Spectrum Noir tutorial

I wanted to share with you how I coloured this little cutie using my Spectrum Noir Markers and my e-brush.

The image I have used is from Stampendous and is called Nosey Cat.  I stamped the image using black ink onto white Neenah cardstock.

Next I stamped the image again onto masking paper, I cut out the eyes and nose and stuck them on top of the image. I also added the masking paper around the image as I don't want the ink to go onto the white space.

Next, using my e-brush I gently sprayed the edges of the cat with IG2.

Next I sprayed on IG4 to the top of the head and top of the nose.

Next I sprayed with IG6, gently around the edges that I had already coloured.

Now next I stuck down another mask to cover up the image which I have just coloured, you will notice the eyes and nose are peeking through.  I coloured the nose using TN2 and the eyes with DG2.

Once I was happy with the shading I removed all the masks to reveal the image below.

The final addition is some white gel to highlight the eyes, I also went around the eye area with my black fineliner as some of the green had seeped under the mask.

And the final card!

I also have a candy giveaway.....some fabby Spectrum Noir goodies to giveaway, so check it out here!!
