Birthday wishes...

I've been diddling away at this card off and on all day in between housework etc.. This stamp was one of my buys at the SECC which is from LOTV and I have coloured her with copics. The papers are from MME Stella Rose collection. The flowers are cut using a die-namics die from My Favourite Things which I have to say I am loving as it's just so simple. I had to add some glitter to this image. I have entered the following challenges.

New beginnings at Dream Valley Challenges

It's time for another challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges. We had such a fabulous turn out for challenge 1 so keep it up girlies as we have lots of fab challenges and sponsors coming up. The theme this week is "New Beginnings" so whether it's a new baby, new job, new house or a wedding...it's up to you as long as it fits a new beginning. Pop over and see what the rest of the DT have created....

This week we are sponsored by Crafty Ribbons and as it's the beginning of the month we also have our monthly sponsor One Stop Card Crafts.

My card this week is quite plain. I embossed sections of the card and layered it onto black card, the image is Mr & Mrs from LOTV which has been gently coloured with copics, I added lace and ribbon although you can hardly see the lace, I also added a couple of little pearls and a message. I have entered the following challenges:

Fussy and Fancy - embossing
Alphabet Challenge - R for ribbon

Just a sprinkling of Star Dust....

Hi all...I haven't had much time this week to make much as I have been working extra as Lynn is still off sick but she is coming back to work on Monday...woo hoo!! This one of the new sugar Nellie stamps I bought at the SECC yesterday...isn't she fab?? I coloured her with copics and did some shading with pencils. The papers are new and they are MME - Stella Rose and they are fab....my favourite colours, blues, greens and browns and with other colours added in too. I made the rolled flower myself as my rolled flower die seems to have vanished...grrr!! I added the little happy birthday message and finished with a touch of glitter on the star dust...hope you like.
