I love this stamp from Colorado Craft Company, it does take a lot of colouring but I think it's fab, hope my colouring has done it justice!  This time I used my copics to colour, then added a few splodges and sequins.

There's something beautiful...

Hi folks,

I have had a couple of days off work, mainly for doggy daycare.  Also got caught up on some chores that have been needing done...and now some time to catch up on some crafting.

My new stamps arrived yesterday and I was desperate to start playing with this one...being Scottish I do love a thistle, my son had thistles at his wedding and they were beautiful, so when I saw this set I knew it was a must!

I stamped the image with black archival ink and did a bit of random colouring, I let it run a bit and then once dry went back in for some more precise shading.  I added some splashes and finished with some sequins and pearls.

Hope you like it.

Happy rainbows...

Hi all,

Hope everyone is staying safe and crafting!

Well I was super excited to make this card, I ordered some new goodies as a wee treat to myself.  I do love rainbow stamps and dies...very pretty so I did find some inspiration on Pinterest for this. I die cut the rainbows and inked them up individually and then once dry I popped them back into the die cut rainbow. I stamped the black spots on top and the perfect sentiment, oh yes and the clouds were also die cut from the same set which I inked up a bit...finished with some gems and sequins.

First Christmas card...

Howdy folks!

Well I did actually buy this stamp before Christmas and was gutted that I just didn't have the time to colour it in......well actually this was my 5th attempt as I just couldn't get the sky colour right with my copics and I wanted to persevere and colour with them, I knew I would have managed with watercolours but anyway I ended up making it a night time sky...maybe I should have added a moon too!  This has really motivated me to get back into colouring so here's my first card for Christmas 2021!

I coloured with copics, and there is colour on the snowman but you can hardly see, I added some little silver stars to the sky.

Hope you like!

Spring Daisy

Hi folks, happy Friday, I'm sharing my  DT card I have made for My Mum's Craft Shop.

I have been doing a bit of watercolouring again with my new pens but may have got a little carried away but I really wanted to show you something different and also just to see how bright I could make the image.

The flowers in this set are from  the Altenew Spring Daisy set, it was available whn I made the card but due to popular demand is out of stock again but on order and will be back shortly. The sentiment is also from the Altenew Label Love set which unfortunately is also out of stock and on order.

I stamped this image with black archival ink and then watercoloured using my new zig pens, I started with the light colours and grdaully added more darker shading until it was bright! Oh and I almost forgot...the splodges too, I made them from a teeny stamp in the MFT distressed patterns set.

Hello all and here's another creation from me today...well seeing I'm on holiday from work!!  so for this card I have used papers from MME - Blush which I layered onto bazzill card and then distressed each of those layers. The flowers are MFT rolled roses, added a few pearls to the centres.  The corner die is from Memory Box...I have seen a few cards with these and they do look fab however I think I need to perfect the sprucing up of mine but for this one I have added little flower sequins.  I also have added a piece of white lace which i bought from funky Kits.  The stamp is Sweet Blossom which has been coloured with copics and shaded with polychromos.  I stamped the image and using an oval template cut around the florally part to make it look like Sweet Blossom was sitting on the bottom of the oval...I added tiny pearls to the image to finish off.
