Flutter of Joy...

 Morning folks,

It's been a busy week, I'm just back from my big birthday holiday up north which was fab, the weather was glorious, the scenery is amazing and we actually saw lots of dolphins this time...they were soooo cool!  Only a few more weeks until we are back again!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog.

The theme for this challenge is "clean and simple".

For my card I have used this sweet butterfly set from Altenew, I stamped the butterflies with archival ink and added some subtle watercolours to the image.  I then added some splashes and sequins to finish.

Happy Birthday...

 

Morning sweet stampers and Happy New Year!

I have been choked with the cold and been left with an annoying cough but it's getting better thankfully.

It's time for the first challenge of 2024 over on the Sweet Stampin challenge blog.  The theme is "new"...interpret that in which ever way you like but remember to use stamping.

For my card I used a new background stamp, first I coloured up the background with watercolours and once dried I stamped the birthday wording. I added some splashes of white paint and some gems.  I also die cut a candle and the birthday and layered them on the card...you can kind of see from the image below.

Happy Christmas...

 

Morning folks, I'm here with my mid month post.

The challenge over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge blog this month is to use your favourite colours, please remember to use at least one element of stamping.

This is the prize up for grabs this month.

Four A5 stamp sets from Highlight Crafts, two winners each receiving two sets.

For my card I stamped and white embossed the snowflake background, I then masked off the centre section and added some watercolours, I then added more colour to some of the snowflakes that sit outside of the centre panel.  I added some gems, splashes and the die cut sentiment to finish.

This your day...

 

Morning everybody, it's time for another challenge over on the Less is More blog.

This fortnight, the theme is...

For my card I created a little beach scene with watercolours, once dry I stamped on the boulder, grass and pebbles.  I layered onto a square of rose gold and then layered onto the card.  I added the sentiment and a couple of sequins to finish.

Yummy ice lollies...

 

Hi folks,

I made this card for one of the girls at work, I think it turned out ok and very apt this week given the heat...so ice lollies at the ready ha ha!

 I stamped the ice lollies and coloured them with watercolours, I added some watercolour to the background...to give the effect of the lollies melting ha ha!  I added some splodges and sequins to finish.

Sweet Stampin DT card...

 

Hi folks!

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog.  This fortnight's theme is "Masculine".  Pop over and check out what the rest of the team have made.

Masculine cards are not my best and have been looking for some inspiration for a while....and then I came across this little stamp from Sugar Nellie which I love and for me this was where my love for stamping really started.

I coloured the image using my caran d'ache luminance pencils...they are so delish especially on kraft card, they almost melt, such a joy to work with.  I added a little sentiment and some dots to finish.

Wish upon a star in autumn...

Morning bloggers....almost the weekend again and I will be back at work :( but never mind somebody's got to do it!! I made this card last night mainly for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge which did actually throw me a bit. The papers are just delish they are Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar and the image is "Wish upon a Star" from Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Funky Kits. I coloured this little sweetie with copics....now I quite like the feathering technique and then blending the colours together and this little skirt is the perfect size to add a few colours too. Although this is a Christmas fairy, I think she could be used anytime of the year but this is mix of autumn and Christmas....hope you likey!!

Paper Sundaes DT card

Here we are with another Sunday and my scheduled post. The challenge this week over at Paper sundaes is winged things and our sponsor this week is Wags 'n' Whiskers...woo hoo!! Why not pop over and take part. For my card I have used one the new stamps from Stamp & Create and she is called Hannah...I think she's pretty!! It's Christmas....

I've been on a roll today but this card took me ages. I managed to fix my sewing machine so I tried real stitching on this one however I have missed a couple of stitches at the corners but I hopefully will get better at the stitching....I think it finishes off a card. I have used Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers, and layered it onto bazill card which I distressed, the image is from LOTV which has been coloured with copics and then I added some shading with waterpencils and then finished off with some glitter on James's hat and a snowflake!! I have entered the following challenges.

A few challenges..

Morning Friday bloggers...well still not been on that much as my PC has to go back to Mr Fix It man on Monday so I am still using Michael's laptop when I can however it needs to go to Mr Fix It Man too as he has forgotten the password to get into the main account where all his stuff is and the account I use doesn't have administration rights...never rains but it pours and that's not just the weather!! So I am on a mission to get some cards made and posted today and my scheduled one for Sunday. For this I used Crate Papers and the stamp is from Mo Manning(which the lovely Linds sent me)and coloured the image with Promarkers....still don't have a big range of colours....yet, but I think I like them as they are easy to control and you can still do the same with them as you can with copics. The message was punched out using the Stampin Up word window punch and I also punched 2 strips of scalloped edging.I added 3 flowers made with the die-namics rolled flower die and glittered it up a bit. I have entered the challenges below.

Summer Fun

Good morning all..hope you are having a lovely Saturday morning....well her is the first of today's cards. I have loved this image from the moment I saw it...it's so fun...it looks like my friend's little lhaso apso...and he's just so cute!! The papers are Bo Bunny's Sun Kissed collection and the image is from Wags 'n' whiskers which I coloured with copics...I am going to try out Holly's Promarkers in a bit for a change. I thought these papers were very summery and I have tried to make it look like the sun in the sky and the strip of blue is to resemble to sea??..oh and I made the sun by die cutting a daisy and snipping the ends of to make the petals look more like rays... Sweet christmas wishes...

Krilla

I saw this stamp on another blog a few weeks ago and thought I need that!! I think it's fun...all the other pretty girlie stamps and then there's these ones....well all I can say is this is what happens when you eat all the choklit!! ( i'm only kidding and I hope nobody is offended). This is Krilla and I got her from a Norwegian website..Scrapmagasinet...coloured her with copics and the rest of the stuff I had in my stash. Cutie Pie

I couldn't make my mind up what to make today...I have waste so much time just doing bits and bobs with the cards but nothing at the end...anyway I have came up with this card which fits a few challenges. I made this card for a few challenges today... The backing papers are MME - Quite contrary, I downloaded he image from The Stamping Boutique and coloured with copics and stamped the message...finished off with loads of glitter but you can't really see it in the photo...hope you like it.
