Hippie chickie...

Well...what a lovely day it has been...all my washing dried, just need to iron it....gggrrr!! I started colouring this image last night and finished it earlier today but what a nightmare photographing it...becuase it is dark, the photo colour wasn't right!! The papers are from MME - So Sophie collection, you can just about see the brown one does have spots, the image is Hippie chick from Simply Sassy at Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics, I added some stitching, gems and of course some flowers...I think flowers are perfect as they match the flowers in her hair....oh is anybody singing that song now??

I{heart}2 stamp - sketch

Crafters Companion - aqua and brown(I do have a touch of green too)

Hippie Chick in red...

Well taking photos at night time does not them any justice!! It does look better IRL. My new papers arrived today so I just had to use them and although they have hearts on them...I think they are fine for birthdays too. My niece's birthday is next month and she will love this. The papers are Bo Bunny - Crush and of course the stamp is Hippie chick from the Simply Sassy range at Sugar Nellie...you can buy them here. I coloured the image with copics and added some glitter and gems. I punched the heart out and layered it onto the card. I also made the little lacey flower...although it's hard to see in the photo..it has a big red gem in the middle.

It's a Wedding....

This is a quick post before bed...I made this card for one of my friends at work who is heading off to the USA tomorrow to her nephew's wedding and she wanted something scottish on it. I had the little thistles and heather in my stash, bought some new Pride of Scotland ribbon...couldn't get any Scottish rugby tartan ribbon which I did manage to get before and it goes well with the thistles but I think this one is good too. I embossed the front panels on the card and layered the panel with the thistles on top...the inside was personalised with the names and the date...hope you like...

I have entered this card in the following challenges....

One Stitch at a time - celebrations(just made it in time!!)

The Secret crafter Saturday Challenge - Weddings

By the Cute and girly - weddings

Whoopsi Daisy - ribbon and bows
