Wedding Wishes...

Hi folks...something a wee bit different from me tonight!

I have made this card for my friend's daughter who gets married next week...I can't wait!

Now Amy likes florals so I thought I would use some papers that I think she will like along with some flowers.  I watercoloured the hearts to match in and added some sequins and tiny hearts.  The banner was cut from the die-namics tag builder set.  I added the names using safmat...first time I have tried that!

Hope you like but I hope Amy likes!

Howdy folks....I am on holiday this week and its been a bit rubbish so far but taking a wee break from it all to make a non DT card....

In case you don't know, I DO love snowmen so what better than to make a card using one of my favourite snowmen stamps from LOTV.  I coloured this little cutie with my inktense pencils....still practising!  I added loads of glitter to the image too. The papers are digi papers from The Sweet Shoppe called "An Icy Christmas" which is really pretty....lots of teeny snowflakes on them. The snowflakes have been punched with my Martha Stewart snowflake punches and die-namics Let it Snowflakes dies and then glittered them up. Something a bit different...

Good morning bloggers...and my scheduled post...yes you guessed it at work again however not long til the weekend and I have Monday and Tuesday off as I might have a wee celebration in there aswell.

I'm meeting friends on Saturday night for a drink or two or maybe three, not many more than that...I might even have a couple of glasses of prosecco in the afternoon.  Then on Sunday it's family day...out for more drinks and dinner...yummmmmm!!  Just aswell I'm off work on Monday and Tuesday to recover...phew....then it starts all over again next weekend as it's one of my friends turn to be 21....so more celebrating...yay!!  I don't get out much really and it's happening all at once!!

So back to the card...this is my DT card for Buttons for Brains.  I thought I would just use papers and dies just to show that you don't always need to colour an image to a get a great card....I am actually quite chuffed with this one as it is not something I would normally make....and flower arranging too...these flowers just happened to fit exactly as I wanted them to.

The papers are Basic Grey Moni Ami, I cut the little pennants and flags from my die-namics die.  I had the lace and ric rac in my stash and then the flowers have been cut with the layered rose die-namics die and the ryal rolled roses...the 2 smallest sizes, the the leaf is from Magnolia.  The tiny message is from the Prima Free Spirit set, then I finished with some teeny pearls and gems dotted around....oh and layered onto kraft card.

Ruby...but in bluey green...

Hey everyone....isn't it baltic today?  The temperature it tells me just now is -1 which is warmer than it was first thing...was -3 then!!

I have had to turn the heating up a wee bit too as Pepper got home from the vets yesterday and has most of her undercarriage shaved off...poor pooch!!  She was diagnosed over Christmas as having cancer so she has been poked and prodded to see what they can do....so we are waiting on further test results coming back before a final decision will be made. :(

Now I had half made this card between last night and this morning ready for pouncing on the postie today with my new die...love it!!  I also did try to go for another colour but I somehow coloured in blue...will save the pink for another day.

So the papers are from MME - Nutmeg collection which I layered onto bazzill card and distressed the edges, the stamp is from Personal Impressions which I coloured with copics, the flourish die is from Magnolia and the flower die is my new die-namics rolled hybrid heirloom rose received today, thank you Kitty!! I finished with some stickles and some tiny pearls made with my pearl pen.
