Warm Wishes...

Good morning folks.....it's Wednesday and time for my scheduled post.

Today I am combining 2 DT cards in one....I think that's a good idea as it gives both blogs more exposure!!

Firstly, it's my turn over on the Sugar Nellie blog, so why not pop over and check out my post.

Now this stamp is called Warm Wishes at Sugar Nellie and is one of my favourite Christmas stamps....it's just so pretty...it's not available in rubber but is available in digi format here!!

Secondly, the challenge over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin is glitter, glitter everywhere....you can never have enough glitter!!

The papers are from Echo Park - tis the Season which have been layered onto bazzill card.  I coloured the stamp with copics and then did a bit of shading with polychromos.  I cut out the image and layered it onto to the snowflake doily which id from die-namics and to finish added the snowflakes all glitzed up with glitter....hope you likey!!

Hark the herald angels sing...

Well in between the housework I have been playing too.  I coloured this image last night and finished it off this morning.

I followed the sketch below.

The papers are from Echo Park - Winter Wishes, the snowflakes are from Martha Stewart although I punched them myself and glittered them up.  The ribbon and charm was in my stash forever.  The stamp is from LOTV which I coloured with copics and shaded with polychromos....and I added some doodling around the edges.

Fab photo at Sweet Stampin'...

For my card I have used Fancy Pants - Summers end papers, the image is one of my new stamps from Lili of the Valley which I coloured with copics. The flowers and ribbon are also new and they are from Tim Holtz, they were originally off white and I coloured them with DI's, you can't really see the ribbon however I had fun colouring them so I will defo be trying that again.

Just beachy....

Good afternoon Sundae bloggers and my last scheduled post for a couple of weeks cos I am on holiday...yay!! I am not going anywhere as hubby's holiday's are not until after mine and I went on on holiday on my own with 2 kids a couple of years ago...it was hard!! So I will doing some decorating in the bathroom and the kitchen and a couple of days here and there and of course some cardmaking too!!

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hello all you Sundae bloggers and once again my scheduled post however I am on holiday for 5 days after today....woo hoo...guess what I'' be doing when I'm off?? That's right...lots of cards. todays challenge over at Paper sundaes is "masculine3 colours"...now it doesn't have to be a masculine card but as long it has masculine colours.

For my card I have used Basic Grey - archaic papers which have been in my stash for ages and I think are perfect colours for a man. Sweet Stampin' DT card....

Well good morning all and a Haaaaappy New Year to you all. Would you believe it...I am so excited today as this is my first DT card for Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme this week is to create a card/project from inspiration from your favourite song. Well I have lots of favourites and have gone with this one...can you guess what it is?? Well I have taken my inspiration from "Jai Ho" sung by The Pussycat Dolls for two reasons...first I love Slumdog Millionnaire, the song featured in that film and secondly...as you know I go to a Zumba class and this is my favourite song to shake it to..makes me feel like a teenager again!! The image is from Tiddly Inks - Aisha which has been coloured with copics, I did a bit of blending on the dress and I thought I would cut Aisha out....since I like to do that. The DP is from Scenic Route - Laurel...lots of rich orange, pinks and reds. I stamped the letters onto the same matching paper and cut them out. I punched out the flowers and added some jewels and glitter....hope you like it.

Paper Sundaes DT card

Hello Sundae bloggers and my scheduled post....yes working again. This week the challenge over at Paper Sundaes is to use 3 or more embellishments....I kind of forgot about the embellishments until after I had finished the card and as I am having PC problems I wasn't sure if I would have time to make another and get it posted so I had to make do with what I had but I'm sure you have loads of embellishments to choose from.

Our sponsor this week is Belles 'n' Whistles...they have lots of beautiful stamps.

I have used Bo Bunny Papers for this card as they are a bit summery and I thought they went well with the Belles 'n' Whistles stamp. I also added some chalked clouds to the background as it needed something else. I have coloured this one with copics and my 3 embellies are the cloud, sun and button.

Summer Fun

Good morning all..hope you are having a lovely Saturday morning....well her is the first of today's cards. I have loved this image from the moment I saw it...it's so fun...it looks like my friend's little lhaso apso...and he's just so cute!! The papers are Bo Bunny's Sun Kissed collection and the image is from Wags 'n' whiskers which I coloured with copics...I am going to try out Holly's Promarkers in a bit for a change. I thought these papers were very summery and I have tried to make it look like the sun in the sky and the strip of blue is to resemble to sea??..oh and I made the sun by die cutting a daisy and snipping the ends of to make the petals look more like rays... Happy Birthday to you....

Another rainy day here...what can I say!! These are new Echo Park papers which I bought last week so I thought today was as good a time as any to use them....now this one was a bit of a disaster but I think I have rescued it....I bought one of the pearl pens from Quixotic and added this to the corners...then I forgot I had done that and stuck my thumb right on top...so I had a brainwave!! i thought I will wait until it is dry an then pick it off...only thing it took some of the paper off too so I had to make the dots slightly bigger than had wanted but I think it looks ok. I have coloured Brigitta and the fence with copics...Brigitta is from All That Scraps and the fence is from Pollycraft. I distressed the edges of the paper and around the circle and added a message which was in my stash...no flowers!! I have entered this card in the challenges below...remember I have candy..

Princess birthday

Hi all..it's a lovely sunny evening here for a change and it's the start of my 2 week holiday from work...but not going to the sun unfortunately so I will have plenty of time to play!!
So onto the card...the image is from Tiddly Inks which I have coloured with copics...this was a great image to practice doing shiny hair with so I hope it gives the right effect, the papers, ribbon and buttons were in my stash..and I also punched the scallop and layered the message onto that an then finishe off ith some glitter on the image fo that dazzly look. Sweet Pea

Well...I have made this card for a few challenges today. The backing papers are Crate Papers - Brook Collection, the sweet pea has been stamped and coloured with copics. I thought I would cut part of her as I quite like doing that......I just love these stamps! I added a couple of flowers and some ribbon...Faye you will like that ribbon...very soft and fluffy.

A few more challenges

I am about to start some housework...so a quickie!! The Penny Black stamp was in my stash and looking a bit neglected so I thought I would put her to use today....when I bought this it was one of my favourite stamps. More Crate Papers - Mia collection this time, I cut the flowers from the same papers wih my sizzix, touched up the edges of the petals with ink, added buttons and a message...no glitter!!
