Birthday girl...

Well I'm not sure about this one...my mind wasn't really on it today but I thought I would just doodle away with this one anyway. The papers are from the Stampin Up Sweet Pea collection, the image is a Gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with Promarkers and I touched up with pencils although I had to paper piece her face cos the black ink bled into her lovely little cheeks and I made a muck of it trying to fix it so I did another face and patched it in.....and I added 2 swirl flowers, 2 ribbons and a message. I added some glitter to finish off. I have entered this card in the challenges below:

Sunday Sketch & Stamp - sketch

Cupcake Craft Challenge - recipe - 2 DP, 2 ribbons and 2 flowers

Fab 'n' Funky - flower power

Creative Card Crew - sparkle & shine

Crafty Cardmakers - birthday

Sweetie, it works for me! As ever, you're colouring is gorgeous and you'd never know about her face - the joys of make up! ;) Thanks so much for joining in the birthday celebrations at Cupcake this week too. xx

You have coloured this image so beautifully and well done with the face. It is so annoying when colours bleed, often just as you have finished colouring the whole image I find. I struggle with black hair, must keep practicing, yours looks fab. Marianne x

I agree with the other girls, it's lovely. The hair is brill, glossy and shiney. The clothes colouring is really nice as are the papers you have used. And what can I say about the face, wish I had known about Paper piecing before I threw about a dozen away!! Well done and thanks for sharing that great tip with us. Debbiexx
