What...no colouring!

Good morning campers and my scheduled post...yes working again!!

So over at My Mum's Craft Shop there's some more inspiration this week with what's available to buy in the shop...here's my inspiration for this week.

I had been eying up this little tree for a while, as I do like trees but couldn't think what I would use it for...anyway I decided to go ahead and buy it and I am so glad I did...I just love it!!

I cut out a pale blue circle and embossed it, then layered it onto bazzill card and distressed around the edges. The cloud has also bee cut from blue paper.  The trees were cut from different coordinating green paper...oh and some doodling too!!

All dies are MFT die-namics...flat bottomed cloud, terardrop tree and the wonky scallop....you can buy them all from the shop.

oooh another digi...

Howdy doody my fellow bloggers...did I tell you I am on holiday from work today...and I should really be doing some housework which I will do once I have got my priorities sorted.

So since I got so many lovely comments yesterday on my digi colouring, i thought I would do another!!  I have to say I can colour these more easily with pencils than pens!!  I have used papers from MME - My girl...which are just devine!!  The image is Alicia from Sugar Nellie and I coloured her with copics and then polychromos.  The flowers are die-namics trio die.  I added some pearls to the centres of the flowers and at the corners of the layers.

papers - MME My Girl - My Mum's Craft Shop
image - Alicia - Funky Kits
pearl pen - funky Kits
polychromos - Hobbycraft

phew...at last

Hey sweet bloggers....at last I have managed a post today!!  now I have made several attempts at coulouring these beautiful digis from Sugar Nellie...but I am so rubbish at it!!  This was was my best effort and has taken me most of the day to colour but I have to say that I am quite pleased with it given what the others looked like!!

So the digi is called Amber from Sugar Nellie and I coloured her with copics and polychromos.  The colouring seemed to work best when I coloured a base with the copics and then built up the colour with the pencils....will try this method again but not today!

I saw the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday was an eye for detail and to me that meant a face focusing on the eyes...I do love Amber's eyes!!

I have used papers from MME - Unforgettable which I will need to buy more of cos these are so gorgeous and I cannot run out!! I distressed each of the layers before layering onto bazzill card, then I also distressed the card.  I made the flower from some felt with my die-namics rolled daisy, the flourish is from Magnolia.  There is dotty ribbon underneath the flower but I think it has taken over that spot on the card. I added a piece of aqua lace and some tiny pearls to the image to finish...hope you like.

supplies:
lace - Funky Kits
image - Amber - Sugar Nellie Funky Kits

Good morning sweet stampers and the first of my scheduled posts today.

Today's challenge over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' is snowflakes....you can never have enough snowflakes.

Our sponsor this month is Funky Kits who are giving 2 Gorjuss Girl stamps from Personal Impressions.

For my card I have used Daisyboardabella and coloured her with copics.  The papers are Fancy Pants - Hot Chocolate which are so scrummy and I have nearly ran out!!  I layered the papers onto kraft card and distressed the edges.  I also punched out some snowflakes in kraft to match, I added some pearls to the centres of them and also glitzed them up with stickles.  I added a huge button and twine and a charm with a couple of little tags to finish off...but wait...have you spotted that snowflake doily??  The lovely Faye sent me some of those MFT snowflake doily die cuts as the die is out of stock and I have been trying to get it for a while...thank you my fluffiness!!
