A little bit of sugar...

 Morning folks!

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stamin Challenge Blog.

This time we want to see you use your old stash...for me it had to be one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps - Pippi.  I stamped her with black memento and coloured with copics.  I kept it clean and simple as I wanted the focus to be really on the stamp as she is such a cutie.

Just popping on to share this fun card I have made.  I love this stamp set and don't know why I never noticed it sooner.  The stamp set is from Concord & 9th...isn't it cool. 

I inked up some watercoloured card with lots of water and then I dropped a little green watercoloured ink on top....it was cool the effect it made, so I just kept repeating that process with different shades until I thought it looked kind of kiwi like.  Once dry I stamped the kiwi's and die cut them out and added this fab sentiment...oh and I die cut the hello.  I added some doodled edges in white...never doodled in white before but I think it look fine for this fun card.

It's time for the mid month reminder over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  The theme this month is stamp something for spring.

This months prize is the goodies below....fab isn't it!

For my card I stamped this little image onto white cardstock using black memento ink and coloured with copics...I really need to get back into using my pens.  I added a few dots to finish...quite plain and simple.

Simple Things

Hi folks,

Thought I would share this little card, I just love this stamp set, it's so pretty and simple to stamp once you get the knack of lining the stamps up. This time I thought I would ink up the stamp in greens rather than blues.  I die cut the sentiment....I do like how fine the wording is....I finished with a few enamel dot

For my card, I stamped the daffodil onto kraft card and coloured with caran d'ache luminance pencils. I do love them, they blend so easy.  I added some doodling around the edges too.

Orange so you...

 

Well 2 cards in one day!

And this is something different from m...and I said it wouldn't be leaves or blue and green....I white embossed the fruit slices and then watercoloured with concord & 9th watercolour ink.  I die cut some black and white slices and the word "sweet" and layered onto the card.  I added some sequins to finish.

Life is better with friends...

Hi folks,

I know its similar to ones I have made already but I love leaves and blue and green....my next card won't be blue and green I promise!

So I stamped the leaves with ink on 3 fadeout ink, I do love this ink as it gives the effect of no lines colouring especially once it has been left to dry for a day. I then coloured with concord & 9th watercolour  ink, I also love this ink as I feel it spreads easier that some of the other watercolour mediums I have.  I added some light shading in between the leaves and added some splashes too.

Morning folks,

I thought I would share this little card I made last night.  I was having a look through my old stash and came across this stamp from Stampin Up, which I really like, it's so easy to colour.  I stamped the image onto watercolour card and coloured with my zig pens, and I only needed to use 2 colours, green and yellow and blended them together.  I added a few tiny splashes and some gold paint to finish.
