At last....

 Good morning sugar fans and here we have the launch of the next batch of Sugar sweetness...they are just Crimbo fantastic!!

For my card I have used Festive Friends which I have coloured with copics, I added glitter to the furry bits on Santa's hat, the papers are Fancy pants Hot Chocolate...which I just love.  I layered the papwers onto kraft card and I distressed each of the layers.  I punched a couple of snowflakes and glittered them up.  I threaded a piece of thick twine around one of the layers and fixed with huge button and then finished with some pearls.

Surprise followers candy...

Hey all....hope you are well this Sunday!!

So, some of you may know that today marks the 8th anniversary of the tragic death of our wee Rory, it only seems like yesterday that he was tragically taken from us by a human called a monster.  It still hard to understand why a human being can be so cruel and horrible to another human being but especially a child.

James...

Good morning campers and my scheduled post...I almost forgot about it though!!

So today's challenge over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin is "winter animals"....another easy peasy one so I had to have James...how adorable is he??

So I have went for the quite CAS look for this one as I wanted to use my new dies from die-namics...the snowflake doily and the pierced circle...a perfect combination don't you think??  so I have used James from LOTV and coloured him with copics.  I only inked up the top section so he would fit in the circle, I also stamped an extra scarf and stuck it on top so that it hung below the circle...finished with lots of glitter!!

For my card I have used papers from The Sweet Shoppe, the stamp is Hazel and Nutty from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics. The flower is a die-namics layered rose...I tinted the edges of each alternate layer just to give a bit more depth. I also added a ribbon and some pearls....

Lili's Little Fairies DT card...

Good morning folks and my scheduled post!!

The challenge today over at Lili's Little Fairies is "one for the boys"....  

This was my rush job card and I have to say as boys cards go I think I quite like it!

The papers are MME - Oxford Lane which I layered onto bazzill card, the image is of course from LOTV which I coloured with copics...I also did some shading with polychromos and I finished with some buttons.

I'm feeling krafty...

Good morning sweet stampers and another wonderful Saturday!!

Well this is the last weekend off before back at work on Monday....needs must I suppose!!

So today's challenge over at Sweet Stampin is "use kraft"....an easy one as we all love kraft!!

We are sponsored this week by the fabby Cuddly Buddly and we also have our monthly sponsor The Ribbon Girl who are both giving a £10 voucher to their stores.

So for my card i have used paper from Prima Marketing - Lifetime collection, now I bought these papers at the SECC in March and had a bit of an incident with them on the way home...yes my friend forgot she had a cup of tea and drove off and the tea went all over the papers...well got them all dried off and after they were cleaned up and dried I gave them a wee iron just to take the bumps out...finally I got around to using them...lol!! The flower has been hand cut from the same papers, the stamp is from Lili of the Valley and I love it...so quick and easy!!

Snow is Falling...

Good morning folks and another post from me!!

Well first I thought I would give you a wee update on my new iphone...I am now loving it!!  You were all right!!  I have everything in the one place..emails, messages, calls, blogger, music and photos...love it!!

The challenge today over at Lili's Little Fairies is "Christmas in August"...a nice easy one.  

So for my card I have used one of the new Christmas stamps from LOTV...I just love snowmen and when I saw this stamp I knew it was a must.  I have coloured the snowmen with copics and done some shading with polychromos.  The papers are Fancy Pants Hot Chocolate...which are nearly finished....:(  The snowflakes have been punched in the same papers, the tree has also been cut with paper from the same collection.  I layered the papers onto kraft card and added some stitching to each of the layers and the distressed the edges.  The tags are also from LOTV and have been attached with some twine.  I finished with some pearls, giant gems and glitter...lots of it!!

A Little bit of Fashionista...

Happy Sunday everybody!!

So for today's card I have gone with colours a wee bit different to the norm..hope you likey!!

I have used papers from MME - On the Sunny Side, these papers are so perfect for summer...flowers, butterflies and the orangey yellows, the stamp is Fashionista from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics, now I chopped her legs off as she was too big to fit in the circle, think it looks ok like that...and lets you see you can use parts of a stamp.  I coloured the ribbon aswell as the original colour was just a tad too light so inked it up with some distress ink, I also inked up the doily as it looked a bit bland.  The flowers are made using the die-namics layered rose die...added some pearl brads to the centres and also some pearls in the corners.

A sprinkling of glitter...

Good morning Saturday bloggers....another blustery day here in sunny Scotland...lol!!

So I am up bright and early this morning as I want to get on with some card making...lots to make!!  I also need to play with my new iphone...now I really wasn't liking it yesterday when it arrived however by the time I went to bed last night I was getting used to it and I was feeling a bit happier with it.  I have now got some music on it too so even better...just need to practice with the alarm....that's why I am up early too...lol!!

Anyway...for my card this morning I have used papers from The Sweet Shoppe (which I love), the perfect colour of papers for me..I layered each of them onto bazzill card, distressed the edges and then also stitched each of them.  The stamp is Tilly from Saturated Canary which I coloured with copics...also added glitter to her wings and clothing.  the flowers are die-namics flower trio die and I added some pearls to the centres and also added pearls to the corners of each of the layers.
