Oh...what to do...

Oh what to do today...OH is away to the vets today with our poor pooch so it will be a long day to see if she will be ok so I may have to otherwise occupy my time...housework or crafting...hmmm let's see!!

So my first card today is this one...I coloured the image yesterday and finished it last night, I'm not sure if those flowers are a bit OTT but hey they are there now and stuck!!

The stamp is from personal Impressions - Bluebird's Proposal which I coloured with copics.  The papers are from Echo Park - So Happy Together which i distressed and layered them onto bazzill card which I also distressed. I added a piece of matching lace and a little charm.  the flowers have been cut with different die-namics rolled rose dies, the flourish is from a magnolia die....and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up....oops almost forgot, I added some tiny pearls with my pearl pen.

Aw.....cute as a bug...

 

Good morning folks....yes I know it's unusual to get a post from me today but I am on holiday from work for a few days.....yay cardmaking...maybe some housework too!!

I was at a loose end last night so I sat and coloured this little image, the stamp is called Sympathy Bugs from Whimsy Stamps.  I coloured it with copics and shaded with polychromos.  The papers are from MME - Lost and found Oliver.  I distressed each of the layers of paper aswell as the layers of card...something a bit different for me.  the flowers have been cut withvarious die-namics rolled rose dies and I have also added in a Prima flower...think it's made from resin and then I added some stickles...hope you likey.

Good morning folks...well I said yesterday we had no snow, well it's arrived today!! YAY!!

My card today is quite plain and simple although I followed the sketch over on the MFT blog. The papers are from Basic Grey - Little Black Dress collection, I stitched around the edges with pink thread and the distressed them.  The stamp is from Al la Modes Cheers from MFT and I paper pieced the dress with the same paper, I added a couple of tiny gems for earrings.  I added a couple of felt flowers which I made using the die-namics rolled rose.

Here I am...a bit late but as they say better late than never...lol!!  I had a few camera issues but all sorted now.

I am so glad the weathermen got it wrong today too as according to them this weekend we were to have severe snow and the temperature was to go down to -15...it was even that bad we had a code red at work and everyone had to take their laptops home for the weekend incase we can't get in on Monday but we can then work from home!!

So for my card I have used papers from MME - Howdy Doody collection which I layered onto bazzill card, then I distressed all around the edges. The ribbon flourish is from Magnolia and the stamp is LOTV - Bumble Bee Fairy which I coloured with copics and then gave a little shading with polychromos. i think I have to say though...this is not my favourite colour combo....but thought i needed to something away from my usual...

Sugar Bowll challenge 99...

Good morning sugar fans and it's time for a brand new challenge over at The Sugar Bowl.

Gayle and Karen have decided to go 4 weekly and to remove the sketch and theme  and we will be going with "anything goes" for the time being.  So there will be no excuse and we will be expecting to see lots of entries as the sky is the limit!!

Peek a boo...

Good morning Sunday bloggers and my first post of the New Year...thought I would get this posted now as I have a busy day ahead of me. I need to make some soup, then I need to do the Facebook post and then I am helping my friend deliver some leaflets...which will be for about 3 hours...I am thinking of the brisk walking so some exercise in there.

So last night I doodled away colouring this little cutie and finished the card off this morning...it's a bit different and I think I like it although I'm not sure about the pink...
