Paper Sundaes DT card

Welcome all my Sundae bloggers and another weekend scheduled post...Before I tell you about today's challenge over at Paper sundaes is I must share my traumatic event that happened at work yesterday.

Please don't laugh..I had a little mishap...as you know we have moved to big new, shiny, freezing cold office. I am gradually loosing weight as it's a half mile trek to the printer, photocopier, loos, coffees etc...well some bright spark decided to keep all the cabinet keys in our new store room which is even further away. So away I went...swiped my pass to get into the store room and walked in, the door closed behind me and I stepped further into the room but the lights were not coming on, now in all other areas the lights are automatic and no switch is needed. No lights...no windows.. so I started working my way to a wall, I was feeling around the wall for the switch but couldn't find it (pitch black) so I thought need to open the door to let the light in to find the switch...oh no...the door is locked...now I am freaking out and I could feel myself begin to panic. I am now frantically groping and hyper ventilating trying to find the switch then I felt a knob..I was pushing that knob and I didn't care what alarm it set off but hey presto it released the door....phew what a relief!! I came back through to the office and Laura asked me what was wrong...of course she laughed but I needed a sit down and some chocolate after that. I was shaking for ages...

Anyway now on to the serious stuff...the challenge this week over at Paper Sundaes is "pop it up". At first I was a bit scared as I was thinking jack in the boxes but all we need to see is something that pops out on your card.

Our sponsor this week is Michelle's Scrapbooking and more who are offering one lucky winner...

I have popped up the tree on my card...I stamped it three times and layered each piece, the image is from Whiff of Joy and has been coloured with copics. The papers are from Scenic Route but I can't remember which ones...oops!! I added a bit of raffia ribbon and a couple of punched snowflakes....and finished with glitter and gems. You can buy Whiff of Joy stamps and copics at Michelles Scrapbooking...check them out!!

5th Avenue..

Howdy my fellow stampers...first of all I would like to thanks everybody for their birthday wishes and cards...you are all so very thoughtful!! So I bought myself some sassy's for my birthday just incase I didn't get any crafty goodies. This is 5th Avenue from the simply Sassy range from Sugar Nellie. I have coloured the image with copics and glitzed her up with glitter, I also added glossy accents to her bag and shoes to make them shiny and look patent...not sure if you can see that in the photo. The papers are from Fancy Pants - happy together collection and my new rolled daisy flower die-namics die from My Favourite Things...bit of practioce needed with this one just to get those petals not quite so much on top of one another...oh and made a boob with the message so I had to add some doodly bits.

Dig out the old...

Good morning everybody and my scheduled post...I hope whilst you are reading this that my office has warmed up and the drilling has stopped...it was freezing and noisy yesterday.

The challenge this week over at Dream Valley is "Dig out the old stash to use with your new stash". I have used fairly new papers from MME - Stella Rose collection. The image is of course from LOTV which I coloured with copics and I have had that for a wee while now, the ribbon is from The ribbon Girl and is brand spankin' new and the flower has been cut with a sizzlits daisy die...my very first sizzlits many moons ago. Oh la la...

Hello my fellow bloggers...wow I am so excited this morning even though I am at work, The lovely Elaine asked if I would like to be in the Spotlight over on the Sugar Nellie Blog...and of course I had to say yes. I'm not sure which cards Elaine is picking from my blog so that's a surprise for me too, just this one as she asked me to make a new one. I was lucky enough to win one of Elaine's goodie bag..thanks so much Elaine, so I decided it was only right to use the products that came in the goody bag. The stamp is Oh La La from the Simply Sassy range at Sugar Nellie, which you can buy here from Mark the Funky Kit Man!! I coloured the image with copics although looking at her now, she looks like she is wearing spats. I thought the papers were just the perfect match for this stamp...not sure which make they are but they are so pretty!! I added some buttons, pins and ribbon...hope you like!!

Hi folks...a quick post before I go and watch BGT...I have recorded it...I have to fast forward some of the rubbish!! Everybody has gone out tonight and left me all alone...Michael has been away with his friends since last night and won't be home until tomorrow, Holly has a sleepover at her friends and my hubby has gone to the pub with his friends...so peace and quiet to make this card although I started colouring this on Wednesday at the card class. I coloured this Hanglar(which I received from Elaine) with DI's...still practicing, the papers are from MME - So Sophie which I love, these are my favourite colours!! I stitched all the layers and then added some pearls and flowers.

Childhood Memories...

Good morning sweet stampers, I hope the weather is too bad wherever you are...it's a bit rainy here!! Well this is the last weekend in my office....we have a big office move on Monday to a nice new building so hopefully all my stuff has been packed away and I will find it on Monday....I had to take my calculator, notepad and headset home with me on Thursday as I need them today and I would never manage without them.

The challenge this week over at Sweet Stampin is " childhood memories". When I saw this cute little Gorjuss Girl...I had to have her as reminded me of when I was younger...very much younger and my big, transparent bubble brolly. I also had a matching transparent raincoat...honest they were the fashion in those days although these big brollys are back in fashion. Holly has a few of these but she doesn't really like them cos they are too big but probably when I bought them I was thinking of how much I loved mine when I was little.

This week's sponsor Tiffany Doodles.

I love a cuppa...

Morning everybody and another gorgeous day!! I thought I would get this card posted asap and then I can get on with some housework. I think this image sums me up...as I have umpteen cuppas in the morning!! I know...too many isn't good for you...anyway...I have been colouring this image over the past few nights and practicing colouring with DI's...this is my first attempt. I have to say..it's very therapeutic but does take much longer. The lovely Elaine sent me some card to use which is 100% better than the card I was using so may need to treat myself!! The papers are from MME - So Sophie which I cut into squares and then added some stitching to make a patchwork effect. I didn't want to add anymore layers as I thought it was busy enough with papers. I couldn't help myself...I had to stick on some of those flowers. I thought I would enter the Sugar Nellie Challenge on Facebook with this one as it's squares. I was also swithering about entering the Simply Sassy Banner competition too but I'm not sure if the colours are cold enough to match Elaine's....I'm going to give it a bash anyway!!

Don't forget there's still time to enter the DT CAlls at Sweet Stampin Challenge blog and Paper Sundaes Challenge blog.
