles glitter.

Welcome all my Sundae bloggers and once again my scheduled post!! As I am typing this I am not sure if I will be at work on sundae...that all depends on the weather so best to schedule it. The challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is to make something you will be sending as a gift. I have made this little gift bag which I am going to send to my SIL this Christmas...of course with a gift inside. The papers I have used are from Echo Park - Wintertime....loving them just now. The image is from CC Designs which has been coloured with copics. I added glitter to give it a more shimmery look and of course a snowflake. Our sponsor this week is the fubulous Stamp & Create, they stock hundreds of stamps and accessories, so one lucky winner is in for a treat so what are you waiting for!! I have entered this in the following challenges.

3 cards in 1 post....
Well what is this snow like...I spent nearly all day yesterday clearing snow...today I felt like I had been in the ring with Mike Tyson...I am all sore and achy!! Anyway I had kind of started these yesterday but finished them today. The first card I thought would be fun to do....I have no idea where I got the sentiment stamp, the papers are Colourful Christmas from MME, I added some snowflakes and glitter.....easy peasy. I have entered this card in the following challenges.
charisma - sketch
The Creative Cottage - non traditional colours
Top Tip Tuesday - anything goes
Totally Stampalicious - anything goes
The second card I have made using Midnight Frost papers from Bo Bunny...they are really beautiful IRL. The image is from CC Designs which I coloured with copics and to give Emma's apron a see through look, I stamped it again onto vellum and layered it under the ribbon. I punched some snowflakes with the Martha Stewart snowflake punches and added some glitter. This card has been entered in the following challenges.
Cupcake - light it up
Papertake Weekly - sketch
ABC christmas Challenge - Y - Yuletide
Cute Card Thursday - The blues
Paper cutz - 2 papers
Paperplay - monochrome
Oh...this took me a few attempts at colouring this image as I wasn't happy with it. Originally I wanted to do blue and pink but it didn't look right, then I tried blue and red and that didn't look right either so I finally settled for this....I am much happier with this one. The image is Siku and Shiya from Mo Manning which I coloured with copics, I added white glitter on the furry parts of their jackets. The papers are Basic Grey Figgy which I thought looked good with the image. I am waiting on the Eskimo Kisses papers coming along with some other stuff but due to the weather not sure when they will come so decided just to go with these ones. I punched some snowflakes and added glitter. I have entered the following challenges.
