Santa Claus is coming to town....

It's snowing...yay!!

I wanted to try something a bit different, so instead of layering up my papers, I inked the edges with Distress Ink...not sure about it though....

So the papers are from MME - Winter Wonderland, the snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart punch and a TH snow flurries die which i glittered up and then added pearls to the centres.  The tags are from LOTV.  The stamp is from sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics.

Papertake Weekly GDT card..

Good morning folks....oh isn't it freezy....brrr and more snow on the horizon here in bonny Scotland!! So today I have my second GDT card for Papertake Weekly. The theme this week is "I'm dreaming of a {favourite colour} Christmas...now I have to say I do like blue amongst a few other colours!!

So for my card I have used some scraps of paper that were in my stash, they are from Heidi Grace - Frost Boulevard. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie - Christmas Garland....and wait for it, coloured with promarkers. I punched a couple of snowflakes and added a pearl to the centres and then glittered them and the snow people up!!

Thinking of You.......

Morning folks...not sure how good this photo is as I have loaded it to Michael's laptop and I don't like the laptop....my PC has a virus...boo hoo!! Hopefully my PC will be fixed today and will be back to normal. I can't believe this has happenend as I only got a new monitor the other day and now this....well I suppose if it's going to happen it will happen to me..that's the kind of luck I seem to have. I actually wanted to post this yesterday to make a few challenges that ended yesterday but for one thing or another that didn't happen. So here we are now...the papers are from Scenic Route - Laurel and the image is from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics and water colour pencils. I layered the image onto the circle which distressed with my Tim Holtz distressing tool. The flowers are cut using MFT die-namics rolled flower die. I have entered this card in the following challenges..

Krilla

I saw this stamp on another blog a few weeks ago and thought I need that!! I think it's fun...all the other pretty girlie stamps and then there's these ones....well all I can say is this is what happens when you eat all the choklit!! ( i'm only kidding and I hope nobody is offended). This is Krilla and I got her from a Norwegian website..Scrapmagasinet...coloured her with copics and the rest of the stuff I had in my stash. I was desperate to post this tonight but I will take a photo in daylight tomorrow. I have entered this card in the following challenges:

Happy Birthday

The sun is trying to come out so before it does I thought I woudl make a quick card...not sure about it though. The theme for Die dut Dreams was Vintage or no colouring..not sure about Vintage but it hasn't been coloured, so if it doesn't meet the challenge then it's ok I thought I would post it anyway. I also tried to add the pleated ribbon which took me ages as this is something I've never tried before but I've seeen it on lots of cards an is really effective....this was very challenging!!
