Paper Sundaes DT card...

Good afternoon Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post.

This is somewhat of a sad post as this is my last card for Paper Sundaes, my time has come to an end :( This was my first DT post and I couldn't believe my luck when I was asked to join the team 1 year ago...yes girlies how the time has flown. This was also the hardest decision ever as it was my first DT post and it will always have a special place in my heart. Paper Sundaes is a fab team to be on and Shana and Christine do a fab job in running the blog, all the girls are great to work with and do an awesome job too....will miss you all so much but I will keep stalking you..

Today's challenge over at Paper sundaes is make a Maggie themed card.

For my card I have use an image that the lovely Debbie stamped for me ages ago, I coloured her with copics. The papers are from MME - Hattie collection, I added some pearls and a ribbon to finish.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge #66

Ooh....I am so excited this morning for 2 reasons, firstly, this is my first DT card for The Sugar Bowl. What started as a bit of fun on Facebook led to bigger and better things so you never know ladies. The lovely Gayle asked Cathy and I if we would like to join The Sugar Bowl Design Team...well how could either of us turn that down....are we mad!! NO!!

So this fortnight we have Marlena's fabulous sketch below...

...and of course the optional theme which is "for the girls".
One lucky winner chosen at random will receive 4 stamps of their choice but wait for it...if we get more than 100 entries then it will be 6 stamps...how fab is that??

For my card I have used a few of my favourite things...the image is Gorjuss Flower Girl from Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Funky Kits, I coloured her using the feathering technique with copics and then cut her out to give her a 3d effect on the card, the papers are MME - Blush collection. I added some buttons, a flower and a little message which is also from the same MME collection, I finished with a touch of stickles around the edges of the layers...oh yes which I stitched!! hope you like my first DT card for the Sugar Bowl.

My second reason for being excited is because today marks the start of our Sneak Week...

A quickie before bed...

Good evening folks....might need to re take this photo in the morning but wanted to post it tonight. I think this is going to be my final card for this week's Sugar Bowl Challenge!! The papers are from MME - Mischievous collection, the image is a Manga girl from Sugar Nellie and coloured with copics. I made a couple of rolled flowers and added some liquid pearls to the centre...hope you like.

Simply Sassy Spotlight...

Hi Sassy fans...well when Maria asked me a couple of weeks ago if she could spotlight me on the Simply Sassy blog...I was so excited..wow and of course I said yes!! Now I'm not sure which cards she picking from my blog to show but she asked me to also make a new one so here it is. I have used Pillow Talk, which you can buy from Funky Kits, and coloured her with copics, the papers are from MME - Blush collection which I really like, it's hard for me to stay away from the blue tones but I really like these papers, the embellishments are also from the same collection and I have used some kraft card too. I have seen lots of cards recently using kraft card and it's really effective. I thought I would make a card using some of my favourite things, well what do I like.... I like stitching even though it always seems to be a bit wonky and I do like layers too. I have also used my MFT flower die and the notebook edge die. Hope you likey!!

Good evening folks...I nearly forgot!! It's been a bit hectic this weekend...working yesterday and today and last night I was at a reunion, oh it was great!! I was a good girl since I was working today and only had a few drinks but it was a late one and an early rise so I will be heading to bed shortly!!

Paper Sundaes DT card...

For my card I have used MME - Be Merry papers. The stamp is Stitched Tree from Hero Arts, which you can buy here from Simon Says Stamp, I cut the tree out and layered it onto the card, I also added some stitched doodling...first time I have done that and wasn't very sure but I think it goes with the image. I added some buttons and twine. I have entered the challenges below.

Thank You...

A quickie this afternoon in between the housework!! I just love this little stamp so I thought I would make good use of her. Now isn't a colour combo I would normally go for but I thought the green and pink looked quite good together. The stamp is from LOTV which I have coloured with DI's...ooh luv them!! A Christmas Sassy...

Good evening folks and a quick post from me. Here is my next card for The Sugar Bowl challenge...not a Christmas stamp but it could be..what do you think?? The papers a mix from my stash, can't remember which brands they are but they are Christmas ones!! The image is "Little Light of Mine" from the Simply Sassy range of Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Funky Kits, I have coloured her with copics, added the snowflakes, glitter and wonky stitching.




