Fifi goes shopping....

Good afternoon fellow bloggers...well isn't this a turn up for the books me posting on a Monday...well I have a day off today but I should really be doing some housework so before I start it, I thought I would share my card with you.

One of the guys at work had asked me to make him a card for his wife...hope he likes it...he wanted a girl with a dog...

I have used Fifi goes Shopping from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics, the papers are MME - Bluebell which are yummy. I distressed each of the layers...The flourish is a doo hickey and the flowers have been cut with various sizes of the Royal rose from MFT. I added some pearls and a piece of ribbon.

Sugar Bowl Challenge #90

Good morning sugar fans and welcome to my scheduled post. Well looks like the sun has disappeared from Scotland and we now have been having torrential rain!! Just typical!!


The challenge over at The Sugar Bowl this fortnight is the fabby sketch below...



....and of course the optional extra of "love and romance".

for my card I have used "Knitted with Love" from Sugar Nellie and although this is a Christmas stamp, I felt that i could make it work as a luvvy one...I coloured the image with copics and added lots of glitter. The papers are from Bo Bunny - Crush Collection. i added some doodling around the edges of the image and the sentiment and finished with some pearls and a little love heart button...

Underwater Adventures...

Good morning folks....hopefully this is me getting back to normal. The school shopping is complete, the extra hours at is complete and Holly is much better now and on the mend and looking forward to going back to school.

I have been so desperate to make a start on the latest Sugar Nellie stamps so last night I finally managed a bit of time to colour and make this card. The papers have been in my stash forever but I though they were a perfect match, they are from Imaginsce - Splash collection. Te stamp is of course from Sugar Nellie - Aqua Marina which I coloured with copics. I added some blue lace and twine and attached a little turtle charm which was lying in my stash too. The sentiment is from CC Design - Beach Logos...there's a few in the set that matches the mermaids perfectly....added some pearls and lots of glitter to finish.

Sugar Bowl Challenge #89

Good morning sugar fans...I'm sorry I haven't been around much in the past couple of weeks but sometimes other things just get in the way. work has been very manic and my wee team keeps reducing however we hope to have new recruits next week so I won't be working the extra hours ...yay!! My wee Holly is on the mend now too...thanks everybody for your kind wishes for her, she is getting there and she got her exam results on Tuesday and was well chuffed as she passed all 8 of them...so well done her!!

For my card today I have used papers from Fancy Pants - Country Boutique, the flowers and button have been cut with MFT dies, the butterfly has been punched with a MS punch, the stamp is Butterfly Girl from Sugar Nellie, think it's out of stock at the mo, which I coloured with copics...hope you likey!!

CMC GDT card

Hi folks....it's been a couple of weeks since I have posted but as some of you know my time has been taken up with Holly, my daughter, who was assaulted a couple of weeks ago. She is on the mend now and I am just keeping an eye on her.

I was really excited when Tina emailed and asked if I would like to be a Guest Designer for CMC Copic Challenge...I love my copics and I do try to enter their challene when I can. The them is backgrounds, so let's see what you can do....

For my card I have used papers from Fancy Pants, the stamp is from Marianne Design which has been coloured with copics, I did some colouring of the clouds with copics too and added some glitter, the message is from CC Design...which I thought was perfect.
