Girly but no Pink...

Good morning folks...I feel I am finally getting back to normal now and back on track with the cards.

There's a new challenge over at Sweet Strampin and the theme is "girly but no pink"....easy peasy!!

I have used papers from MME Noteable collection.  The stamp is "tell me something" from the Leanne Ellis collection from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits.  I have coloured the image with copics and then used some polychromos to do some shading.  I also added a tiny gem to her finger...where the ring should be..The flower has been cut using my die-namics layered rose die.  I have added a little pearl brad to the centre.  I also added a ribbon bow to finish it off...oh and oops some doodling!!

My favourite 5..ish creations of 2013...

As if it wasn't hard enough choosing 5 Christmas cards, I now have to choose 5 others....well not sure if I can stick to 5!!

 This has to be one of my favourites...love the stamp, papers and the die...

This was a special card I made for a new baby which turned out well considering I don't make many baby cards.

I love this sketch and I do use it lots but I love these colours....

These Lili of the Valley stamps are just perfect for a quick card....so effective too...

I just love these little fairies and this card took me ages but another one I am pleased with...

This was something different which involved no colouring, just sponging with distress inks...

I was so chuffed with this card as I don't really do digis, not that I don't like them...printer isn't the best, but I think it turned out well...

Peek-a-boo birthday...

Hey everybody...hope you have all had a fabby Christmas!!

So this is my first post on my new laptop, a new photo editor programme too so I am still trying to figure that out hence the rubbishy watermark....the colours may need tweeked a bit too but I am practising!!

I was beginning to have withdrawal symptoms with no pc which meant I was really crafting either so this is also the first card I have made in a few weeks.  The stamp is Peek-a-boo birthday from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics.  The digi papers are from the Sweet Shoppe.  The flowers have been cut using my die-namics layered rose die.  I added some glitter and gems to finish....hope you kike it!!

My Favourite Five Christmas cards of 2013

Howdy folks...I have been such a bad blogger over the past few weeks but I had to work lots of extra shifts but most of all my pc died however Santa brought me a new laptop and it's up and running but I am still getting to grips with it....

The lovely Debby as always is having us all post our own favourite Christmas cards, so I have added my selection below...hope you likey!!

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 111

Good morning sugar fans....it seems ages since I have been on myblogbut I have been working extra, been unwell and then my pc packed in and my work laptop doesn't seem to be compatible with bloggeror picasa...what a nightmare!!I think Santa might bring me a new one though cos I have been a good girl this year...

So on with today and there's another challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. This months theme is "fairies"....now with all those new fairies in the recent launch you'll be spoiled for choice.

For my card I have used one of those gorgeous new fairies...does she look familiar? I coloured this little cutie with copics and did some shading with polychromos.... The papers are Tis the Season from Echo Park. The snowflakes have been cut with my let it snowflake die-namics which I glittered up...
