Zumba chick...



Hey Sunday bloggers....well what started out to be a lovely weekend has turned into a very miserable one!! So before I head off to bed I thought I would share a wee card with you...I bought this stamp last week and really didn't know what to do with it, the hair was scaring me a bit however here's my attempt!!

The papers are from MME - Unforgettable, I layered and distressed them, the stamp is Zumba chick from Saturated Canary which I coloured with copics and then shaded with polychromos. The flowers were cut using the die-namics flower trio die which I doodled and added somed pearls to the centres...hope you likey!!

check them sunflowers...



Hello Saturday bloggers and what a lovely day it is...I love when I can get the washing hung outside and it gets dried in the same day you wash it!!

So...I ordered some new goodies and this is some of them..the papers I bought last week but still new and they are Fancy Pants Park Bench, the stamp is Uptown Girl Posh has  a present which I coloured with copics, I then did some shading with polychromos.  I added some glitter to the ribbony fluffy bits.  The scallop has been cut using the wonky scallop from die-namics and finally those sunflowers I am totally loving...so this is a warning you may see lots of these...lol!!  These have been cut with my brand spankin new die-namics sunflower die....hope you likey!!

Pots of Love...



A wee quickie before bed tonight!! I wanted to enter this weeks challenge at The Ribbon Girl as I found these Tim Holtz ribbon s and flowers in my stash and really wanted to use them so thought they were perfect for the challenge.

We were out earlier for dinner as it's Michael's birthday on Sunday...my boy will be 21!!  He has plans all weekend so we had to book a slot with him tonight as his plans don't include mum, dad and sister!!  Although they will when he runs out of cash!!

For my card I have used Pots of Love from LOTV which I coloured with copics, the papers are from MME - Howdy Doody which I layered onto kraft card.  The ribbon and flowers are from TH...they are really pretty IRL!!

Some news...



Good morning all...hope you are all well!!  So a wee scheduled post today to share my exciting news...I have been asked to join the DT over at Lili's Little Fairies....how fab is that??  Couldn't believe it when Squirrel emailed me and of course I said yes!!  So my first card will be next Thursday so watch this space.

In preparation I thought I would share a wee LOTV card anyway...this image is from one of the sketch pads (they are amazing) which I coloured with copics, the papers are from MME - Unforgetable which I layered onto bazill card and then distressed around the edges.  I finished with some pearls in the corners and some glitter....quite plain and simple.

A Krafty Christmas...



Good morning sweet stampers....well here we are with another challenge over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'....only another 8 cards to go until Christmas again!!  How scary is that??

This month we are challenging you to make your Christmas cards krafty, just use some kraft card on them & you're in!  We're sponsored by the very enticing My Mum's Craft Shop who are offering a fab £10 voucher to the lucky winner of April's challenge.

For my card I have used papers from Carta Bella Winter Fun which are perfect for toning in withkraft card.  I layered each of them on kraft card and then doodled the edges. The stamp is from LOTV which I coloured with copics and polychromos, added some glamour dust to the snow!!  I added a kraft snowflake which I glitzed up with platinum stickles...hope you likey!!

Bear Hugs...




Good morning sweet stampers and my scheduled post...not because I have having a lie in but because I am off to the Sincerely Yours craft show at Ingliston....mmm I wonder what I will buy?? I might need to avoid the stand that sells the lovely dies after the grief I gave them for not sending my online order ...only took them 4 weeks and 3 days to refund me!!

So...I am loving these new papers from Fancy Pants - Park Bench collection...they are just so yummy and just my kind of colours!! I love blue and yellow, blue and green or blue and orang together...  I layered them onto kraft card. The stamp is Bear Hug from Belles and whistles which I coloured with copics. The flower has been cut using my mini hybrid rolled rose die, I added a wee ribbon bow with a button attached and then some pearls, sequins and doodles to finish.

A quickie before bed...



Well howdy...or should I say good night!!  I am not tired as my mind is working overtime...so thought I would do a wee quick post that I was saving for later in the week but hey ho....it's here now!!

The papers are Forever Friends (I think...had them in my stash for ages!!) The stamp is of course Hazel & Nutty from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics but is sold out at the moment but you can get it in digi format here.  This is one of my favourite stamps....so cute!!  The flowers were cut using my die-namics flower trio die.  I added some pearl to the centres of the flowers and doodled around the edges and added lots of glitter....watch out as I am back in doodle mode and there will be more doodles this week...lol!!

And now for something a little bit different...



Howdy folks...well what a very blustery day today...so anyway since it's been too rainy and windy to do anything, i thought I would make a wee card.  When I saw the sketch over at Sketch Saturday I thought it looked a bit different and intersting so here I have made something a bit different for me....

The papers are from Fancy Pants - Park Bench which I layered onto kraft card.  The stamp is from Tell me something from Sugar Nellie which I paper pieced in matching papers.  I added some tiny gems to finish...hope you likey!!

Patch & Puss...



Hello folks...second post today...if you're lucky you might see another but maybe not!!

So here we have one of the images from the Jack, Patch & Puss sketch pads from LOTV...these are so fab!!  I will need more soon...I'm on a roll!!

The papers are Echo park Love Story but I thought they were perfect with the animal print paper.  I coloured the image with copics, the ribbon was in my stash, I just added a wee button to the centre.  The daisy has been cut using my sizzlits daisy die and then I coloured it to kind of tone in with the papers and added a big black jewel to the centre, I finished with some small jewels in the corners.

something sunny...



Happy Saturday folks....well it looks like it could a lovely day so before I get on and get all the washing done and hung out, I thought I would share this wee card I made last night.

My delivery from Lili of the Valley arrived yesterday and OMG...I am so chuffed with those sketch pads...i think i have almost coloured a full one so watch this space!!

For my card I have used Milly Cuddle Time fom Lili of the Valley  which has been coloured with copics.  The papers are also a new arrival Fancy Pants - Park Bench...they are gorgeous.  The flower I cut with an old sizzlits daisy die and added a die cut button to the centre, tied with black twine.  I added some doodles around the edges and some pearls to finish.

Better late than never...



Here we are then...one day late for the challenge over at Sweet Stampin'.  Now I did have my card made well in advance but went and gave it to somebody at work and forgot to take a photo so card number 2!!  Now the challenge this week is scallops...nice and easy and you can just see mine...lol!!  I did almost forget them.

Our sponsor this week is Heather Ellis and of course we have our monthly sponsor The Ribbon Girl.

For my card I have used papers from Fancy Pants - Summer Soul which I layered onto kraft card and then stitched each of the layers in pink. The stamp is from Lili of the Valley which has been coloured with copics and then shaded with polychromos, I then added some glitter to the wings, pom poms and ribbon.  I added the flowers which are various die-namics, the flourish is from magnolia and the scallop border is also a die-namics die.  I added a ribbon bow and fixed it with a little flower button and then added some pearls made with my pearl pen to finish.

The Sugar Bowl - challenge 102



Good morning people and my sheduled post...hopefully it is sunny and I have already hung out my washing before heading to work!!
