Well folks...worried I hear you ask?? Tonight my son is staying at his girlfriends as they both go on holiday to Turkey tomorrow. Now he has just said his goodbyes and said he won't be using his phone as it's too expensive so not to bother texting or phoning him...for a fortnight...I don't think so...I have already lost 3 stones and I don't want to loose another 3 stones!! I bought him his sun cream as he wasn't going to bother....em yes you will bother!! Now on Monday they said they had printed their boarding passes for going but couldn't print the ones for coming back home so ...wait for it...asked me if they just took the holiday receipts would that be enough to let them on the plane...oh my word, I am worried now!! They do now have the boarding passes for coming home thank goodness!! The good thing is they are all inclusive so they will be fed for the fortnight so at least I know he will be ok foodwise....

Oh dear! Mine are still young (12 and 8) but guess it doesn't matter how old they are ... us Mum's will still worry! Hope they have a great holiday but guess the next 2 weeks are going to feel like a life time to you.

oh! Fi the worries of being a mum...I wonder why we all aren't as skinny as rakes...lol My girls have been married 28yrs and I still worry when they are away....lol plus you then have the grandkids :O it goes on forever. xx

I've got all this to come, Fi! I'm already worrying a bit about Gregor going on his school trip abroad next year and that's with staff I know! I'd definitely be wanting to phone or text while they're away, just to be sure that everything is OK - which I'm sure it will be. Wains! xx
Ha ha this is what we all do when they go away for the first time.
My daughter is amazing and books holidays for all her lot, she is a whizz and can literally run a small country!! Matthew on the other hand is not as good, by a long shot./ Must admit he is slightly better than your little man, but is still useless!!
They DO cope tho' and my Son would NEVER starve!
He will be fine, you just take a deep breath. Dx
