This is such a fab sketch that we had to keep going...there's no stopping us!! The stamp is of course from Sugar Nellie - Festive Friends which I have coloured with copics, the papers are so scrummy, they are from Fancy Pants - hot chocolate collection, I added my usual wonky stitching and I distressed the layers of the card...thought that would help to take your eye away from the wonky stitching however it doesn't and the punches are Martha Stewart Arctic snowflake and Himalayan snowflakes....hope you like...oh and I added some glitter to the furry bits!! I am now off for some some in the garden.

Simply Sassy GDT Call

Well I eventually decided to go for it....as you know I, as well as many others, love Simply Sassy stamps and what better opportunity to display these fabby stamps than being a Guest Designer for them. You can check out the full details here at the Simply Sassy Blog.

Photobucket

Now the difficult decision was to try and choose my 3 favourite cards, now what I might think are MY favourites might not be other people's favourites so her goes.....I see Cathy had a bit of trouble sticking to 3 aswell....

The first card I have chosen is Luv a Latte, now I chose this one as this was the first card I made using DI's to colour the image. Also my favourite colour combo is blues, greens and brown and my favourite flower die too.

I thought I would choose Fashionista with slightly different papers as I don't normally do pale papers, not sure about the flowers on this one though.

I have picked Hippie chick as she was one of the first Sassy's I bought and I just love her big eyes...I think they are cool to colour and I have used copics to colour this one.

Next up....This Little Light, I picked this one as I spent quite a long time colouring this image again with DI's and although I wouldn't normally colour an image all green, I did feel quite chuffed with the end result on this one and I used a different flower die too!!

Last but not least....Bella Bunting is just so cool to colour, again I coloured this image with copics and then did some additional shading with pencils...lots of layers!!

I hope you like my selection and that you see the style that I like....

peek- a - boo....

Thought I would post this quick card while I am waiting on Michael phoning to say what's happening...i could be up a while. He is heading home early from T in the park as the gigantic wig wam him and his friends took has been wrecked and their sleeping bags are soaked...they are not happy bunnys!! Now as most of you know T in the Park is not really near anywhere and no train station and the nearest one being in Perth and the first train is at 5am to Edinburgh...oh the worries, no wonder I have grey hair!!

So when I say a quick card, I started colouring last night but put it all together tonight!!

The stamp is new from Sugar Nellie and is called Peek a Boo...isn't she purty?? I have coloured her with DI's. The papers used is from Kaisercraft - Utopia and First Edition - Up, Up & Away which I have stitched around. I punched 3 circle out and cut a spiral and rolled them into flowers...I did have a die but it seems to have gone AWOL. I added little pearls to the centres and layered them onto a section of a flourish die cut. I added the message and a little glitter to the pressie and balloons...hope you likey!!

Sweet Stampin DT card..

Good morning sweet stampers and my Saturday morning scheduled post. The challenge this week at Sweet Stampin is "Something Unusual" now that means you have to use something on your creation that you wouldn't necessarily use for cardmaking/crafts.

Now I was a bit baffled and was raking the house trying to find something but then I got some inspiration from Jenny and hey presto.....a little bandage in place of ribbon and the flowers have been cut from absorbant lint....they were tricky little blighters!!

We are sponsored this week by Tiffany Doodles...
