Morning everybody and another gorgeous day!! I thought I would get this card posted asap and then I can get on with some housework. I think this image sums me up...as I have umpteen cuppas in the morning!! I know...too many isn't good for you...anyway...I have been colouring this image over the past few nights and practicing colouring with DI's...this is my first attempt. I have to say..it's very therapeutic but does take much longer. The lovely Elaine sent me some card to use which is 100% better than the card I was using so may need to treat myself!! The papers are from MME - So Sophie which I cut into squares and then added some stitching to make a patchwork effect. I didn't want to add anymore layers as I thought it was busy enough with papers. I couldn't help myself...I had to stick on some of those flowers. I thought I would enter the Sugar Nellie Challenge on Facebook with this one as it's squares. I was also swithering about entering the Simply Sassy Banner competition too but I'm not sure if the colours are cold enough to match Elaine's....I'm going to give it a bash anyway!!Don't forget there's still time to enter the DT CAlls at Sweet Stampin Challenge blog and Paper Sundaes Challenge blog.

Hi sweetie this is just gorgeous this has to be my fave card & you should def use DI more hun cus the colouring is fantastic it really is. It makes a whole lot of difference to have better paper doesn't it hun.
Good luck with the sassy header I cant decide whether to enter or not yet think it depends on if I have time & if I remember as well lol. Good luck tho hun tho with this you will not need it.

This looks fabulous with the Patchwork effect Fi :) Great choice of papers and colours and it has just the right amount of embellies.
I have been meaning to try DI's, but I only have 2 shades and never know quite which colours would make a good starters choice :) Your colouring is fantastic on this though, and I realy like how you have got such strong tones from the inks.