Today is the anniversary of the death of my nephew who was tragically taken from us 6 years ago after being dropped off at school so as a special wee tribute to him I am going to offer 2 Sugar Nellie stamps to one lucky follower from the next release of stamps....so just leave a comment by Sunday 21st at 9pm on this post and I will choose a comment at random. Fashionista....and some news!!

Good morning fellow bloggers. Here we are then the last day of my holiday and it's done nothing but rain!! This is the first of my posts today although housework permitting whether I can more posted or not..first of I will share my news since I have had the official email from the lovely Gayle. this is the very last time I can enter The Sugar Bowl Challenge....oh no I hear you say but that's because....you may or may not have seen the post yesterday on The Sugar Bowl, well if you didn't I have been asked to join The Sugar Bowl Design Team...how fab is that?? I am still jumping and clapping and all excited as I love Sugar Nellie stamps so much and this is just perfect...the sugar on the cake!! Thank you so much Gayle, I feel so lucky and honoured to be part of the team!!




So for my card, which is my favourite colour combo...brown, green and blue I have used MME - So Sophie papers, the stamp is Fashionista from Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Funky Kits, I coloured her with copics this time, I punched the scallop border and as I still haven't found my MFT rolled flower die, I have cut those by hand, added a couple of buttons and a message....oh that wonky stitching too!!

Snips and snails....

Good morning bloggers and my first card today...the race was on to be the first in The Sugar Bowl..Gayle challenged Cathy and I for the last challenge tyo make 6 cards each but we went one better and did 10 each!! In preparation for todays challenge, I had inked and coloured 5 images...none of which fitted todays challenge..so that will teach me for trying to be a smartie!! So mad rush to colour something blue...The papers were in my stash, think they are Making Memories, the image is from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics...hope you likey!!

I can see a rainbow....

I folks...this is just a quickie as I didn't realise Abi was posting my card. Well with all this rain we have been having up her in bonny Scotland, we'll eventually get a rainbow!! The challenge this week over at Sweet Stampin is rainbows or colours of the rainbow....and before anyone highlights "do I know the colours of the rainbow" yes I do but this was the only colours I had...lol!!

I am running out of sugar....

Good morning my fellow bloggers and another lovely day...well hopefully. I thought I would start the day of with some sugar.....now this is not something I have done often but I seen all the fab wow cards and they look great but I am not sure about this one...I have used white card and embossed the panels but layered it onto coloured card, added the wonky stitching. The image is once again Butterfly girl(which you can buy here from Funky Kits) which I have coloured with DI's...getting addicted to them and that's Elaine's fault!! I actualy stamped the image onto Fabriano card and then cut it out to stick to the white card...fabriano is slightly off white so it was a different shade of white for my card.

Here's a little cropped close up....I think I like her!!

What a blustery day...time for more sugar..

I added that good old wonky stitching and a fabby flower with a shiny thing in the centre that I got in a little goody bag from the lovely Elaine....hope you likey??

Ah, sugar......

Well bloggers...what can I say...looks like my job wasn't done!! I really made this card for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge but somehow it seems to have worked it's way on to the Sugar Bowl too...wonder how that happenend!! Now I couldn't crop this one down as much as I normally would do otherwise half the flower would be missing...

Now then the papers are from Echo Park - Country Drive, the image is Butterfly Girl from Simply Sassy at Sugar Nellie which I coloured with Di's. I also added some ink around the image. I also embossed the butterfly panel and added some ink to that too. I added some stitching aswell since I had extra time and a couple of punched putterflies which I inked aswell....now the flower I hear you ask...yes I did...I cut each of those petals out by hand, the circle in the centre...I used the lid of my tub of face cream as a template...knew it had more use than trying to take the wrinkles out my face!! I went to town on the ink and inked up the petals too....I think it looks really summery!!

Here I am again....

Hi girlies....I thought my job was done but apparently not!! I have posted another little cutie. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie - Birthday Peek a Boo which I coloured with copics. The papers are from Echo Park - Country Drive which are really pretty and I now need to buy more!! I added some stitching...only the one wonky part so I think I must be getting better, I embossed a plain white panel and added a sizzix daisy and stuck a little button in the middle...hope you likey!!
