Happy Birthday...

Morning folks,

It's time for the mid month challenge over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  The theme remains the same... anything goes with the option of using the sketch below.  You can interpret it however you like as long as the main focus is stamping...after all we are a stamping challenge blog.  

We also have a fab prize of Oakwood bundle of stamps and/or dies.

For my card I stamped and white embossed the background, I added some watercolours to the background.  I then stamped and coloured the flower in a darker shade of pink watercolour ink, and stamped the leaves in black.  I stamped some splodges as normal and added some sequins and finished with the birthday message.

It's your birthday...

Good morning sweet stampers, it's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog.

The theme this fortnight is "no squares" so I thought I would make a triangle shaped card.

I embossed the wall panel and added some distress ink, I also added some splodges.  I coloured those little dinosaurs with watercolour ink and added some spots of colour too, I then cut them out and layered them with sticky fixers onto the wall.  I also layered the sentiments with sticky fixers too.

And here's my second post today and some news!

So here is my first DT card for Dragonfly Dreams Challenge Blog, the lovely Helen asked me if I would like to join the team and of course I said yes.

The theme this month is "love", so lets see all your makes.

For my card I thought I would use this Penny Black stamp...it's plain, cool and easy to colour and I love it. This one is coloured with watercolours with some splashes and sequins added.  Oh yes and I doodled the edges too.

Hello Friend...

It's time for a new challenge over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  The theme is anything goes with the option of using the sketch below.  You can interpret it however you like as long as the main focus is stamping...after all we are a stamping challenge blog.  We also have a fab prize of Oakwood bundle of stamps and/or dies.

For my card I have used some little leaf stamps and stamped them in a circle, overlapping them as I went along.  I wasn't sure it was going in the right direction but I kept with it and it's turned out ok.

Beautiful Moments...

 

I thought I would share my latest creation using the beautiful moments stamp and die set from Gina K.  

I watercoloured the background and added a few splashes.  I stamped the branches and die cut them and stamped and die cut the vase.  I layered the vase on top of the leaves.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and added a few enamel dots to finish.

Howdy folks,

The weather seems to have got a bit milder today, thankfully, I just hope the snow stays away!  Before we go out and about and head for our doggy friendly lunch I thought I would share my latest make.

With my last purchase of Stampin Up goodies I received this stamp set as a freebie...I just love it, it's different but fab...well I think so anyway.

I stamped the carrot layers, added the stalks, some doodles and sequins...so easy and quick!
