Sweet Stampin' DT card

Good morning campers and my scheduled post...I am on holiday from work next week though!! yay!!

I hope most of you have managed to escape the snow this week....it's been a bit freezy too!!

The challenge over a Sweet Stampin' is Clean & Simple....omg this ain't my thing and oh how I have struggled!!

We have our monthly sponsor - Joanna Sheen who is giving a £10 voucher for her store to one lucky winner.

We also have Stamp Addicts who are sponsoring us this week and they too are giving a £10 voucher.

So here it is then....

...I have used the cupcakes and message from the Crazy for cupcakes set from Stampin' Up and coloured it with copics. I glittered up the icing on the cakes too.

Happy Birthday Dad...

Well good afternoon bloggers, thought I would post this just now as I don't have anything else to show you but it will be fine as my dad doesn't look at my blog. It's my dad's birthday next week and this is the card I have made for him. The stamp is Sail Away from Stampin' Up, I coloured the sails with polychromos, there is actually white and a very pale blue in there!! The paper is from Jillybean Soup - Apple cheddar soup and all layered onto kraft. I doodled around the edges too...I quite like that look. I cut those little flags out with my MFT pennants die. The message is from LOTV...oops nearly forgot...I added a charm too.

I have given my blog a makeover yesterday as I had a few followers say they couldn't read the text on my other one, I think when it was on a go slow and the page took a while to load, so this is my first post on my new look blog.

Thank You....

Well hi Bloggers and something a bit different from me...no characters!! As some of you know I hosted a SU party a couple of weeks ago and we did brilliantly and I managed to get quite a lot of hostess pounds...woo hoo!! This stamp is from one of the sets and I have to say I am so chuffed with it especially as it's not my normal kind of stamp but i am loving this little set, it's called Faith in Nature. I coloured the image with DI's and then edged the edged the card with DI too, then I ran it through the Bigshot in a dotty embossing folder, then scuffed some of the raised dots just to lift off some of the ink. I then layered it onto the papers from Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar, added a couple of buttons and the message, which is from the same set....hope you like!!

Remember to pop back tomorrow for the birthday celebrations at Sweet Stampin' and the Simply Sassy blog hop...so looks like you are going to be busy tomorrow!!
